Hi all,

After years of lurking and then eventually becoming a paying member, I decided to move forward with permanent PMMA injections today with Avanti Derma.

I would like to share my experience I hopes that it inspires more of you to take the leap and become a cemented part of this very giving and resourceful community. I have @Skeptical_One and @Texas to thank wholeheartedly for being patient with me on all the questions/inquiries I posed since becoming a paying member a little over a year ago. And for those of you reading this with the free version, do yourself a favor and pay for a membership- the other guys’ stories and their progress gave me the strength and courage to just go for it. And the thick dongs they published on here and are now proud owners of just pushed me to want to join the club (because i want a thick dong too)!

About me: I’m Latino, from L.A., about to turn 42 and have always cared about penile enlargement. I think it’s because I’m a chunky guy (5’8”, 215 lbs and fit/fat). But most importantly I’m a grower, which has always affected my confidence. For about 2 years straight and ending in 2019, I consistently jelqed and pumped about 4-5 days a week at about 30-45 minutes a session. And I didn’t achieve any length gains, mostly girth gains and super rock hard erections. That same year I mustered up the courage to go forward with the surgery - I was planning on getting the length and girth gain with Dr Camacho Melo here in TJ/Rosarito. But I started with a circumcisión since that is what they recommended for optimal results. So I had the process and then about 2 months later news broke out about the Global COVID-19 pandemic and everything came to a halt. Shortly after that, I continued to stretch and pump and began to learn more about Dr Camacho Melos sketchy past with Surgery Life Enhancement and the products they were using and injecting crazy amounts of fluid that some commented in other posts that were silicon based. Right around this time I became more active on Phalloboards and began reading more about the many other options available, including Avanti Derma. Dr Casavantes’ input with the group, his research, book, and videos convinced me well enough that Avanti was the right choice for me for permanent PMMA.

Before I moved forward, I studied the AFTERCARE thread and even contributed to it for clarity. It has been extremely helpful for me to put together a list of things to bring. Including a microwave, which has been awesome for heating rags and working on intermittent manipulations, although Avanti says my initial results are pretty smooth for a 1st round!

One thing I was to tell is the experience just before the procedure. I was nervous as shit the night before. My brain kept going to a dark place, thinking something wrong might happen. Which is why I won’t go for a lengthening procedure anymore, since I have a family,home and two kids to consider. Nonetheless, I tried to calm those jitters and right after the intake process, Ian gave me some medicine to help relax me (can’t remember what it’s called but it knocked me out shortly after).

After intake, that’s when there’s no turning back. They prep your area, take photos, trim some areas (although it helped to be already trimmed for me) and then coat your entire area with a warm, topical, numbing agent. After that, that’s when they start injecting you with the product. I chose Linnea Safe. And I was upfront to ask the doctor about my issue with retraction that’s causes some loose skin from stretching, giving me a sort of semi-uncut hang and given that the circumcision was/is the opposite of what they recommend. Since I chose the utmost package, it includes Flomax which helps prevent retraction.

So they ended up giving me 13% of the 30cc material until I could no longer hold anymore, and then 7% of the 10cc for a total of 20cc’s. They said that this is the ideal range and have to wait how my body eventually produces my final results about a month or so (4-6 weeks from now).

Right now, I’ve had one follow up consultation with Ian and they said that there is some material building at the base, so I need to continue to work on that every 3-4 hours. Luckily I brought my microwave and noticed that when I apply the hot damp rag over it and press down on those small bulges near my base, I can feel it move. As for medicine, before checking in I stopped by a Farmacia Reyes for some talafadil and collagen. Ian suggested just 5 mg (1/4 of the pill) but I didn’t feel a thing. I took the rest along with my daily collagen 525mg intake and the doctor gave me medicine like Ibuprofen 600mg and Cefalexina 500mg. Before bed and to help with preventing retraction the Doc gave me Tamsulosin .4mg

Finally, as part of the package, the metal ball they provided me has been really helpful. I know @Texas is a big proponent of heavier balls but I think this one works Just fine for being in the room and simply waiting for healing at this point.

Finally, there’s just a couple of things I want to share about the overall experience - the hotel is nice enough for American standards. They have a separate section for medical clients and the rooms are similar to ADA style rooms with braces/bars and such. On my way in, there were some fantastic baddies with massive BBL’s checking out. There’s also a lot of guys here. Getting other sorts of things done. But for me, I’d rather lay low and discreet about it, especially now that I no longer have to wear the wrap and just the weight hanger. I have to strut to prevent the ball from swinging too far out in my loose shorts. There’s plenty of food options and they even have a jacuzzi. I might head over in a bit to dip my feet in. And the way finding here sucks. So everyone knows, Avanti is at the eastern tower, floor 11, while your room is at the western tower and likely facing the pool/outdoor deck area. Arrive early to become familiar with this place, especially if you’re staying a few days like I am. On another side note- I have PayPal funds I wanted to use for this but they don’t have a way to accept this type of payment, despite me calling them days before to confirm. They only accept cash, visa,American Express, and Mastercard. I had a Discover card too but nope.

Attached are photos of my penis before the ciurcumcision and the first round. I’ll post more photos as the week goes by. I am completely prepared for the fact that these gains are just temporary and will eventually regain some as my recovery proceeds.

Update. After a long day of after care. This is morning day 2. I see Ian in a bit for his review. I have some swelling below my corona but I’m not too worried about it, as I’ve seen others on here encounter this issue. It has to do with the thin skin above the circ line/cut/scar. I have some unevenness on my right and I think it’s because that’s where my penis tends to rest on that side. I just heated up my rag to manipulate it a bit more. Other than that it’s looking good. I really hope I keep this Girth- it’s around 6.2 inches at the center- but I know some of it’s from the swelling.

Everyone is receiving 20cc or 22cc and I only got 16cc. Feels bad man. The truth is I never told them I want a thick penis, just a bit above average. And I thought my penis was going to tear apart from all the swelling (Day 2) so maybe it was for the best? I'm only 1 week past my procedure but I'm planning to return for a touch up.

That’s likely because you haven’t upgraded to a paid membership, which I highly recommend if you’re serious about going forward with it.

On a side note - I went in for my 2nd follow up with Ian and it was for the heatwave treatment and the PRP treatment for healing. I hope it helps with recovery. I had a lot of swelling near the corona and it was likely from the compression wrap I didn’t wrap too well. I also learned that I need to press down harder on this area to reduce the inflammation. When I tell you it hurt, it HURT!! Like an 8.5 on the painscale 1-10. I could barely breathe through the sharpness and sensitivity. I have to focus on that these next couple of massaging sessions.

Another note - I was under the impression that you should watch porn/excite yourself to at least a mid-Erection and then massage. In actuality, you should try to be mostly Flaccid to manipulate the material where there’s gaps.

You can’t be afraid to fully twist your member almost completely to check for those lumps where material is lumping up for manipulation. I can see now why Texas is such a big advocate of heating up a rag and applying it before each massaging session because you can actually feel and better push with ease the material into gaps where it’s lacking!!!

So the porn/erections are to merely keep in the elongated stage. I’ve been taking 5mg of talafadil, along with the tamsulosin (prescribed by the doctor) nightly.

@Concelhaut . In the US the only pmma injectable approved for use is Bellafil, which currently cost more than Linnea which Avanti uses. Plus I'm sure medical overhead is higher in the US vs Mexico. It may cost more to use Dr Carney but i assume that comes with closer proximity and convenience. You can at least take a more incremental approach to getting the desired result.

@Concelhaut I just remember a conversation I had with Dr. Morales. She asked me if I had any questions before we got started and I told her I was concerned that my circ cut and skin overall felt loose and if that was going to be a problem. She told me that it's actually a good thing because it allows for more product. She said everyone's different and when she starts with the 30 she's gauging how much your shaft can take before the product starts to overfill and liquid coming out. So I would say that it's probably your anatomy. I would also venture to say that hopefully after a few months, your skin has stretched more and are able to get another full fill. Don't hesitate to contact them and see what could be done in anticipation of another round. Ian for me has been so helpful, answering all my questions and also being available when I need him.

On a side note - I completely freaked out this morning! My nut sack is full of fluid. I thought for a second that some of the product had migrated down there and began panicking. Since I drove to TJ from LA, I thought perhaps because of the seating that might have caused it. As soon as I crossed the border, I stopped by a gas station to adjust my compression wrap (had some swelling below the corona) and to re-apply the extender, and when I got home about 2 hours later, I noticed some of the filler had bunched up closer to my base. So I microwaved a rag and applied it over my shaft for a massaging session, re-wrapped it, and then knocked out. When I woke up this morning, my nut sack was especially full. So I took a hot shower, focused the heat on my sack, then proceeded to apply the heated rag over and massage the entire area, shaft and sack. I reached out to Ian who told me that it's fluid and to continue taking Ibuprofen for another 3 days. For a minute I thought that the product had migrated to my sack and had a million thoughts running through my head as to how that's gonna play out. I wish I paid attention to this more on other people's threads for those who had similar issues. I just have to wait for that to subside and see if Ian has any other suggestions.

another full round means another 4000 dollars right? I'll have to think about it lol.

If anyone out there who has faced swelling in your nut sack like I'm experiencing can help respond to this thread and bring my anxiety down, I would gladly appreciate it! It's been nerve wracking and I have to wait to talk to Ian. I simply want to hear that they too went through the motions and that it's unlikely that any PMMA went down to my scrotum two full days after getting injected. I'm worried if there's any health impacts that could be dangerous for me now and long term. It feels kinda soft but kinda firm in the middle of my sack.

I don't think PMMA is that mobile that it moves to the ball sack, especially on day 3. I don't think you should be worried.

Update at the end of day 3: I think todays been the hardest for me so far because of the swelling. When I tell you I was scared, I mean it. All of the negative thoughts started flooding in: why TJ? Why did I go through this? What going to happen to my health? What about my family? And so on. Luckily, I reached out to @Texas to talk about my worries and he was kind enough to respond and confirm his experience and that the swelling would eventually subside.

Luckily I was able to FaceTime Ian (which he did as a courtesy) and confirmed that this is common. I have to do moderate exercise, wear compression underwear, and continue my routine of applying a heated rag and massaging every three hours. I also need to take more ibuprofen to bring the swelling down. My nut sack got as big as a full grapefruit!

I gotta tell you, I am exhausted. I think it’s from the lack of sleep having to routinely get up every 3-4 hours and massage. I think my energy was drained today from the adrenaline/ energy drain of my fear of the pmma migration.

Luckily, I can rest better now - now that I’ve completed day 3, beginning tomorrow I can do the heated massaging once in the morning and again before bed. And continue to take my medication.

One thing I want to note is that you should buy compression underwear ahead of time since I was advised have to wear them when I sleep. And because I/you will have to continue to wear the weighted ball to prevent retraction for the next 6 weeks! Another thing I would say is that you should get some peptides too in anticipation of the swelling. Texas recommends it and I think it might speed up the healing of inflammation.

Alright that's it. If I'm ever going back, it's just gonna be a touch-up. Not willing to live through anxiety again.

@Concelhaut I'm using this thread to speak honestly about expectations. I read through a lot of folks' experiences on here and they all differed. For me, I didn't fully understand the commitment until going through it. It never occurred to me that swelling would be the most scary part of it all. I think what's also sinking in is that after the procedure is that after the 3 hour routine of massaging/manipulation, you still have to massage at least twice a day; but the good part is, you aren't waking up in the middle of the night disrupting sleeping pattern and just have to wait.

I'm not sure who said it on here before about not taking ibuprofen because they suspect that it negatively impacts your gains - because of my swelling, I would definitely advise that anyone who's thinking of going without it is bad advice.

I would also say that now that the worst is over, now I just have to trust the process and hope that I can achieve most of the .99 girth gains I gained flaccid I get to keep. I know that's not the case, but I gotta tell you - my part is looking fuller and I have more of a bulge. I am a grower and that's fucked with me most of my adulthood. The fact that my cock is fuller and more noticeable in clothing is a huge plus for me. I also know that there'll be some imperfections and I'm prepared to go back for filling those small gaps - that should be expected going into this process.

I think what I look forward to the most is when I get to be intimate with my wife again. I can't wait to see her reaction when I go in. I started at 5.2 inches girth. If I can get super close to 6 inches on the first round, I'm a very happy man.

The more I write up my process, the more I think it makes sense for us to start a thread about what to expect going in (week 0), aftercare (week 1), the growth process (weeks 2 - 4), and final stages (week 5-6). I also wish more experienced folks on here were/are supportive on here. Except for @Texas , who I am VERY grateful for, none of the folks who've gone 2 rounds or are moderators have provided any comments and that just sucks. I feel like I've been super supportive of other folks on here and I was/am hoping for more guidance on what to expect starting week 2 and so on.
