At the end of the day, we have very few reports of Ellanse on here from Androfill, but it seems the majority are ones with poor outcomes.

I don't know why Dr Horn just throws in the filler, and does nothing to even try and mould it into shape. It's just reckless and it's
the second time we have seen this, with tommerdel having the same type of experience.

In contrast to Avanti, who do the opposite, and work it, mould it as they go.

A central one Inch area that's like a donut? It just sounds like reckless and careless placement frankly.

And this is a semi-permanent product. Absolutely no way would I use these guys for Ellanse.

To be honest, the filler placement shocked me. Whilst it was happening I was trying to reassure myself that it would fixed or molded.

Unfortunately not.

Theres a secondary issue, in that the initial swelling caused from the excessive moulding required to try and fix it will disguise the results.

It's only once you stop moulding and the swelling goes down the reality becomes apparent, at which point its too late.

I am still trying to to get in contact with androfil and Francis specifically. It has been extremely difficult to be honest. I am hoping they do reach out.

I will keep you all updated.

Hi Tom, you are saying he measured the donut, in other words, he should have been able to see it was not evenly distributed?

I cannot understand why that would be.

Usually, if there is a bunching up of filler it is due to the patient's penis retracting significantly without a bandage or some other device to keep the penis extended.

With Ellanse the product needs to be distributed evenly at the clinic and only bandaged when the product is spread out. Patients should look down at their penis on the operating table to double-check this themselves (at least I would), although I understand why it would be assumed to have been done. It is very odd that you say Dr Horn saw the concentration of filler in the middle and did not do anything about it.

[In the process of moulding so aggressively to try and fix the odd shape, I pushed a bit of filler past the circ scar.]

Had you first tried Hyaluronic Acid with us prior to Ellanse? Often we can pick up issues like this with HA, and then when we move on to use Ellanse we can take extra precautions against this.

Regardless, you are saying that you think the Ellanse moved past the circ scar only due to the excessive moulding that you should not have had to do.

[Francis advised to keep it compressed and extended and stop with the moulding as it would cause swelling which wouldn't allow me to accurately see the filler placement.
This was great advice and I followed it.
Nodule Result
The technique Francis recommended worked and I managed to reduce the Nodule. It's still there and now about the size of a pea. I can pinch it with two fingers. It isn't something that's obviously filler and doesn't bother me too much.
I know that i wouldn't have it if didn't mould so aggressively, but unfortunately it was necessary due to the initial placement or filler by Dr Horn.]

When I see an Ellanse case on the list of the days procedures I will reach out that evening to Ellanse patients to make sure everything is good and check your initial results (have the patient send me photos / videos) and deal with any issues that evening (before the onset of any swelling and before further integration of the product).
I am not sure why there was no communication back and forth about this. I am glad that I reached you the advice helped.

[On a side note: Those wondering if an Inch is that significant, it is. Its a huge difference.]

Agreed.

[Reflections
If I were to go back in time, I don't think I would do it again mostly because I was never that concerned about the Girth of the area near the base of my penis and would have preferred a thicker second half of the shaft. This is on balance of cost and results. If the procedure was more economical, I'd reconsider.]

This comment makes me wonder if Dr Horn injected more at the base so as not to come too close to the circ scar....

I understand you are saying you want the second half filled more, but considering most of the filler was injected in the first half, and even so some managed to get through the circ scar, I wonder how bad it would have been if more filler had been placed right up to the circ scar... perhaps quite a bit more would have leaked through.

Could you please post good clear photos.
- Straight after the procedure before moulding (if you have any)
- How it looks now (Erect)
Try to post photos which accurately represent how looks as from some angels results can look better or worse.

[If the procedure was more economical, I'd reconsider.]

There is a problem getting Ellanse in the UK at the moment due to some UK / EU labelling or admin issues post-Brexit.

Once more Ellanse comes in, if you need any more please reach out to me by Text / Whatsapp and I am sure the remainder can be put in at product cost, to balance out the result (while keeping in mind the risk of filler going past the circ scar if too much is put in the second half).

There are many enquiries each day now (many are just spam from China / other nations with huge populations), so there is a team answering Whatsapp Desktop enquiries. To actually get to me please ask specifically to speak to Francis, or Text Message me on +44 7426 040086.

I am going to show Dr Horn this post and ask him to explain it. Looking forward to seeing photos if you are comfortable sending them.

Avanti Derma in Mexico. They are the best in the world.

Happy to have a chat about this over the phone. Let's wait until we see the photos of this result and get a clear picture.
For now it does sound like Dr Horn did not place the filler carefully enough. I will find out what his side of the story is and we will hopefully view photos.

I remember this tommerdel case well and it is worth reviewing for anyone interested in Ellanse.

The filler placement looked terrible when he got home, like a root of ginger.
However, it was sorted out through moulding at home.
I recall it taking around 3 hours to get right through moulding.
What surprised me from dealing directly with that case is how a result could look so appalling, and then be rectified at home leading to a really nice result.
Ellanse is an active ingredient transported in a carrier gel, that gel moves around on its own, and through moulding, until it is integrated.
I am a bit suspicious when I hear of filler being placed with expert precision (I heard once of an injection gun with precise measurements being used to inject filler and I thought what a gimmick), the fact is that gel will shift after placement regardless of how precisely it is placed. If you squirt out a syringe of HA or Ellanse on the table you can see it is like a jelly, the Ellanse even more so is like a liquid, it will diffuse regardless of where it is placed. This does not mean however that no care whatsoever should be taken in placement, but rather that precise placement is possibly not as relevant as it seems (knowing it Will move).

I am not certain what is happening in these cases of all the filler seeming to be injected in one spot.
I would like to believe that this filler shape distortion is occurring between leaving the operating table and getting home.
However, when I hear the specific line "Dr Horn measured the 'doughnut' area and wrapped it" I feel less confident that the product is being spread well on the OT. If this is down to a mistaken belief that the patient can always distribute the filler at home (given it is a gel) then this issue needs to be addressed.

On the flip side I think, we do have quite a few Ellanse cases now and most are not coming through on PhalloBoards.

I know that we see 5 or 6 patients for Ellanse per week, meaning that in a year the number is 250-300. I know of 3 issues with Ellanse currently being dealt with, 2 I would categorise as minor (a slight irregularity or small lump) and 1 is a major problem from Manchester (Dr K), which has not been reported on the forum.

I am not sure yet how bad TomJade's result is without seeing the Erect photos, but this will be the 4th I am dealing with, so 1.33% complication rate.
This does not however consider patients who have problems but feel they are too insignificant to bring to our attention or other patients who perhaps just live with the issues without letting us know. I suppose the true complication rate could be 2 or 3% if we include everyone (including those who never tell us there is an issue).

Statistically, I know the likelihood of a good result is very high. If we had for example just 10% of Ellanse patients with problems, that would mean 30 problems per year. There is no way we could cope with that many Ellanse issues. Sincerely I think if we had more than say 5 or 6 problems per year we would not use the product anymore. It would be too draining of our time and energy and we would not want to risk it for the patients.

We are already borderline on whether to offer it Ellanse or not and usually insist on patients first having some HA first for a number of reasons.
- ensuring there are no anatomical issues making them a poor candidate (such as in this particular case with the Ellanse traveling through the circ scar)
- giving patients a chance to practice moulding first with HA
- ensuring the patients themselves don't have any anxiety issues or dysmorphia.
Insisting on having HA first probably puts off most of the Ellanse patients, and for those that go ahead with the 2 steps (HA then Ellanse), I cannot recall a single case of any problem.

I hope all parties are finding an agreeable resolution to any outstanding issues. How are things going now?
Also, to provide better context to the forum, could you attach some post-op photos? I think that will provide clarity with respect to the issues you may be encountering.

When you mention traveling through the circ scar what do you mean? Is Ellanse typically injected on each side of the circ scar?

Hello,

I just wanted to update you all and apologise for the infrequency of my posts.

Firstly, I'd like to mention that Francis reached out to me (before he was aware of my posts here).

It turns out that my messages were not being received by Francis, but instead some other adminis running their WhatsApp.

Once he was in touch, he went through everything that happend with me and suggested a few different solution options. He spent a lot of time with me explaining the pros & cons of different options and reviewing photos which I appreciated. I was suprised at how much time he was able to spend with me. I wonder how they can be profitable when they are willing to spend so much time consulting with clients free of charge.

Speaking to Francis gave me reassurance that I'd be able to improve my results to be honest.

When he saw the pictures of my penis, he was really relieved as my descriptions must have made it sound worse to him than what it is.

Although my penis varies quite a lot in size across the shaft now, there is no obvious area in which it tapers from an aesthetic point of view, it just feels very different in size In different places in my hand.

Francis offered all solutions at cost price which is great because I don't think I'd have gone ahead and done anything else at full cost to be honest.

I have attempted attaching images of my results on this post but I am unable to (using the attachments button).
@Admin could I have some help with this? Happy to email you the photos for you to post if that works.

Once I have gone back into the clinic to improve the results I will update you all again.

No, in my case it was injected at 3 points at the base through a cannula. What I mean is that I managed to push a small amount of product past the circ scar towards the head of my penis whilst moulding (probably too aggressively to fix the problem).

That resulted in a small amount of product being trapped past the circ scar and forming a little Nodule.

Despite my efforts to push it back down I had no luck and I now have a small Nodule which isn't that noticeable to anyone but me and doesn't bother me.

Once I am able to post pictures this description will hopefully make more sense!

I'm very glad to hear Francis has and continues to provide stellar care, and that he has a good sense of patients' needs.
