Current update.
The scar is finally almost healed. I am barely using bandaids at this point and will begin scar creams very shortly.
I am still hanging roughly 5 days a week; Weekdays for me. I average anywhere from 1 - 2 hours per session and I dont go over 3lbs. I have come to learn that heavier weight is not as important and more time. Contrary to all the Bro-science on other forums.
I really mean this guys. Here is the short version. I recently had a follow up with Dr Carney directly to go over the surgery and get some questions answered; However, he had a conversation ready for me. My surgery took about an extra hour due all the scar tissue that he had to remove that came from all the hanging i had been doing for years. This is not something that ANYONE else on ANY other board would know unless they were cut open and examined. We discussed, in depth, the potential causes and reasons for why this occurred. It seems there is a fine line between stretching and hanging (lightly) and outright hanging and aggressively pulling: which, sure, might get some results; but at what cost. Much like lifting weights, you can surely over due it. The goal for me when hanging, from now on, will be to pull the penis with just enough weight to hit it's max length for a slight pull that it is not uncomfortable in anyway and then rest (hang) at this point for a period of time until I then conclude the exercise and proceed with a light stretch for an additional period to keep the penis extended its lengthened state. For me I have found that 3lbs does this just fine. I have also tried 5lbs and felt no different other than getting tired/irritated/fatigued sooner. So why bother with the extra weight ?
Again guys, this is NOT something that anyone else can talk about unless they have been a "hanger" who DID achieve gains and then get cut open and examined.
I could go on for a while I think but I will try to keep this somewhat short. For guys who want length gains; it may be a new realization that getting the surgery is actually safer than years of hanging for the same gains. But, having said this, it is 100% reasonable and appropriate to begin hanging ( lightly ) for a few months ( 4-6mo) prior to the surgery for the benefit of getting everything stretched and pulled as best as can be and of course any potential "newbie gains" as they are called.
And after surgery, as I am now, Treat things as if it were pre-surgery again and proceed to hang and stretch lightly for a period of time ( like 4-6mo ) to get any potential benefits out of the newly exposed penis that was not there previously.

@ Dr. Carney ( if you read this ) . Thank You guys very much for bringing this to my attention and helping me to understand everything so well.
