According to those gains, Aussie Guy has gotten great results with Dr. Greenwald. After reading your post, I contacted Dr. Greenwald today and spoke with him on the phone for about 10-15 minutes. He sounded very reasonable and was definitely not trying to push me into doing the procedure or to sell it to me in any way. He actually said he thinks people should just leave their penises alone but if they are set on doing it, he feels this is safe. I think he said that most people get about a 20 percent gain in
Girth from the procedure. He was reluctant to say that any results are permanent but when I pressed him for an answer, he said that he has been using
Radiesse on the face for years and it seems that in SOME people, 10 or 15 percent of the gains may be permanent due to collagen formation(although he was very clear that this is not the case for everyone and he can\'t promise that any of it is permanent). Another positive of this procedure,as per Dr. Greenwald, is that the filler is pretty firm and as a result of this firmness, it leads to a better
Flaccid hang(I\'m assuming from the increased weight he meant, akin to
PMMA).
I think doing
Radiesse and going for touch ups every year or two could be an option, but I wonder if there could be an increased risk of fibrosis/scarring from the repeated procedures, especially if someone has a predilection for scarring/peyronies. Other than that and the expensiveness of the procedure, this physician reports good gains, as corroborated by I think two or more of our members, and this seems relatively safe. I do think it could be quite tedious to have to keep going back for procedure after procedure to maintain the gains.
After speaking with Dr. Greenwald for a few minutes, he seemed like an ethical physician and safety as a priority was the motif he kept revisiting.
