TOPIC: My PE journal and Elist implant

My PE journal and Elist implant 8 years 1 week ago #1291674477

I\'ve made a few random posts, but figured I\'d start to document my experience as a lesson learned for others. I am a post GQ article implant, so keep that in mind to calibrate your thoughts that advancement in technology in 2016 makes this risk free.

As I mentioned in a few other posts, I thought the Elist implant was the pancea I had been waiting for. I was average EL size at 5.5\" - 5.75\" depending on how I measured, but it was the Flaccid state that was the primary concern. I was around 2.5 - 2.75\" and always afraid to be seen by gf\'s, in the gym, or even to see the doctor for a physical.

The GQ article comes out, and all of a sudden peaks my interest. I do some basic research, and see the glowing testimonials, great web site reviews on vitals.com, etc. I looked at the dates of the negative posts, and most were 6-12 months ago. I rationalized the feedback as not applicable to me, due to advances in process and technology in 2016. I couldn\'t sign up for surgery fast enough. I had a similar decision to make for hair transplant a few years ago, and it worked wonderfully. I assumed this would be the case here. I fell hook, line and sinker, but honestly, I saw what I wanted to.

The warning signs were there and I ignored them. They didn\'t require a doctor consent or physical to put me under; just blood work. The price kept changing. Was it $13,000? $12,500 with a $500 discount for travel expenses? Or was it $11,500? For a procedure this significant, I expected that to be tight. I asked what size I would get. He couldn\'t tell me, and said he\'d have to see. Also, the expected gains in EL. Was it 1 year or 2 years for max gain? When do you get 50% gain? The feel of the office was odd. The fact they asked for a testimonial in writing on how great the process was, one day after surgery. I asked to talk to someone who had the surgery, and they said they couldn\'t due to privacy concerns.

A week or so after the surgery, I considered myself lucky. See, I told myself. No irritation, no rashes, no infection. I thought it was odd though that I really didn\'t have much of a Flaccid gain in length. All Girth, so it looked goofy and felt rubbery The night time erections were unbelievably painful. They said it would be that way for 4 weeks, but I started getting nervous. Something wasn\'t adding up. It was then, on a work trip to Europe afterwards, where I would really discover how bad of a decision I made.

It was here that I started doing some web searches and brought me to this site. I looked at the posts with horror. I was scared that this could happen to me, if I didn\'t do something promptly and couldn\'t trust what I was previously told. So I immediately called probably the best doctor in the business, and played back what I was told. He was incredulous and said it was physically impossible what I was saying, and that it was illogical from a medical point of view. He also said there\'s a high risk of length loss, if we didn\'t do something about it, from the scar capsule formulation. So I booked an appointment for a Removal ASAP, after Easter.

I have a daunting road to recovery. I\'m out the cost of the implant and now the same amount for Removal. I\'ve missed a month exercising and now will be out another with the Removal. I\'m battling being overcome with depression, which I\'ve never faced in my life. I\'ll go to bed at 7pm right after work, with no interest in anything. Unfortunately I\'ve woken up 2-3 times a night by the painful erections, even after taking 1-2 Advil PM\'s. I should gain back my length, but it involves some stretching and other actions that I\'d prefer not to do. I\'m struggling with the enormity of it all, even picking out what type of extender or vacuum to use. I guess the scar starts to become not noticeable, but how soon is now? I\'m Hanging by a thread, and counting on some of the guys on the board to pick me up.

Make up your own mind on the decision for implant. My only comment is don\'t be persuaded by the mainstream media\'s glowing accounts of this process and don\'t kid yourself that it\'s 2016 and we\'re at the point where this procedure is risk free. If you are going to plunk down that investment, get a second opinion. Call one of the doctors listed on the board. Might be $150-250 for a consultation, but trust me, will be well worth the cost. Ask them for their perspective. It might save you from what I\'m going through now.

How in the hell would you jump into something like this without doing months and months of research? I\'ve been doing manual pe for 3 years and looking at PMMA for over a year now. I\'m still gaining information before I squeeze the trigger.

How many hours of research did you devote to finding out what you were signing up for? So much as googling \"elist implant failure\" brings up a bunch of horror stories. PhalloBoards and thunders pop up right away with people who have messed their dicks up for life.

You seem like a pretty smart guy also...I\'m suprised your in this predicament

Thanks a lot for the report Prezzjr. I\'m sure you\'ll get back to normal, or close to it in time. We have many members who have been through exactly what you are going through thanks to Dr Elist and I\'m sure they will be able to to advise you on the best road to a swift recovery. I\'ts shocking how little research mainstream media journalists actually do. It isn\'t hard to find this forum. You\'d think they\'d at least do a little fact checking before publishing these stories promoting that butcher who has ruined countless mens lives.

Thanks H10.

@jd123, as difficult as it was to read your post, you are absolutely right. Was a reckless decision on my part, especially considering I\'d like to think of myself as pragmatic and rational. I\'m accountable, no one else.

See, that\'s where the catch is. I saw what I wanted to, and got suckered into believing something I wanted so bad to be true. Didn\'t matter how many horror stories were out there. Those were more random data points, that didn\'t apply to me. More time wouldn\'t have necessarily driven a different outcome. If it was FDA approved, and with a 95% success rate, that was validated by the mainstream media, what did I have to worry about? A lot of the postings you mention are even pre 2015, so I discounted it as early adopters who didn\'t get the benefit in advances in technology.

Oh, and the last thing that did it to me. You know the old Hippocratic oath....

Lol

The Hippocratic oath? I think maybe Dr. Elist wasn\'t at school the day that was studied.

And..Most of us are guilty for believing what we want to believe and discounting info that interferes with
what our desires are.

I\'m sorry to hear there are still victims of Elist, I am one of them and you can see my posts

I also came about these boards after the implant, so it was too late , After only 2 months
had the implant taken out by Dr Alter in Beverly Hills,Ca just a short distance from Elist, He

was very expensive, but very

knowledgeable and very thorough. Unfortunately He was focused more on the aesthetics

than recovering my original length (perfectly normal length by the way)..scar was much

smaller than with Elist but continued with shortening of 2.5 inches from original .

And very abnormal backwards curvatures that make sex very difficult.

Now I\'m in line to have a \"reconstructive surgery with Dr Joel Gelman in Orange county

Dr. Gelman works in an academic setting, He is specialized in reconstructive penile and

urethral surgery from many different causes. He didn\'t promise me anything, He will

attempt to remove all scar tissue and plaques of connective tissue and thereby recovering

my original length. So I am praying.......

Guys out there if you see this DO NOT GO TO ELIST

He\'s a fraud, he just wants to get rich at the expense of countless clueless men (like

myself at the time). Forget his sale\'s pitch about \"new Technology\" and \"This is 2016\"

bullshit. It\'s just a total fuck up believe me. I reported Elist to the California Medical Board

However the more of us who report him the more voice we will have. It\'s not so difficult and

there\'s a way to do it on line. I encourage those who were messed up by elist to do so

Report Elist to California Medical Board

Prezzjr, I understand how difficult it must have been to write about your experiences and I truly appreciate it. I have been reading about Dr Elist\'s malpractice for a while and swore to myself that I would never do it. Reading the recent articles however got me a little excited; i mean damn it man thedailymail reported on it! So did GQ! Maybe his procedure changed a bit! Of course I still knew that it was all a hoax, but a part of me had some hope of the miracle results he said he could bring. Thank goodness I saw your post which absolutely deterred me of being associated with him.

Greed is such a dangerous thing. I guess in life we really have to appreciate what we already have and just be grateful that it isn\'t worst. The fantasy of having a huge 9inch length X 6.5 Inch Girth penis and plowing into dozens of hot women who orgasm immediately.....I guess it\'s this fantasy that makes us contemplate such dangerous procedures.

I\'m absolutely determined to have a larger penis. No doubt about that. But I guess just like accumulating wealth, slow and steady may be the way to go. Meanwhile, I\'ll try to appreciate while I already have.

Thank you so much for this post! Hope you have as speedy of a recovery as possible!

I feel really bad after reading all these horror stories. My relationship felt I\'m jeopardy as I didn\'t feel like I could Satisfy my GF soon to be fiance. I worked my ass off and took the plunge. I\'m 8 weeks out I started Flaccid 3.5\" Erect 7\". But I was only 4.5\" Girth. Now I\'m 5.5\" Erect and 5.5\" Girth. I\'m waiting for my Sutures to release so I can grow my length back. My body repairs itself quickly as I am very physically fit person. The night time erections aren\'t painful anymore but wake me up. I\'m satisfied with my Girth as my gf squirts almost every time. I feel like it will take another 2 months to be more healed.
The healing process is too long but overall we seem happy about it.
