Up early this morning and getting ready to go to airport for the trip to SD. They\'re supposed to pick me up at the SD airport gate with a placard with my name on it. The shuttle to and from TJ is an additional 140 bucks and Diana said to pay them at the clinic and not give money to the driver. (What about a tip, no?)

I\'ll be familiarizing myself with the area later today, doing some recon, then my appointment tomorrow morning. I\'m staying an additional day (Friday) in case of issues.

Thanks all for the well wishes. I\'ll probably ask for an Ativan when there, although right now I am not nervous, just kind of excited. This will be worth it for some added Girth.

Flew into San Diego this morning. As promised, a gentleman was waiting at the baggage claim area with a placard with my name on it, but it also said Avante Derma in bold letters under it! I was surprised but it really didn\'t bother me. For someone who wants a little more discretion though, you may want to ask them to just have your name or even first name and last initial. I know some people prefer much privacy, so I\'ll bet all one has to do is ask.

We had a nice ride into Tijuana. He told me the 2014 Honda Odyssey minivan belongs to a company who\'s owner is friends with Dr C, and they have had an arrangement for 12 years now. He also told me that traffic is horrendous going back into the USA, and to leave at least 5 hours before a flight. But I actually went to see Diana (very attractive and pleasant young lady) a little while ago and she said not to worry, because they use a different medical shuttle going back, and we will use the faster medical lane. Just some info for you all.

The Grand Hotel is actually pretty nice. There are two towers, and he dropped me off at the hotel entrance, which is the right side tower from the street. To walk to the medical tower on the left side, you go up one level either by escalator or elevator (push the next button up from the lobby with the asterisk). The buttons are all labeled weird and I didn\'t know what to press so I took a ride way up. I sure didn\'t like that lost feeling. I ended up in some medical ward that smelled of tincture and meds on the 11th floor. Dr. c\'s office is also on the 11th floor but in the left tower.

So, you can pay in dollars here, and I just ordered room service, which is pay on delivery. My handy iPhone converted pesos to dollars. I just ate the most delicious fish! It had veggies and rice with a not so spicy hot sauce on the side. 190 pesos, which translates to about $11.00. There is purified water in the room (in the form of a filtered tap faucet). I\'m going to try it with my coffee tomorrow morning. I like experimenting.

I\'m in my room now and thinking about going to the jacuzzi downstairs. Then I\'ll do some work on my PC and hit it early tonight. I\'ll start a new thread about my treatment tomorrow.

By the way, Avante Derma told me not to give any money to the shuttle driver (in their letter), but I didn\'t know if this guy would be the same one to take me back. So I gave him a small tip. He told me they only pay him his usual hourly wage when he does these runs. But I think it was worth it because he was real friendly and it was good service. We know now that it\'ll be a different shuttle company, so tip at your discretion. I also tipped the room service runner. Don\'t want them doing something to the food next time, right?

Tip tip tip, All i heard was Pink Floyd\'s money playing in my head. No one is going to do anything to your meals unless they want too (hotels do not run background checks in Tj). Basically 90% of all the jobs in Tj are handed out to people based upon family connections, just go into any restaurant or the casino and ask someone at random, do you work here with family? And the answer is yeh-ss. Glad you made it there safe, if you want recommendations for anything, and I mean anything! Just ask, no one gives a f$%#! Tj is a fun place, if you want some great mezcal or martini\'s hmu. Bueno suerte

So, CHL, are you saying to tip, tip, tip, or that it doesn\'t matter, they\'ll do what they want, therefore the Floyd song implying money down the drain. I think you meant the latter, but wasn\'t sure.

To be honest, I\'d rather NOT tip, since this is a quite expensive venture already. But my ex mother in law always told me it can make the difference sometimes. And people suggested that I take small bills, so I thought that what it was for. I definitely will not tip the shuttle driver when I get to the airport, because I\'ll never see him again! Not sure about the room service folks yet. We\'ll see. My driver told me that he shuttles girls from there back to the airport, and that sometimes they\'re in a lot of pain and can\'t sit so they have to lay across the van seats, because they had buttock augmentation with filler. That was funny to me.

My room faces the front street and I have a great view, but I can hear the traffic down below. I can see a McDonald\'s and a Burger King just a few blocks away, and also the Fondo Argentina restaurant across the street where someone said they have a great steak there. I may try that on Friday night.

I took a clean glass and filled it from the faucet that is labeled as clean, filtered, purified water. I filled it four times, and all 4 times I could see white specks floating in there, so I will not be drinking it!

I didn\'t go to the jacuzzi downstairs because there\'s no robes in the room and I didn\'t bring any trunks. That\'s one to add to my list. Anyway, they say that if we want towel service, to press 5 on the phone. I wonder if one has to tip them for that?

Right now, I\'m wondering if this is even worth it and I\'m having reservations about my decision, although since I\'ve already paid it, I\'m not backing out now! But as I got out of the shower and looked at my Vienna sausage in the mirror, I couldn\'t help thinking that there\'s no help for this shorty and that 1 round isn\'t going to cut it. Getting only .25 to .50 inches
in circumference for almost $3000 is not value at all in my mind. My prick needs way more than that to look good Flaccid, like an Inch and 1/4. I will be one of those candidates that will have to come back again and again to get that perfect proportion, and I\'m just not prepared to do so. This may be my only trip for this. But, one never knows, so I hope for the best.

Ok, later folks.

Do not tip, I had a service employee at Pueblo Amigo take my luggage to my room last month. He looked in his 40s and I tipped him with a $5, and in spanish he whispered, \"I can not even buy dinner with this\". All he was carrying was a bag with my ipad and a textbook. I never tip, but I tipped him because he reminded me of my grandfather with his soft green eyes and square chin. I\'ve fucked too many Tijuana girls who tell me don\'t tip, people don\'t deserve it they expect a tip every time they\'ll see you. Trust me, like you, I\'m on a grad student budget, and I spend more than I should. But the way that I see it, is if something is part of your job description why should you be tipped for it. I worked several years in EMS and in an ICU, do we ever tip the medics who save our lives, do we ever tip the therapist for suctioning the sputum from our parents obstructed airway, do we ever tip the nurse for keeping their patients clean. The answer is no, because society has constructed this stupid entitlement attitude around select professions. I love movie Reservoir Dogs, if anyone has seen that movie, you know exactly what scene in the movie I am thinking of. I would rather be an outlier in my mindset and only reward the behavior that goes beyond the call of duty. The best way to reward someone is to actually contact the manager and inform the manager that this employee is a model employee. Because planting that seed will do more in the long run for that employee than a couple of bucks.

Amigo, you have to go to Fonda! Fonda is absolutely better than Cheripan if you are looking for argentine steaks. Trust this basque gent.

With your shower experience, go with the 30%, you\'ll thank yourself in the end.

Go grab a martini and a movie at the Cinepolis movie theater off agua caliente blvd or head to the casino! There are lots of things to do. I would recommend more, but those are the main places. If you like italian, head to Merlot, its right around the corner from the 2 towers. Any taxi driver will know the recommendations I made. If you want some delicious sushi I WOULD RECOMMEND SUSHI TEI (off paseo de los hereos), its pretty damb good. Bueno Suerte

What is wrong with him? I used to work in a job where I got tips. I wasn\'t expecting to \"buy dinner\" from any one customer\'s tips. You have to work a full 8 hour day before your tips add up...and even then, we end up pooling tips & tipping out - and then you\'re left maybe buying 1/2 your groceries at the end of the week at best.

If I heard anyone say that (coming from working in the service industry) - I\'d seriously be tempted to say: fine, give it back then if it\'s such a problem for you.

Anyway, I gave the shuttle drivers $10 each way and then the grand bellmen about $5 cuz they helped w/ some water bottles i had in the car and the suitcase, etc. Normally I avoid bellman but I bought water in SD, so they helped me bring it in.

Ihop is also over by the cineplex. Great pizza place off of agua caliente blvd called Hornero.

Wise choice on the filtered water, it\'s not worth it. On the ground floor of the medical building there are a couple small convenience marts. The smaller one has a older couple usually running it. They are very nice to deal with. Enjoy the procedure and your time. Trust me if you get .45-.50\" you\'ll be amazed at how much different you will view your member. Just remember there is a reason you wanted it larger, when it is, you\'ll like it trust me. Just relax and take it easy and don\'t stress about it.

Ok guys, thanks, and points well taken.

I ordered room device again last night around 8 and this time I tried out the no tip philosophy. The runner was real nice when he came in and placed the food on the table, then showed me the bill. By the way, it shows the tab in pesos AND US dollars, so one doesn\'t have to fret about the exchange rate like I did at first. Anyway, I looked at the bill and gave him the amount, and I mentioned that it says in the menu that the tip and service fee is included. He said it is, and I definitely noticed his attitude changed and he turned around and just left real quick without saying anything. My son works in the food device industry and they don\'t pay him squat, and the tips help. So I\'ll tip a little to these guys, but like I said before, it\'s everyone\'s discretion. That\'s the last thing I\'ll talk about tipping.

My appointment is in a few hours so I\'m going to have breakfast and get ready. I\'m a little shaky thinking about this, so I\'m going to ask for the Atavan to relax me. But I am looking forward to having a different Dick later today.

Speaking of tips, if you\'re ever out at a restaurant and get stellar service, be sure to tip handsomely...for all you know, your waiter is the PhalloBoards Admin and will likely use some of that gratuity toward forum expenses

Hello Everyone

I have my first PMMA scheduled next Wednesday. On preparation..I am dosing heavily with Vitamin C and Collagen, trying to do two hours stretching with size genetics. I do not smoke or drink and work out regularly, eat clean.

Reading latest posts I understand that liquid bandage etc are not required to be carried into TJ. Also the required medicines will be provided there by Dr C s team.

Is there anything else I need to be prepared with or buy before boarding the plane.

Thanks
