I don\'t think you can use an extender. Or rather, you can use one but it won\'t do anything. Nevertheless, over time your implant will slightly stretch your tissues, and if/when you need a new one, they generally Upsize you a bit.

Tomorrow is the big day. I report to the hospital at the University of Maryland in Baltimore at 6:15 am. I will keep everyone updated.

I have often wondered how they size these. Different guys have different length penises and guys with more Girth would require one with a bigger inflatable cylinder. Do they do this or is it a one size fits all type of thing?

The implants come in 2 to 3 Centimeter increment length differences depending on the model. The smallest is 15 cm I believe, and the largest is 24 cm. For a custom fit, or anything over 24 cm, they add what are called rear tip extenders to the implant. You don\'t want too many rear tip extenders though, because they don\'t actually inflate, and if you have a lot of those it could make the penis more wobbly and point lower towards the floor. Those Centimeter measurements are obtained by dilating and measuring the corporal chambers both outside and inside the body. I\'m sure you\'re aware, but a portion of the penis is inside of the body, and so at the time of surgery the internal and external length of the penis are measured while stretched to max capacity, the numbers are added, and then the correctly sized implant is placed. When it comes to Girth, though they have a narrow cylinder version for men with very narrow penises because of excessive scarring, most of the models have the same Girth capacity, which is to say beyond human dimensions. What I mean by this is that ultimately the Girth is only limited by your own body. The devices have the capacity to expand beyond anything a man would have naturally. They act as tissue expanders and, over time, it is very likely, barring anatomical issues, that you can gain some Girth over what you naturally had by cycling the device and stretching the tissues out. That is only for Girth though, you can\'t grow lengthwise.

do you reakon if you left the implants fully inflated all day everyday for months it would increase Girth?

Also, are you aware that you can get a corporoplasty procedure where they make circular cut to your tunica and place a graft between it and you can gain 2-4cm of actual length? (almost always only done on men with an implant)

For those who aren\'t squeamish, you can watch the video of the placement of my device. Dr. Kramer, incredible doctor that he is, has already edited and dictated the footage for my educational benefit, as well as anyone else who would like to learn more about how this procedure is carried out.

I am already feeling much better. I still haven\'t slept much, but somehow I also don\'t really feel that tired. Latest milestones in my recovery: I have removed the Catheter, which was one of the most odd and uncomfortable sensations I have ever felt. That one is going to leave an imprint on my memory, and I already shudder thinking about it. But, I became much, much more comfortable afterwards. I\'ve mostly been alternating between sitting up and laying down with my feet elevated, drifting in and out of sleep, eating soup, and reading and writing on my laptop. Just a few moments ago I removed the wrap and took a gander at my poor penis in all its bruised, battered glory. It\'s ugly right now. Looks pretty swollen up and down the shaft, and my scrotum is swollen and black and blue. Pain is much lower but I\'m still taking the oxycodone every four hours. It\'s amusing to me, that when I told my mom over the phone what I was taking for pain, she said half jokingly, \"don\'t get addicted!\" As if I\'m partying with these pills over here. I think the association will be enough to keep me clear of painkillers the moment I no longer need them. I\'d like to begin transitioning off of them, or maybe just lowering the frequency, but I\'m taking it one hour at a time. My last advancement is peeing without a Catheter. I stepped into the tub and sprayed urine everywhere. It was kind of comical. Good thing I used the tub, but I still had to change my clothes. Peeing without the Catheter was a huge relief. I am already making progress and feeling good about where I\'m going.

Even though I don\'t think I\'m getting close to full inflation, I was able to have sex yesterday for about 30ish minutes. It was an amazing experience, despite the intense soreness. I probably had the device about 50 percent inflated, which was firm enough for penetration, a little harder already than my best moments in the past. What a totally different world I\'m already inhabiting! I could concentrate on my own sensations and my partners pleasure, and finally relax and feel comfortable during this most natural and pleasurable of acts. It is interesting how I expected that I might still feel some ED anxiety, and that it might take time to wrap my mind around the fact that I no longer need to worry. I\'ve read about other guys who have had ED for a long time going through this in the early stages, and especially considering how much anxiety I am capable of having, I thought this would happen to me too. But I felt no anxiety or worry whatsoever. It was like I never had ED at all. My Dick just stayed hard, and it felt like the most natural thing in the world. It might sound a little dramatic, but it felt like this was who I was supposed to be, like I had been reunited with a past self from another life who had always had perfect functioning, and I instantly remembered exactly how to conduct myself. Now, I was dealing with a lot of soreness, so there were still limitations to what I could do regarding position, speed, duration, etc. But I know all of that will come in time. I\'m just so happy that I\'m not even a month out and already able to experience the upside of my new life. It\'s only going to get better from here.

My girlfriend reported that it felt incredible, and she orgasmed several times. She is very orgasmic so I\'m not just tooting my Horn here, but just relaying the information that even at this early stage of only partial inflation, that the implant feels great to a woman. She also said that it felt just as big, and filled her the same way it did before. Now, the tape measurer doesn\'t lie, and it says I am a little smaller right now. But the difference must be negligible when it comes to what a woman feels during sex, and the extra rigidity and durability I\'m getting now are already more than making up for the minor loss in size. I have a really good feeling about regaining size over time, and even increasing the Girth a little beyond what I used to have, but really, even if I didn\'t get any bigger, I know I\'m more than adequate, and I would be happy with the result. I also know that is easier for me to say than some men because I started out on the larger end of the spectrum, but any size I get from here on out will just be pure bonus. Looking forward to continued healing and a new life without the burden of ED.
