Stretching 6 weeks after PMMA with silicon sleeve traction devices 9 years 9 months ago #1283463985

Hi,

I am 6 weeks post my second PMMA procedure. I\'ve had some issues with an old scar that was treated with laser right after the procedure and opened up (different thread about that), so I was not able to stretch beyond 2 weeks after the procedure. Now I am 6 weeks post, the scar has totally healed, and I\'ve started stretching again. I have noticed that devices that create suction around the glans (such as the ESL40) cause me some discomfort while using something more simple such as silicon tubing around the penis being pulled by bungee cord (autoextender for example), causes a lot less irritation. However, I have noticed that after a couple of days of stretching I have lost some Girth (perhaps 1/5\") and when covering for the second day only part of the shaft there seems to be some \'demarkation\' of the tube, creating a slightly thicker area behind where the tube was placed (further up the shaft) vs where it was pressing.

I would really be interested to know (from the experience of others..) if you think that the \'shrinkage\' in Girth 6 weeks post procedure following this type of stretching procedure and pressure is a normal result of some fluid or slight inflammation going down (I remember learning that stretching can reduce swelling) or whether the pressure of the silicon tubing can damage the collagen/PMMA even at such a late stage and therefore I should avoid using these means.

I would really appreciate you guys\' advice.

Thanks!

How much did you gain this time? I\'m pretty sure i\'ve noticed a trend towards smaller gains lately. The 3 or 4 most recent threads seem to be much less gains than some of the older ones, me included. I\'m a little over a week out and settling in to a range of .1ish to .5, top to bottom. This was with 30%.

Or maybe not. I found one thread from the last 3 months with bigger gains. I guess it is very individualized, no way to tell.

You, me and firemichael are the most recent i can find. All 3 are from roughly the last month, and all 3 have returned to almost preop size. I\'m still about .5 at the base but it\'s also only been a week. What i\'m saying is, it might not have anything to do with you. I hope i\'m just worrying too much and some will come back.

Well I took advil soon after the procedure so I didn\'t see real gains until 4 weeks out. I think i\'m about .5-.75\" from the 2nd round. My first round was around 1-1.2\" so it is definitely less but they told me to expect less. I think what happens is that the first round sometimes can generate scaring and that tissue makes new collagen harder to \'grow\'. I know Dr Passy in Brazil puts in as much as possible in round one and it make make sense to conduct first rounds with more material (but more risks) as they are aware now of the fact that you gain the most in round 1.

Tomorrow is my 2 week post PMMA and for some reason I am only at .1 to .2 Inch gain and I just got response from Wade and he said I should see some growth in 2 weeks so I am beginning to think I am one if the very few who don\'t gain.
