HI ALL!!
This is BASQUE23. I apologize for leaving you all
Hanging for years. My life took some positive changes and I totally forgot to update this board. I stumbled across in doing a search for Dr. Gelman\'s info for a follow-up appointment. This is my new account now as I cant remember the old password to login or what old email I used before for a password reset.
So... For the Long-term analysis.
The reconstruction has sustained without flaw. My non
Erect size is roughly 5.5x5.5 in. When
Erect it is 6-6.5 circumference x 6in length. There is little change between
Erect and non
Erect size most likely because the graft material came off my thigh and I imagine it isn\'t as porous of skin so it will not expand as easily as original penis skin layers do. So in a
Flaccid state I look big which helped my ego for a while ?.
I have not had any complications, sex is normal but I do have issues with
Erection. These issues are not related to the surgeries as I never was able to get a strong
Erection prior to any surgery with any doctor due to some weightlifting steroid use when I was a teenager. I use TriMix to make it
Erect which works well. Although I am concerned with long-term use of the TriMix and the skin graft. There is some scaring on the sides for where I usually inject with a size 30mm needle. The tri-mix does cause some pain and I am worried about frequent injections over the years which might begin to degrade the graft or cause to much scar tissue. Obvious I have a hypersensitive fear of loosing any of my size gains!
Any advice on this might be good.
I did not ever use
PMMA injections. The
Repair work that Dr. Gelman was all caused by Elist\'s penile implants. What Dr. Gelman did, changed my life and comparing the penis I brought him, that Elist butchered, I am very happy. Since then, my former girlfriend left me which motivated me to put myself into college to become an Electrical Engineer. 3 Quarters left!!
To answer some of the questions about UCI surgery center (Gelman). I paid out of pocket for the surgery with Dr. Gelman. If I remember right it was around $10-15K. Also note, it took all day for Dr. Gelman to
Repair me. In fact, he left me on the table unconscious so he could go eat lunch. He actually had lunch with my dad and girlfriend and spoke to them about how bad it was and whether or not he should harvest the graft off my leg or not. Obviously he ended up doing it. The $10-15K was with a discount too! I don\'t think any insurance would cover something like this unless it was an actual accident or disease. Repairs from Dr. Elist Implant or
PMMA or anything like that, that is for cosmetic work, would probably not be covered.
So just some advice for anyone that is seeking
Repair/reconstructive surgery from Dr. Gellman. When talking to him I could tell he is in it for the science not the $. He is all about improving medical science and peoples lives. He is not out to do cosmetic work just for aesthetics sake or for people wanting a big
Dick. He will only take on a case If he feels it is necessary and if he thinks it will benefit research and development of new surgical techniques. So when approaching him make sure you have a good reason.
Anyways, I haven\'t thought about suing Elist, \"(notice I don\'t use the word Dr. here),\" but imagine I could. He is a horrible person especially with how he repeats the same implant procedure on new victims with knowledge about the 95% failure rate. He is obviously doing it just for money. To be completely honest those surgeries and that time-frame of my life was of the darkest years I have experienced and will ever experience!
I have attached photos that I took quickly with my phone. You can see the horizontal scaring above my pubic bone from where Elist cut into me to insert the implant multiple times. You can also see the holes where the drainage tubes ran in my lower stomach area. It is also noticable that the whole penis assembly is mounted a little lower on my pubic bone then from when I was born. On the penis shaft you can clearly see the graft is much lighter color then my original darker skin. the graft was very thick I would say almost a quarter of an
Inch in depth that Dr. Gelman harvested off my leg. The vertical separation points between my original skin and the graft are not perfectly straight because of all the scar tissue that was removed first. On the side of the shaft you can see slight bruising/scaring which was caused from a couple recent trimix injections.
