The problems are the same with the new and old implant. Some of our members have had both. The new implant is simply made of a softer silicone. It\'s still of foreign body implant around which a scar capsule will form. Do not even consider the Elist implant. It\'s an area of cosmetic surgery with an already terrible history, to new depths. DO NOT DO IT.

I suggest you start a thread in which you tell us a little about yourself and your penis size and see what advice you get.

He certainly can do \"wrong\" since he\'s human and I\'m sure one out of 10, 50, or 100 sessions he has less than desirable results. But the suggestion that he would act outside the bounds of medical ethics or cheapen his overhead at the cost of efficacy or safety for an extra buck is something I highly doubt he would do simply because he has no incentive to (nor has he exhibited any such practice before).

And what makes Dr. C unique is that he\'s almost the anti-PEDoc. As in, he didn\'t start out marketing or promoting PE as a central part of his practice (which is true for the typical PE Doc), and only began putting an emphasis on PE specialization after a boom of interest via this forum. In the past he was doing butt injections and facial wasting injections with the occasional penis from time-to-time. What I\'m trying to say is that his popularity is in large part to the fact that he\'s not the \"typical type\" when it comes to docs in this field.

As for competition, technically he has it. There is a clinic run by Anna Love (spelling?) in Tijuana also offering similar injections, as well as a clinic in Panama, many in Brazil, and Dr. N in Europe. Then you also have new faces to penile bioplasty like Dr. L (lol), so it isn\'t as if Dr. C\'s monopolized the technique and doesn\'t have to concern himself with bettering his product. On the contrary, if he does not continue to refine & improve, a new hotshot will enter the scene and certainly make competition much stiffer.

Like I said there is incentive to cut costs, it raises profit. You are not doing yourself or anyone else a favor by assuming this guy will act in your best interest just because that is the impression you have had in the past.

Elist, who we all know is a menace to society, does terrible work , is completely unethical, yet guys flock to him for treatment. And incredibly he operates in the USA which is by far a safer jurisdiction for the patient. Does he have any incentive to clean up his act ? no not really.

I am not saying Casavantes is in the same league as Elist, clearly he is not, and probably never will be. But I am sure he has made millions and could close up shop and sail off in to the sunset today if he wanted to. So when you get an injection you are in this for the long term, but it may be naive to assume he is too. And remember there is no legal recourse in mexico if things go wrong.

Like Olafspo, I would certainly want to verify what was being injected in my penis regardless of the doctors reputation. I do not care how many glowing reviews he received or how long he has been in business. This is just good practical common sense and will insure the doctor continues to act transparently.

One thing about Dr. C is that he and his staff have done this on themselves. He is 59 years old. I think it\'s a bit late in his career to gamble with people\'s health. I am sure he is thinking of retirement much more than getting $2500 from people. I am sure he doesn\'t need the money. So far I am happy, I will continue to post.

Irish I am sure the doctor told you he had the procedure himself to put you at ease but very likely that is just a story he made up unless he was willing to show you his penis. Don\'t take this the wrong way but you in particular are very susceptible to believing these doctors rubbish.

I have similar thoughts but not exactly the same as BBen, but this thread is going off in a wrong direction. May be BBen can start a new thread about his thoughts (I think it will add balance and transparency to this site and Dr C.) and we can all chime in as we feel needed.

I am sorry for hijacking your thread Irish. I feel sometimes it is better to be overly cautious vs. carefree given the high stakes. I am not here to attack the doctors or members and I agree I may sound too harsh at times.

Well, I did it.. I had sex 48 hours after. Supposed to wait at least 72 hours to let the injection sites heal. I took a shower after and put the anti something fell they gave me on it. 'No pain at all it felt great. I massaged after and nothing moved. I wasn\'t worried because I knew it still would not be tight. I will need to get to at least 6.5 for that'

Would you think about botox injection in your next rd.?? You have mentioned before that you complain of penile Turtling, botox has a success rate of around 70% of the cases, it can also help in regard of PMMA early aftercare (PMMA distribution), but the problem with botox it will start to act after 3-5 days, so the best is to have botox injection 5 days before PMMA injection (but I know it will be difficult to do it this way).

Your lack of patience in all respects is disconcerting and could ultimately be to your detriment. You really ought to listen to the doctor\'s orders, because injection sites are the risk spots for infection post-op.

Anyways, congrats on your initial gains, but trust me when I say some of that will diminish (hopefully not a lot). Nothing was more amazing then the \"heft\" of my Dick after Round 1. It was hefty and it was heavy. But some of that diminishes until you arrive to your final measurement (which can take a bit longer to determine).

Just wondering. Congrats on the good results with the PMMA. So close to your goal! I hear if you put your Dick in the microwave for 30 seconds it will firm up the PMMA faster. Something to consider!
