I honestly wouldn\'t be surprised if he didn\'t make any reports. I\'ve never seen the guy writing anything. He\'s always running from one patient to the next..

Whenever I had a check up with him, he never had a folder or anything . It was about the most unprofessional set-up imaginable. He did take pictures once, but that was because he wanted to show the results to prospective patients...This of course was before my implant became infected and my Dick almost exploded.

Perhaps you could ask your new doctors, to give Dr. Elist a phone call. Dr. Elist, I am sure, does not like other doctors meddling in his shenanigans. Any exposure to his peers is most likely embarrassing (if that\'s possible for him), and one step closer to finally having his operation shut done....

Talk to Silvia and tell her if you do not get FULL records, and you mean FULL records, you will have your attorney call them. Then call an attorney who can do a free consultation call and tell what is going on.

Make sure you get the copies you signed when you went in for the implant. Tell them also you need a copy of the anesthesiology report.

Do not let him bully you, he is good at it. Stick to your guns. Tell him you will go to a local TV station and tell it all if he does not cooperate...

Hi,Thanks guys, getting these records will be the last type of contact I have with him. I will be talking to my attorney who will refer me to the proper civil suit guy. When I get to this point I will def. let you guys know. I see potential class action suit in the near future if the civil attorney thinks I have a case. Considering I am an out of work MBA student right now I have a few months on my hands to put something together.
I will let you all know

Hi all, Just to follow up with my progress.. I had visited Dr. Alter and he examened me. Was pretty straight up in saying that I have a long road ahead of stretching and kenelog before he can do anything. Looking at a min. of six months before the scar tissue will become soft enough for him to miniplate. I asked him how he would hinder new scar tissue development from his surgery and he said he has techniques with small fat flaps that would seperate the epimdermus from the outer layer skin. To be honest I was not impressed with the amount of time he spent with me, his attitude and his techniques. Using small fat flaps is an old technique that is not a reliable solution in my case. I will be seeing Dr. Gelman at UCI tomorrow Im willing to bet he will be saying about the same thing but with out the beverly hills attitude Most of you experienced members were on target in predicting what he would say, I thank you for your input. I just had to see what a $450 consultation would get me..

I\'m not sure there is a reliable solution in your case. I know you\'d want to think there is before paying money for further surgery and facing another recovery, but in my experience fixing these things comes down to trial and error. The most important thing is to remain positive and to try and be patient. Time is your greatest friend in these situations.

I wouldn\'t be at all surprised if after a year of stretching, pumping, kenelog and other therapies that you find you don\'t actually need any further surgery. When you are dealing with scar tissue there isn\'t much even the most experienced surgeons can do to ensure things heal in a way that wont create new or worsen old problems. So surgery should be a last resort.

Hoddle is correct. Also, it is difficult for the surgeon to know exactly what techniques are optimal prior to surgery.

Alter has the most experience of anyone, but if you did not like him it would be best to keep looking.

Unfortunately the list of MD\'s that do revisions is small. To my knowledge Gelman and Tom Lue at UCSF are the only others.

Some like Reed in Miami but he is older now. I would not consider any of the other surgeons that do enhancement work as they all have a spotty record and tend to over promise and under deliver.

Please be patient and realistic. Anyone that offers to operate now is only after your money and should be put in the same category as Elist.

Scar tissue is a bitch....My incision from the silicone implant has just softened up to normal...This is now over two and half years later....I think the body corrects itself as best as possible, but it takes time especially if one is older, like me

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your kind words. Sorry for the slow responses, I have been super busy. I saw Dr. Gelman early last month. He was a contrast to Dr. Alter in that he spend over 45min with me answering questions and seemed somewhat interested in my particular case. He doesn’t feel anything should be don’t until late September and wants to see me then.

Things are looking up though, I have been stretching and the pain I experienced at the glands is gone. The Kenelog has shrunken the scar tissue but in reality it seems that it has made it more condensed and stringy, concentrated in certain placed. Unfortunately for me I still have major upward curvature that make penetration impossible. Good news is that I have almost gained an Inch in length Girth seems even smaller

Bigben you are correct, Dr. Gelman did say he wont be able to see the extent of the problem until he gets in there. He said he will make an incision right below the glands and essentially roll the skin down exposing the corpus. At that point he will remove scar tissue along the way all the way down to the pubic bone. Once he remove the scar tissue that is tethered to my corpus he will pull on in and see how much it will come out. He will then use shaved skin, fat flaps or certain tendon like tissue to buffer the corpus to the subcutaneous skin to prevent the scar tissue to grow back. After the surgery and stitched get removed he says probably a good idea to stretch.

It sounds a bit scary but I\'ll live. I mentioned PMMA 6+ months down the road for thickness increase and he said he does not endorse and doesn’t have to much knowledge. So the thought of thickness will be on the back burner for a while.

Do any of you guys know of a simple stretching device that can be worn under pants at work. I\'m using the Autoextender AutoXsleve which is very comfortable works great but the sleeves keep tearing..?

Thanks for the support all!

It sounds like you are in safe hands with Dr Gelman.

Did he say where he\'d get the shaved skin or fat flaps from?

How much will the surgery cost?
