Testicular ImplantsProgress ReportFor anyone thinking about getting silicone molds implanted onto his testicles by Dr. Elist, here is my illustrated report on the subject. I emailed their staff about how much costs would be, thought about it a great amount of time, weighed my options on doctors and procedures, and June of 2010 is when I grew the Balls to get bigger Balls. Another doctor had a procedure to put a liquid saline-filled sac in a patient's sac, making a third structure to be in the scrotum. I decided I wanted more a realistic aesthetic ' as in, two spherical Balls ' so I called Elist's office to make an appointment. They sent some information about the usual pre-surgery stuff ' don't eat after so-and-so o'clock, and, I was to send them a blood work-up.I drove down to Los Angeles from where I live elsewhere in California. I checked into the hotel they had me up in the morning, and went to the doctor's office afterward at about 10:00am if memory serves. There, he takes a look at what he's working with for the first time in person. He has seen pictures. I drop my drawers. I casually ask about his other procedure involving the silicone Dick implant (knowing full well I would not want it). He comments on my Dick size, not mincing words. 'Your penis is long but it's thin.' This I already know. He feels the size of each testicle. Exam done, drawers up, he leaves to return with a bag of silicone Balls and shows me my size with the help of the smallest sized ball in his bag, which looks like a silicone cherry tomato. Doing my research on this board, I ask him, 'Does the implant feel hard?' He replied, 'feel it.' I touched the supple, soft silicone in my hand. His answer was disingenuous. It does feel harder than a normal testicle in the sac, despite how soft it was in my hand.Around 3:00 is the move to the second location, an outpatient clinic that I'm sure several plastic surgeons use as their facilities. Memory is hazey, but I undress and put on paper clothes. They begin an I.V. I'm wheeled into the surgical room. ' I wake up where I started with the procedure complete, numb, and guazed up. The procedure went normally except now I have two giant concave silicone eggs suchered onto my Balls. Getting onto the elevator, one of his Persian shit cousins/nephews/sons/who-cares asked me whether I got the Dick implant or the ball implants. Inappropriate. It's slow moving as I hobble into my hotel room with no one to keep me company except my iPad and medical-grade Tylenol. In short, I was slow going for a couple of weeks, the stitches stayed around for a couple more until it was time where I got to pull them out. Every week I was to take a picture and send it in to the staff. I saw some external stitches that I didn't anticipate and I freaked out and thought he screwed up and emailed them. They calmed me down and told me they were supposed to be there (of course).
Now, here's what I do think went wrong, though I can no longer get an answer from the good doctor or his hot-blonde staff worker / wife (I think). Throughout the healing process, I noticed that there is one spot of scrotum in particular that has completely adhered to the underlying implant, making the two inseparable. Is this planned? I don't know, I can't get an answer. Planned or not, it makes the testicle-implant combo underneath to be at an odd position. Normally, the ball should be on top (and behind) the concave implant, but on my right side, the ball is on the outside and the implant has worked its way into the middle, like a child's sled that has tipped over. That ball does not hang naturally, and it makes the whole area stick out too far. I have gotten comments about that area and I just play it off.
See the pictures. [With ruler = Before. Hotel room. While healing. Body standing = After.]For the most part, things look good. Naked, and through clothing, it looks like I have two good sized heavy Balls between my legs. It has changed my life and erased the self-consciousness I had about myself. I was so bad that I always concerned myself with how I was sitting, what position I was in, and could people see? It consumed me, and as I type this it's amazing how much relief my mind has had not having to concern with that. For that, even with the complications, I would do it again, because my circumstances were so dire. But, the warnings here are that Dr. Elist & company do not return my emails, and has not answered these questions. The Balls do feel hard underneath the skin. You will feel the end where silicone meets testicle if you go digging. But, you will have a nice bulge in your jeans at the club.

Emperor- it is my understanding that the implant is intentionally sutured to the wall of the scrotum- but only one of them. Several of the other reporting members commented on this. What size implant did you get? What did he charge you? Your comments seem typical of this implant. Not ideal, but acheives the goal of a bigger overall look, especially when clothed. Thanks for your post. I am still.... unconvinced this procedure is for me- especially considering the cost. I also do not appreciate the apparent lack of concern the doctor seems to exude as reported by almost all patients that report here. Regards

Hi Emporer:

I had the Elist implants put in and subesquently taken out. Dr. Elist will show you the softest implant (only about 2-5% of the patients will be able to get that implant due to it\'s size and surface area. My conversations with the Dr were verbatim as you described. the implant feels HARD inside the scrotum. And it is attached to the scrotal wall (one of them is so it cannot turn like your natural testicle.
Mine look very very similar to your pics..

Personally, I am glad I had mine take out..

Best of luck.

I\'m going to move this to the progress reports section since the resource-based forums are designed for articles & info as opposed to progress reporting. Thanks.

Thanks

Are you still feeling happy with your implant? I am in SF and I have been looking for someone in the area that might let me check out the implant.
