TOPIC: Biggerbob PMMA journey

Well it has taken me a while to get here, but I\'m scheduled to go in on Jan. 7 for my first round of PMMA. I have tried lots of other things obviously, but I am not waiting any longer. The big question I have for the vets is do I go for the 20% or the 10%??? Some guys seem to have great success with the 10% and others are not. Right now I\'m leaning towards going with the 20% route.

I think this is an open and shut in almost every situation. Do the 10% as the Dr. C recommends -- he does it for a reason. To go with 20% first means you think you or some board member knows more than his evaluation of dozens of cases. This PMMA is tricky stuff and its impact to be considered with respect. Your whole unit will be different 10% or whatever. See what 10% does and what it means to have PMMA in your unit before loading up. It\'s like having your first drink and asking: dudes I hear lots of guys are getting drunk on two shots, I am considering going with four. It\'s just like that. You can always drink more later but if you get sick the fun is over.

I am wondering which guys have not had great results with 10%? I am thinking the real data is more guys had problems with 20% that is why Dr. C made the switch after dozens of prodedures and learning. I do not think gaining 0.4\" vs. say 0.6 might constitute \"success\" or \"great results\" The look, feel, symmetry and dynamics of how the PMMA settles has GOT to be important, given the opportuntiy to add more later.

Had quite the long discussion with the wife last night. She is in favor of going with the 10% route, so guess that is what I\'ll be doing (funny how my mind got made up for me). She also doesn\'t like the Botox idea for some reason. She has really gotten into the research of PMMA now. She is okay with it, but is worried I\'ll end up with something that look like a pig-in-a-blanket (her words, not mine). She said that she is good with the Girth, but doesn\'t want me looking abnormal. I\'ll have to discuss that with Dr. C.

biggerbob I think my best gain was still my first round and it was 10%. Feel and quality was very good and I gained a little over 0.5 Inch. Going from 5 to 5.5 was a major differense. Secound round was 10% as well but yielded very little. One because it had a bigger circumference to cover and also they use 5cc less. My last round was 20% and plenty off cc which got me to where I am now. but 20% is harder to control and the results was not as great as round one. I say start the way the doctor recommends.

Well I\'m just counting down the days until my appointment now. Going in on Jan. 7th. I have most everything in place and ready. My wife is still on the fence as to whether or not she will come down to TJ with me. The only issue is that I have to fly back home late the next day, but luckily my frequent flyer miles got me the upgrade to first class on the way home. Guess travelling as much as I do has some benefits. Could make massaging a bit difficult though until I get off the plane. The shuttle is picking me up at my hotel in San Diego, so getting there should be a breeze. I have decided to go ahead with the Botox as I would rather not have any retraction issues no matter what my wife says. I am thinking this will help the first round turn out better and lay a better foundation for round 2. I am planning on waiting until May to go back though. I am thinking of talking to Dr. C-Melo about doing a turkey neck reduction after round 2. I would like to also go for the haluronic acid for the glans at the same time. Does anyone know if Dr. C-Melo does that?

Well it is done. It looks great. I got a total of 24 cc\'s. 16 @ 10% and 8 @ 20%. Apparently I had the right type of skin to take that. The results right out of the Dr\'s office were great, but I seem to be having a problem getting some of the PMMA to stay in place up by my glans. Massaging like hell, but we\'ll have to see how it turns out. I\'ll be going back in a couple of months. Dr. C, Wade and Mel are all great guys. The proceedure was almost painless. They took care of everything and helped make my wife feel at home. Can\'t hardly wait to try this thing out on the wife next weekend, I think she feels the same way.

What were your starting dimensions? Upload pics buddy. My PMMA procedure is in two days. My member retracts like crazy so I hope it does not cause ring effect. I\'m going to do just 10%. Nervous!

Well, just got back home finally. Frickin travel nightmare. We got stuck in San Francisco overnight due to mechanical issues. mqab - thought you might be someone from the boards here. Wasn\'t really sure if I should say hello in the Dr\'s office there. Hope all went well for you. MGB - I was nervous also. The procedure is actually not bad at all. Just like everyone has said previously, no pain except for the first couple of numbing shots. After that, it was not an issue. Biggest problem I had was being cold in the hospital gown. As for right now, things are somewhat swollen around the circ. scar area, little bit of a ring. But there are no lumps anywhere. I think it will end up turning out fine. Definitely has a lot more mass. I\'ll probably wait until April to go back though, I want to let things settle out fully before round two. I will be waiting for a week or so before I post any pics. I did measure after getting back to the hotel, I couldn\'t help myself. MSEG was 5-3/8\", started at 4.5\" I got a feeling that I will end up around 5 inches for round one. Wade thought there would be at least a .5 Inch gain from this one. Dr. C and Wade were the ones who made the decision to mix up the 10% and 20% and keep filling as things were going well. I told them to do whatever they thought was right, but I\'m not complaining either. Got a lot of PMMA put in me. Dr. C and Wade did forget to give me the Botox shot, whoops! Christian just called and let me know. They are standup guys, we will do that on the next visit instead now. They credited my account, so no worries.Currently taking my vitamin C and collagen supplements. Can\'t wait to try out the new me this next weekend. I\'ll report back on the wife\'s reaction.

Forgive my ignorance, but is the Botox shot for your face or something they inject during the PMMA process?

The Botox is for retraction issues. Keeps you from retracting once it takes effect.

Well I am now 6 days out. Everything has healed up nicely, very little bruising to begin with. I will take some pictures tonight and get them posted shortly. Overall I am happy with the result, but will be going back for another round for sure. I started out with a MSEG of 4.5\". I measured last night and I was at 5.25\". I am pretty sure I should see a final round 1 of 5\". No issues to date other than trying to get used to the new me. I continue to take my collagen and vitamin C supplements. The wife has been waiting all week, we\'re breaking in the new toy tonight! She been emailing me all day, so she is ready

Well the wife\'s opinion was \"that was great!\" She noticed it was bigger and she thought harder. Overall, she came very quickly. Girth is king in my book. I have a feeling that she will want me to book round 2 rather than just supporting me in this. Life is good. With work and all, I still haven\'t found time to take pics, not a big deal as there are probably enough pics around on this site, but I\'ll at least make sure I get something up after the 6 week mark.
