When an Elist Silicone implant is inserted on top of the penile shaft, it causes the body to form some scar tissue and what the Dr incorrectly calls \" capsule\" which is nothing more than scar tissue. As long as the implant is in, this scar tissue is not able to retract because the implant force the penis to stay extended but at the same time the implant DOES cause the penis to loose some Erect length due to its friction inside the body.

When the implant is removed, as we have seen and experienced with many cases of implant Removal reported on this site, the Dr is not careful in removing ALL the scar tissue and as a result more scar tissue develops and a reduction in length both Flaccid and Erect occurs....

Further corrective surgery is needed and stretching seems to help.

Do u also experience testicle retraction when the implant is improperly removed.

I did not experience testicle retraction. scar tissue is on the penile shaft under the skin and is hard to see with MRI, but I am not so sure about that. I can feel it on the shaft and I can see its effects on Erection so in my case I would just discuss it with the Dr and have it removed, no need for MRI.

My erections are back & just as strong imo......of course the pointing of the penis is different, points to the right a bit, that could be due to the scar tissue........one of these days I will go in for surgery to have the scar tissue removed but am waiting for a method I can have done to add to my penis instead of just going in there just to remove scar tissue............I might be waiting for a while but would rather just go in one more time, so for now, I stretch every day with the jes-extender.

Hi Guys,
apologies for not posting for some time. Status at the moment is I go in on the 28th of this month to have the scar tissue removed for whats left of my shaft and my pubic bone area. I have attempted to stretch but it is near impossible. I am hoping the length I get back post my op will give me something to work with. I also run the risk of further retraction as a result of the Op.In addition I am in touch with an Attorney from LA who is looking to take my case. His first role is to obtain all my medical records and waiver forms from Elist\'s office to review and make his decision as to the feasibility and strength of the case.On thing to remember is under California law a claimant has to make a claim WITHIN 12 months of the occurrence.I\'ll keep you all posted. If the attorney takes my case I may have to go quiet for obvious reasons with regards to the case. But win or loose i will inform you all of the out come!RegardsNueknob
