TOPIC: soma's bella to pmma

Going to see Dr C on the 17th and wondering what you all think of the following idea: I\'m thinking of wearing the xlarge grip contact sleeve and wrapping the base (where the sleeve doesn\'t reach) for 48 hours post proceedure to help it form and \"stick\". What say all you experts?

Funny, You seem to infer it\'s a bad idea. How is this so different from wrapping? I\'m not going to do anything contrary to the Dr\'s advice and will certainly ask him his opinion. The idea is to keep the PMMA formed around the penis evenly, like wrapping and folks using ADS products (which this is if you attach the cord to it).

@ soma Thats a great idea! Wades wrapping is good but I dont like wearing the wrapping at night as it constricts when you have night Erection and in my case I am sure it caused further brusing. Wade doesnt think its neccesary to wrap it for more than say the journey home. however if you have a long journey back EG travelling the day after etc then a sleeve would be pratical. Make sure the sleeve is not too tight just enough so your penis doesnt bend and get out of shape. I am done now after three rounds but this time around it really hit me that something like a sleeve would have made life much easier. Let wade have a look at it of course but I say go for it! NB however if you are just recovering at home IE able to walk around Hanging loose then thats even better.

I agree with JAM, I wrapped one night after my procedure and woke with a sore Cock after it restricted my Erection. It may have contributed to the redness I experienced.

Two cents? Soma- I wrapped all the way home on the plane, and the drive home (post PMMA). I \'understand\' your comfort level with that \'forming feeling. I posted Flaccid stretching (jes) pics which I wore post procedure to allow for \'natural\' spreading of the material without compressive forces, but wrapped it as I was forced to sit in a cab, plane (two lay overs), car ride home ,etc, to maintain even distribution through mild compressive forces. I admit I\'ve never used these sleeves you have pictured, but am now gettting some (the infamous ADS- never got into it before). My goal is to move away from the necessity for these devices ... which aren\'t necessary, but we use them anyway. Personally, I considered \'stretching\' and pumping, and all kinds of things prior- I believe it\'s unnecessary. Want some real advice. Just do it. and let it be. Don\'t obsess. It will turn out great! Because it will. Yes.

It is a great idea, you could use only the xlarge grip sleeve without wrapping the base by just cutting the front part and you can cover only the whole shaft with the base without the glans by pulling your penis through the sleeve, and you can use this piece also for the following rounds.
The only thing I will be worried is the entry holes when they are covered with this sleeve and not completely healed (I am sure they will be covered with a steri-strips) can this sleeve cause an infection ( wet area i.e. sweating , not sterile and don\'t forget Soma you have a graft inside your penis ) so you are prone to an infection, I am not saying it will happen but it could happen. So if you can keep the entry holes dry and take your antibiotics you will be fine.
The other point came to my mind are these sleeves a bit tight on your penis (it looks from the pic., I am not sure??) don\'t forget your penis will be more swollen in 1st few days, and when Wade wraps your penis post-injection will be not so tight as the xlarge sleeve (i.e. the inner diam. for the wrapping post-injection is bigger than this sleeve i.e. the sleeve could compress the whole fluid more than the wrap ) I might be wrong in this.
But it is a great idea, try to use the sleeve during Erection and check does it feel so tight ?? Just a thought ???

The pictures are completly Flaccid, Erect causes it to stretch quite a bit (tight). The reason I thought of it is because I can wear it with the ads all day without discomfort, and it keeps the penis somewhat elongated while Flaccid. Also, it would keep PMMA in the \"gap\" between my glans and the bella, particularly on the left side. It may be too tight post proceedure, and wrapping may be the better option. Smart, I do like the idea of cutting the top off so it reaches the base, but if it\'s too tight it may be like squeezing a tube of toothpaste in the middle, causing redistribution to either side-

Im curious about this as well, i have a stretched out auto xsleeve that i figure might be a good choice after.

This (Soma\'s idea) is something not thoroughly tested and seems like all of us are relying on hypotheses alone.
I was curious about the use of some kind of silicone sleeve which is secured snugly around the glans (only) and is then tugged down and attached to some band around your leg so that you have the penis stretched out for at least the first 24 hours (may not be suggested if you travel by plane) to prevent the bunching of PMMA back into the shaft (which consequently leads to gaps and rings).
I wasn\'t sure if this was possible because I thought that either the sleeves could not A) effectively stay snug around ONLY the glans, and the compression of the sleeve may not be good for the glans for long periods of time.
I think the wrapping Wade does works effectively for the shaft (from my experience) and so the last thing that could be useful is a way of keeping the penis elongated without any additional pressure to the shaft (to prevent needless resettlement of the PMMA) - hence the need to tug via glans without touching anything else if possible. Just my own musings..
However I\'m interested in knowing what Dr. C & Wade think about Soma\'s idea.

Tomorrow is the day- I plan on asking for the 20% seeing as my penis was degloved a year ago for the Bella. Any thoughts/advice?
