Hey fellas!
So Round 2 is complete, and here are the details:
I arrived before noon and walked in pretty much knowing what to expect. Shortly after, I was dressed in the medical garments and started to receive my lidocaine shots. Man, I\'m not sure I\'ll ever get used to the burning sensation it causes just before it numbs you...
The procedure began, and I was told they would try 10 % this time around. They were starting to believe that they could achieve comparable
Girth that one would receive with 20 % (although probably not identical) and simultaneously reducing post-op contour/aesthetic issues.
I don\'t know if it is because I\'m just horrible with needles (I wasn\'t terribly nervous the second time around), but for some reason I continued to feel pinches here and there. After reporting the poking sensation, they stuck me with another lidocaine and let it sit for a short bit before attempting the procedure. Throughout the whole procedure I\'d always seem to find a way to sense sharpness or pain, causing them to halt and inject me with more lidocaine. My original appointment (Round 1) must have had no more than 3-4 shots total, with like 95% numbness. I received double that quantity this session with like 80% numbness... my penis was simply not responding to it as you would hope it would.
I believe it got to a point that the Dr. didn\'t think it was wise to continue shooting me up with lidocaine if the current dosages hadn\'t already been effective and we stopped at a total of 11 cc\'s with some emphasis in the gap between the glans and upper shaft. My only hope is that we can somehow resolve this issue in Round 3...somehow??
As before, I was pleased with the attention to detail and professionalism of Dr.
Casavantes & his Staff. They really tried to work with what they could, but my penis was simply being stubborn with the local anesthetics. But the 11cc of 10% certainly appears to have added some
Girth, but it will obviously not be conclusive for another 6 weeks or so.
I definitely wish to seek a 3rd Round, because I\'m not sure this round will provide the bulk-upgrade I was looking for. With what they were able to manage, I do believe aesthetics will most likely improve after Round 2.
We (Dr. C, Wade, and I) talked about a variety of topics early, but didn\'t get to discuss as much as I would have liked to during the procedure because I found myself cussing (not at anyone in particular, just aloud) when the lidocaine wouldn\'t work lol
As before, pictures were taken before & after the treatment, and antibiotics were prescribed.
Entry points healed completely in about 3 days, bruising and swelling definitely less than Round 1. Pretty tender the first day post-op, but has improved dramatically and there is no pain to report. Everything is quite the same post-op as it was with Round 1, minus the volume and percentage of
PMMA.
All in all, even with the situation involving my penises unwillingness to go completely numb, I found the experience to be a quality one. They don\'t ever seem to push their luck or the limits, and that in itself is reassuring.
