what determines the amount of fat transfer survival? and compliancy with a patient? 6 years 7 months ago #1304115269

this is not for size enhancement so please don\'t bash the technique.assuming the actual processing and procedure is done 100% perfect, what determines the amount of fat that will actually survive once its been transplanted into a patients penis? it will be max 10-20cc primarily for skin Repair, will this amount fat remain for several years? or will it gradually taper off and resorb the same way that HA does over a shorter period of time?how exactly does the fat gather a blood supply also, does it survive upon contact with blood or is there a more complicated function? thanks

Good question.Id like to know what different doctors who actually do FFT procedures say about this.Would be helpful to know what Morganstern,Giunta,Mata,Heller,Capriotti,Maercks etc say about it.What do they do different? If some of these doctors are still getting terrible results why are they still doing these procedures? If I was in it to make money I'd do HA fillers instead would be a lot easier. Fat transfer much more labor intensive (harvesting, processing, injecting etc Have not read about recent FFT 'disasters ' from these doctors. If I'd had no problems I'd never been on this board . (I did. But as it turned out it wasn't major/just expensive ) In other words some of these doctors must be getting good results /otherwise we would be hearing about it (recent - I'm not interested in 10 or 15 years ago)

I know a plastic surgeon who does fat transfers for patients and he uses PRP to help it last, but I don\'t think its results are that great since he dissuaded me from doing this when I asked. It tends to melt away fairly quickly, depending on the patient. FYI the area I was asking about it for wasn\'t anywhere near my PMMA lol.
