would you choose microfat grafting or dermal fillers for my situation? 6 years 9 months ago #1303612515

so long story short, i had some fordyce spots removed using micropunch procedure on my penis, all well and good but i did end up with a larger scar where i had a wound healing issue.anyway my plastic surgeon offers a follow up Revision procedure for free and has invited me back over to Germany for treatment of my scars (norberto pallua for anyone wandering, absolute prodigy the bloke is) he\'s offered me a choice of either microfat grafting or if i would like, a dermal hyaluronic filler. I\'m weighing up both options and i\'m so undecided at the moment.can anyone thats had either of those procedures done tell me of their own experiences? i was originally worried about the fat graph but having read deeper i see that microfat method of harvesting has a huge survival rate and as pallua confirmed to me, hard nodules are very rare and the end result is fantastic.the reason i was thinking about Hyaluronic Acid is that it non surgical, i would avoid being sedated again and its quick and simple, but will the results last as long as the fat, are there many drawbacks and complications with the overall aesthetic result? i\'ve heard some great things about HA too, but id just like a second opinion.any info greatly appreciated this is really important to methanks

Submission is a treatment that works well for scars elsewhere - don\'t know on the penis. if your doctor says he can do micro fat that will be permanent - then go for it, so long as there is a plan for if it dissolves away. It would work a bit like subcision too.
You need such a small amount you would not need sedation to harvest.
HA will be temporary.

Would you say that the recommended fat transfer would be the way to go then? I believe additional top ups are free of charge, I\'m just concerned about how it will feel over time

The only reason I felt tempted with the HA is that it\'s temporary for peice of mind and ease of solving any possible complications

I am tempted by Fat Transfer it makes sense to move the fat from the gut to the Penis and instead of a fat gut, have a fat penis.
Over time it is considerably less costly than Voluma.

Does Dr Oates do fat transfer.

is anyone aware of what fat feels like under penis skin after it has taken? \"Hyaluronic Acid would be an option to improve the outcome. In case you want to try this, I'm willing to do this. However, you should know that Hyaluronic Acid doesn't contain stem cells and therefore it's not really repairing the skin. It's just a filler. After fat grafting in a few patients some lumps can occur - but only in the early stage. After a couple of months they are going to disappear. I personally inject only microfat in the penis. The incidence of developing lumps with microfat is very low. After a period of three to four months the transplanted fat has a take and is part of your body and therefore it will stay permanently\" those were my surgeons words regarding it, so undecided it actually hurts, and i cant even view the pictures on this site of people who have undergone FFT so i\'m confused as to what the outcome will be.
