Stay aware from Barron!!! I almost lost my penis after a surgery with him...

I know. It\'s been insane. In 2010 is when I got peyronie\'s and my log has the whole story on that (verapamil injections that did nothing and then surgery which left it straight - but kinda small and thin). If I stopped after round 2, I would\'ve saved an entire year of this mess and thousands of dollars. I think I\'m over 7k now in fees just to fix what happened in round 3. It\'s complicated to pay because sometimes it is classified as cosmetic & I have to pay in full. Sometimes, it\'s \"medically necessary\" like when I had that open wound.

This is the last one. It better be. I can\'t deal with it anymore. I\'ll cut it off and just turn it into a vagina after this...though I am way too tall and hairy to pull that off.

I\'d post pics , but it\'s too depressing at this point - and the lumps are visible but the feeling of them is worse. Maybe if it all goes ok then I\'ll show before and after pics of the lump Removal and scrotum \"release\" or whatever they call it. I just got tired of posting so many pics too.

Damn Restoration, I think you have undergone more penis related procedures than anyone else on this forum, maybe besides Hoddle10. I don\'t know. You might have him beat now...

I am finally scheduled for this - but it\'s not quite a \"webbing reduction\" as I had thought. The situation is (in my case) actually just called a \"tight scrotum\" (not sure if that is exactly a formal diagnosis). The doc explained how he cuts the skin, but it was a little complicated. It was something about cutting horizontally and stitching it back vertically (and there is another alternative to this he mentioned but I didn\'t understand - something about a J shaped incision).

It is not that different from the webbing reduction procedure. He said the difficult part of it is the blood in the area during surgery and the moisture that accumulates during the healing process that can cause the incision to heal slowly. I think it\'s gonna hurt more than the Nodule removals. He\'s making me have general anesthesia to do it, but also because he can\'t use local or it will distort the anatomy (too much saline / epinephrine / lidocaine in the tissues will make it harder to cut open). Well let\'s hope this is the LAST surgery I have on this area of my body for the rest of my life. He will try to trim down the worst 2-3 nodules as well - so it looks even and not so lumpy. He kind of left the operating plan vague... like he\'ll figure it out in the OR.

Is it guaranteed that you\'ll have a big scar from this kind of surgery or does it depend on technique? I had 2 fairly large Repair excisions and the scars are invisible - as done by the Urologist with a complex closure. The one small Nodule Removal done by the Dermatologist has a visible scar - likely since it was done w/ silk Sutures that caused a reaction...and caused healing to be delayed.

I haven\'t done much as far as looking into where to go. I know that I would rather just leave it alone than to have a huge, ugly scar.

Yeah, unfortunately I\'m of the era of VY and Z-plastys, but I remember thinking why don\'t they just cut and stitch in a straight line?
Anyway, loss of sensation is a risk. I also remember after healing, that I would scratch a spot under the shaft, and it would feel like I was scratching somewhere else. The nerves were all confused. Some spots I still don\'t feel anything.

A \"Z-plasty\" was the standard procedure (and is to lengthen any scar) but now I think there is more a move towards taking out a triangle of the skin and stitching in a straight line. The scar then looks like the normal skin junction line. It depends a bit on how big the web is.

Thanks for the info Astro. I appreciate the advice a lot. I am going to ask my doctor a bit more about the scar. I was so happy he said he could fix the misaligned testicle problem (the right one is in front of the left, and it hurts with an Erection because it\'s being dragged up too far). I didn\'t really think to ask about any complications or scars... I was just like - DO IT!

So, insurance is requiring a prior authorization - it\'s not 100% denied yet. It\'s TBD... this could be a game changer if it works out. I just don\'t have enough skin on the right, despite all the stretching and other exercises. The left is 1\" longer and it\'s really uncomfortable and sort of exaggerates the nodules since the skin is being pulled tight like that when Erect.

He can take out some of the lumpy PMMA through that incision - like a reverse deglove. This may work out very well but I am cautiously optimistic.

I had considered this procedure.

I\'m not losing any sleep over any kind of problem but I just thought it might be a nice touch to remove the excess skin. I seem to have scrotum skin going halfway up my shaft and so it would probably be a nice improvement to remove it.

I assumed the treatment would be quicker and cheaper than that. I\'m sure I saw a video a while ago and the procedure only took a few minutes.

If it was quick, cheap and safe, I would consider it. Looks quite pricey though which makes me think it\'s a bit more of a big deal.
