TOPIC: Muhammed Mirza VS Elliot Heller

Muhammed Mirza VS Elliot Heller 7 years 9 months ago #1292608114

ive read as much as i can about HA and the undrstanding i have from various sources (i wish i was noting who and when in order to clarify this) including doctor Oates is that juvederm voluma is the better product here. Restylane is too watery.

i know a lot of what we say and think on these boards about HA is a sort of cascading-gossip effect - until we have more data - but i get the feeling patients and docs alike prefer juve than resty.

and listen to what sexbeast said about Restylane marketing.

I say go with Heller. Dr m only does a cc or two at a time and it\'s very expensive, if you really want to get your money\'s worth go with Heller. He does 10, and 20 ccs at a time.

I agree with that Indiano, Mizra seems pretty terrible, no harm in giving Heller a try

If you do a search on this board all his prices and services for PE are listed by hunkydory - not sure where exactly - Mirza is awful.

Going in for a filler consultation is the thread. Mirza charges $350 for only 1 cc

Has anyone used Heller. He seems to have good reviews on line. His license issues looks like it was for insurance fraud, not for any type of medical malpractice

Yea, leaning towards Heller now as well. To me the part about only doing 2CCs at a time isn\'t a big deal at all. If it means understanding more clearly how my penis reacts to the product with smaller doses, then I\'m all up for it. My deal with Mirza is the overall \"walk-ins\"and using needle factors. I\'m not getting a spare part for my car here; I\'m trying to safely enhance my penis.

I\'m not sure how open he is to actually doing HA as his surgery page doesn\'t actually list it as one of the services he provides. I am not considering any sort of permanent enhancement right now, especially because I am scared of the long term effects. Will reconsider it when the technology gets better. For me, getting a refill every half year or so is not a big deal as long as I know it\'s safe.I\'ll update on the consultation. Super worried I\'ll bump into someone I know nearby or around there. Maybe I\'ll wear a hoodie lol.

Also do people know how possible it would to continue to use a stretcher with the HA? I\'m trying to use a ESL right now, but I guess using it may cause the HA to shift around more?

Went to the consultation today and in general it was OK. The bad part was that I had to wait an hour even with an appointment.

He was very open to do the HA procedure and said that it was quite common for people to do it. He can use either Juvederm or Restylane, but prefers Restylane.
He recommended going for 10CCs this time, and that I had to wait a month afterwards if I wanted to do even more. He is charging $2300 for 10CC. (thoughts on that?)

I spoke to him about Mirza and he wasn\'t really even aware of him. He just kind of nodded at everything I told about him about Mirza.

This HA procedure is probably the lowest risk possible out of all the options. I can call him 24/7 to have it dissolved, and if anything is bad it\'ll go away by itself anyway eventually. That being said, I\'m still worried.

Some questions I have to anybody who can answer:
1) He said if possible not to have any kind of aspirin or drink protein shakes one week before the procedure. I get the aspirin but why no protein shakes?
2) Anybody have something to weigh in about Juvederm VS Restylane? (I know Juvederm is more crosslinked and thicker, while Restylane is thinner...would appreciate personal insight)
3) I forgot to ask him about pumping afterwards to spread the product. Is it necessary? I have a bathmate that I use.

HA absorb after 6 months so you technically don\'t have to worry.

Juvederm would be more likely to give an uneven result if applied unskilfully but Restylane would be more likely to move about in your shaft because it\'s thinner.

Hd once mention that juverderm last longer. I think that\'s why a lot of people go for it.

juvederm is a softer product, restlyane has a tendency to stand up a little more, both last about the same, both can be removed and most dr.\'s get better pricing on restlyane, thus they make more money using restlyane and the reps for restlyane are giving lots of free samples to their dr.\'s right now and in a procedure like yours it\'s about the money. in our office we r loving restlyane!

Did he show you pictures? About how many procedures does he do weekly? What type of results he think you will get with 10 cc. Does he do the glans? I\'m thinking of going very conservative 6-8 cc

I didn\'t ask him about glans procedure so I don\'t know. He was not willing to quantify specific gains with the procedure.

I gotta say the thought of getting a granuloma a year down the line freaks me out. I might not be in NY after a year.
