TOPIC: No PMMA Surgeons in the UK

No PMMA Surgeons in the UK 7 years 11 months ago #1292074363

Seems surprising , baring in mind there are numerous and well respected \"fat stuffers\" that nobody has become versed in PMMA in the UK.

Is there anybody who knows of somebody that I\'m unable to locate?

PMMA is very expensive to use in the UK.

I heard that, any idea why?

But also, are there any actual surgeons in the UK>?

You don\'t need a surgeon, it\'s just a filler. It\'s expensive as we have patent laws. In Mexico they can use generic versions, whilst in the UK we can\'t. It\'s the same as with buying medication online from India. You can buy generic Viagra for '1 a pill, when until about 2 years ago, you could only buy branded Viagra in the UK and at '15 a pill.

Thanks. I need to stop using the term surgeon, I\'m conflating the two skills I guess.

I wonder how Dr N in Prague is managing to be relatively price competitive with PMMA.

Just mind boggling the UK doesn\'t have this service, even if it was costlier.

So what does the famous DR C use then, not the official PMMA?

It\'s all official PMMA. It\'s just depends on what the patent laws in certain countries are. It\'s not just a little costlier, it\'s much costlier. Also, the medical community never had to think logically about using permanent fillers for the penis. In virtually every other application there are better options than PMMA. On top of that liquid silicone and the trouble caused by it, kind of scared to cosmetic medical community away from permanent fillers.
