Hi - yes it is Ellanse. In Australia we are not allowed to use product names.... There have been quite a few discussions here on Ellanse. Search Ellanse, there are 2 threads devoted to it, at least 1 was one of my patients.

Hi Dr Oates

Which Ellanse do you use

L (3 year)
or E  (Extended 4 year).

Does it make a difference to the granuloma formation rate

Typically the \'3\' yr version. Although how long the results last we are going to have to wait to see.

I recently had a guy return 18 mths after his last (of 2) sessions of HA. He went from 9.5 cmto 14.5cm Flaccid (he did have 25cc Voluma). it is still 14.25 cm so has retained about 90% of the volume.

Have you administered the 4 year product to any patients as of yet?

Hi Dr.Oates,
There is a number of us here who are uncircumcised and have concerns about both the aesthetically and functional aspect of the procedure. There are also direct reports of uncircumcised men who have dissolved their HA because they report they couldn\'t have penetrative sex.
What is your experience with this?
How often do you see unsatisfactory results in uncut men?

Thanks

Good Questions,

Most guys here in Australia are now uncut. It does add some difficulties technically to get the results. It has not been much of an issue - but I am seeing a guy tomorrow, who wants me to add more, who felt there was some issue with mobility. I would say 10% of uncut guys need some sort of minor adjustment to get things symmetrical.

Dr oats

I understand on the website it can\'t actually give the brand names of the products available

However what are the 3 brands of product

I assume

Voluma - I current have
Ellanse

But what is the 3rd?

I have an appointment in the sydney clinic next week

According to Subtle\'s post he believes he had the 3 year version. There should not be any difference, except for the time that the PCL lasts.

@Dr Oates mentioned previously that there was some indication that the half life of the generated collagen was 15 years, can you specify the source of that info? I assume it was from a non-public medical journal because I was unable to find any mention of that.

We were thinking of using 2 different HA\'s - but that got removed over the weekend to make it easier to understand HA and Ellanse.
