TOPIC: Over Worrying Perhaps

Occurred to me that despite Dr C and others doing numerous ops a day and this being one of the major places for people to discuss PMMA, that there\'s only a handful of people with disaster stories.

I wonder if the reality is there\'s literally thousands of happy folks out there and the concerns are overblown.

My own personal experience is that my penis looks pretty damn good 8 weeks after my first round of 22cc\'s of 30% metacrill.

I\'m going in for round 2 next week and will request the same. It\'s unfortunate what happened to smalljay with that wrap they advised him to wear. Most likely, it never happened before and now that it has, they have stopped advising that. I suppose it\'s a learning experience, and I appreciate smalljay giving us the warning about the technique. I asked, and they told me not to wrap, just keep it stretched and massaged, and that\'s what I did. The product has to be moved around.

That being said, it could all go wrong with me during the second phase. But I\'m keeping a positive outlook about it and will do what I think is common sense, even if people tell me not to, like wearing my ESL40 at night for three days, for example. I turtled so bad the first time that my Dick looked like a billie club. Experience will prevail this second time.

Avanti Derma certainly has the option of ignoring all of your requests for help (which is what you really need to worry about). They are not bound by USA law concerning legal malpractice, technically - though there are ways around it. But, regardless, that\'s the issue.

I\'m genuinely dumbfounded. We used to live in a landscape where complications realistically ranged from impotence to tissue Necrosis. Now we have yawn-inducing nodules and ridges. Despite some people obtaining unsatisfactory aesthetic results, I\'ve never seen a more successful means to permanent Girth enhancement with such a low reporting of major (serious) complications. If such dire complications exist, I\'ve personally never heard of one. That\'s right. I\'ve yet to see, be it thread or private message, a substantiated report showing that Girth enlargement by way of PMMA has caused a serious complication akin to those from methods of old (i.e. silicone implant, fat Dermal Grafts, scaffolds, etc). I\'m sure it\'s more than possible, and has likely occurred at some point. I\'m neither defending or endorsing PMMA. I\'m just trying to make sense of the culture this forum now lives in. If there are truly \"major disasters,\" I demand they are shared with the public at large. I have PMMA in me, and I want to be the first to know if I\'m at risk for potential complications experienced by other people. But for Heavens & Fucks sake people, stay away from penis enlargement if you can\'t handle aesthetic uncertainty, because that used to be the LEAST of your problems back in the day. Maybe us pre-PMMA 3.5\" MSEG guys are better suited for this stuff, y\'all find a new hobby. Lord have mercy.

Disaster? Oh I\'ve seen penile disasters. And there aint a damn PMMA progress report that I\'ve seen that even scratches the surface of a disaster report.

Yes, I guess it is possible that they do hundreds of ops and most go wrong but seems unlikely to me.

Only because, typically with that volume of surgeries, if the success rate was so poor class action or individual suits would be rampant and we don\'t see that or even any discussion of it. Nothing turns up negative for the company itself on line either.

I can\'t even begin to understand how dire it must be for something to go wrong like you\'ve experienced but typically people tend to rant more than praise on online boards or review sites of any kind.

Take on board the long term side effects etc but what made you go ahead when you had those concerns initially?

I\'m one of those originally small peckered limp dicks who\'s happy with anything I can get, even with lumps and bumps! I\'ll deal with them if I get them, but I\'ll have a better Dick as well.

This site has helped me immensely, and I\'ve even donated to it to show my gratitude. SO makes a great point. I hope that when I get future rounds, I end up with a fine result again.

Smalljay also makes a good point, to consider and reconsider the risks, because anything is possible. Nonetheless, I believe that below average Joes like me will take the informed risk like I did, and are willing to accept less than optimal results only because we had a less than optimal Dick.
