TOPIC: Dark coloring some guys get after procedures

I haven\'t seen this after PMMA so it\'s not about that. There were a few mentions of this here and there with members who had other work done. I still have dark skin on the underside from this summer\'s 5-fu injections (I think it hit a blood vessel one time out of the several rounds...it rarely bruised except one time got really bad & lingered...plus 5-fu changes cellular metabolism). I hoped it would be gone by now...but it\'s still there.

What caused other guy\'s skin color changes? Was it fat grafts? How long did it finally take to go away?

The only research I have done into this suggests it is a \"hemosiderin stain\" which means that the iron in your blood basically stained the inside of your skin like a tattoo...making it almost impossible to go away... but I think I remember some people here saying they had the darkening for a couple years until it faded?

Wonderful, thanks. I heard of the grip. I\'ll check it out. I like the shoe eyelet technique. The ESL40 leg strap tends to slow my circulation in my leg after a while, I can tell. So this sounds better.

This is a cut and paste from what I wrote someone else, but it answers the slippage issue and I could wear it for hours this way:

When I had the surgery Dr. Reed was doing both at the same time - Girth and length. I was told 6-8 hours a day was necessary without a lot of specification about weight. What I found is that a constant pull that is on the med.-mild side worked for me but I tried everything so I can\'t really isolate one technique from the other. I also did very short times with a heavy hang. I used the grip/ still do from time to time - but modified it a bit. I put one of those sheaths over my penis that the Grip people sell. It\'s like a condom but 100 x\'s thicker (go on the small side so it is a little tight).I use the Grip the way it is advertised but without much vacuum if I was wearing for a long time - mostly to keep circulation from getting cut. The latex on the Grip hugs the latex on the sheath, which hugs your Dick, and I find that this allows for hours of Hanging, and as the vac loses it suction you can keep on wearing it. The sheath also keeps your glans from swelling as the vac increases.

Also I don\'t use weights - I use a stretchable bungee cord with hooks on either end. I stick one in the eyelet of my shoe and the other to the end of the vac. Hanger. You can get a pretty intense hang this way and wear pants. You can even lie down and read and there is still stretch this way. I have fallen asleep with this on more than one - if there is no/not much vacuum I found my circulation was fine. Since it is a slow process not a long one I found that I needed to resist checking for progress all the time. It happened for me in fits and for me at least, it took a long time.

Hope this helps - At the end of a year and a half I got almost up to 1.5 inches in length but stopped from a mixture of boredom and being satisfied with my results and it settled into a 1.25\" gain.

That is great to hear - I always thought that loose skin would just make is slosh around.

I had very loose skin all around my shaft, and I heard Dr. C say that it was good for the PMMA. It has filled all that looseness up quite nicely.

I\'d like more length though. I\'m at 6\" EL and would love 7.5\"

In 1997 I had Dermal fat Grafts and ligs cut at the same time.
I still think of that as really successful in spite of what happened later. The grafts were healthy for over a decade and aesthetically it was pretty flawless except there is a scar on the crease of your ass. I gained 2\" Girth, about 1-1.5\" Flaccid and the rest came from Hanging.

After a year and a half of Hanging I gained 1.25 inches and the graft was too short (ended up at 7.25). It stopped abruptly at the base of my pens and I had a gap so around 1999-2000 Dr. Reed went in through my Balls and tapered it which worked. It left no scar so I think that was successful too. (Later I ended up having laser hair Removal too as it comes down your shaft at the base).

About 4 years ago my grafts hardened and shrunk, not entirely sure why, but it is common apparently and mine lasted longer than a lot of them - that\'s about 13-14 years after the original surgery. In Feb. 2015 I had to have the grafts removed through 2 incisions at the base and the circ. line - and that was successful too, lol, as I had no major damage other than stretched skin and minimal scarring.

My Dick looks really good - still a little on the dark side, and smaller than when I had my grafts put in; but larger than before I started.

I think I was 6\" Erect in the beginning and don\'t remember what my Girth was but it was pretty thin and I turtled a lot - and had a curve.
Now I am 7.25. My Girth is 5\" by the glans and goes to 6\" at the base, I don\'t turtle - average 5-6\" Flaccid and my Dick is straight from all the Hanging. The problem is that the skin is stretched which is why i want another procedure - not sure what yet, but just enough to fill out the skin, not looking for major gains anymore. I should post another pic as this week is a year from my surgery and it has healed well.

Hi Restoration I have had it 3 times as I have had 3 surgeries. It always goes away, but very slowly - between 1 and 2 years.
You don\'t need to do any thing for it, it just slowly fades.
It is caused by trauma to the skin from blood collecting underneath but I never understood the specifics. If you do a search on the web for \"I got hyper-pigmentation after surgery\" you will get more info. I did that once and it was helpful. But I know for a fact that it goes away. I have had it on my Dick and my Balls. Next week is a year since my last surgery and I am about 65% back to normal. I imagine sometime before 2017 it will be gone.
The diagnosis of \"hemosiderin stain\" makes sense intellectually, but the conclusion that it is permanent is wrong.
I wouldn\'t stress, but from summer until now is the wrong time frame - it will be more likely be next fall when you will see resolution..

The ESL40 doesn\'t give you near enough of a pull to work, just my opinion. You need periods of more intense pull than that can give you.

Also you can use the sheath that is like a thick rubber that you get on the grip site, with the ESL40 too and it stays on longer and won\'t give you blisters. But, the grip is definitely my favorite - also just get the basic kit. The rest is a lot of BS stuff that you wont need.

Just get extra latex sleeves that go around the grip to create the vacuum, they wear out, and get extra of the rubber like things, as they are useful and stretch out over time.

Or, wait to see if you like the size you ordered, and then get more of the latex sheaths before you need them, so you don\'t have to stop and with for them to come.
