Questions About PMMA Before Committing 8 years 7 months ago #1288404787

Hello everyone. Thinking about pulling the trigger on PMMA. Have known for years will eventually do enhancement, and have read up the progress logs.

However it\'s been months since I\'ve been really into research and a lot of the stories have fled my mind, so please, I have read the stories etc. but i have a few questions that upon searching the past few days I cannot find exact answers to.

First, after PMMA what is the recovery situation. I know most say swelling is gone by day 5 or so, and full recovery is a week to 10 days, but does that mean you are laid up that long. Do I need to take time off work? If I get the procedure done Saturday, rest and stretch Sunday, can I go to work Monday? Do I need to keep it in the stretcher at work all week for 7-10. Can anyone whose gone through please explain how long you were incapacitated. Most of the posts just describe how long people waited to have sex/ masturbate, which is fine, but I am looking for more general info.

Which kind of goes to my second point. The PMMA is a liquid that apparently migrates for the first 24-48 hours. Upon reading patient reports I seem to see the phrase \"settling near the base\" a lot. does this mean the PMMA pools at the base of the penis, or even behind the penis in the groin area? If so, what are the best methods for combating this? Does massage and stretching alone work?

Any feedback is appreciated, but main question is, can I return to work after a day and a half following the procedure?

You aren\'t \"incapacitated\" at all. Hell, after my first round I walked straight from the doctor\'s office to a restaurant and had dinner with my wife. Then we went out exploring around town. As for settling near the base. That (in my opinion) is mostly due to retraction. You just have to massage it back to where it belongs the first day or two and keep an eye on it. And no, it doesn\'t go into your groin area. It is at the base of your penis.

The progress reports fled you mind because you didn\'t read shit. I recall facts from other members reports that I haven\'t read in over 2 years, but somehow.... they remain in my mind.

Want to know why? Because when humans read something they are INTERESTED in, they retain that information to recall in the future. And judging from the type of forum you\'re in, I\'d say your PENIS is something that you would be INTERESTED in. Which means, had you read ANY progress report, you\'d remember the facts that were covered. Not all, but things like SWELLING and TIME OFF from work would stick with you.

My advice, search better.... better yet. Just click any of the STICKY\'D threads of progress reports. You asshole.

Everyone is different, but the most annoying part of the recovery process for me was the constant bleeding / oozing out of the entry holes. I was changing gauze pads every hour and making sure everything was clean and had bacitracin on it. I did this in all 3 rounds, and it just got on my nerves because you have to also massage and keep it even / lump free while it\'s oozing / bleeding out of 6 holes. It didn\'t stop bleeding for 5-6 days for me. The swelling and bruising aren\'t going to keep you from working, but there\'s no way I could\'ve constantly changed the gauze and kept it stretched at work. I massaged it - but I also used a stretcher to prevent retraction from causing too much PMMA to build up at the base.

Retrospectively, I should\'ve cut up a maxi pad and just put that on and been done with it... i\'m not even joking. Tampons are used for bloody noses all the time. The endless changing of gauze drove me nuts.

Please take the time to read the posts. If you have read them before and have forgotten what they say, re-read them.
If that is too much trouble, then frankly you are not ready to undertake PMMA or any other procedure.

It does seem like you should take some more time to read additional progress reports. The answers to your questions are there. But, you are going in to see a doctor for a medical procedure. Dr C. and Wade will give you aftercare instructions (verbal and written). They are medical professionals. I followed their instructions and am very pleased with my outcome. Every body is different, however, that is the value of reading the vast and varied experiences on here. Good luck.

Basically, a vast majority of PMMA vets have spent weeks and months reading and re-reading progress reports, asking the right questions (the right questions would consist of any question but with the research you\'ve done showing you are genuinely studious about the topic) so all we really ask is that your path is lined with as much research as ours. We aren\'t here to hold your hand, but more then not we WILL help you make an informed decision.

Best of luck
