the glans is anatomically homologous to the clitoral glans of women, a mucous membrane that\'s similar to the vagina or mouth. The epithelium of the glans penis is mucocutaneous tissue. Hence, excessive washing with soap often dries the mucous membrane that covers the glans penis.

there seem to be many functions of the Foreskin and arguably one of the most important is keeping the glans moist and protected. All Circumcised men will end up with some degree of keratinisation of the glans from years of rubbing on clothing, bedsheets, etc. this usually results in a degree of decreased sensitivity. compare the look of the shiny pink glans of an uncut penis with the glans of a cut penis that has a duller, rougher appearance.

I\'ve heard some women talk about this subject and exclaim that they definitely prefer an uncircumcised man. Yet many women also seem to have the notion that cut is cleaner, yet to me there is a certain fallacy to this. Any part of a person\'s body won\'t be clean or smell too good if it\'s not cleaned well.

Foreskin restoration is possible and many swear by it, but I think you need some serious patience. but as Aristotle said, patience can be bitter but it\'s fruit is sweet.

I seem to have restored mine to about 85%, accidentally of course.

Smell is not an issue. I have increased sensitivity now though. Which is great.

I can concur with you hulk on the sensitivity - I wear a restoration cone on and off and I often wear it just as a cap over the glans to keep it from rubbing on underwear, and even after just one week of keeping it covered (day and night) I notice quite a difference. The glans looks healthier and is also more sensitive.

IMO I think cutting off part of boy\'s penis without his consent and understanding of what is being done, is nothing short of violent physical abuse, and its the most sensitive and private part of a man\'s body. We are born with a Foreskin for a reason, it\'s the idiotic humans that think they know better. When a doctor chops off part of a woman\'s vagina...rightfully there is outrage.

I have no objection to a man who \"chooses\" to have his Foreskin removed, but doing this to infants without their understanding or consent is way wrong.

If you look back into the history of the practice of Circumcision you will find some real horror stories. The Jews used to bite the Foreskin off and many young boy\'s died from the subsequent infections from the Rabbi\'s rotting teeth. When I was going through school I used to think Hydrogen was the most abundant element in the universe. Later I discovered it was stupidity.

I just think some guys have too much time on their hands. Im all for manual PE and surgery if needed, but this is on my being ridiculous list. If it got snipped off theres nothing you could/ should do. To me personally its just not aesthetic. But if you have it already, I dont think you should chop it off. And if you dont have it, I dont think you should spend your precious time trying to get it back. its silly. No ones biting off Foreskin these days so I think the babies will be fine. We evolve things dont have to stay the way they used to be 100\'s of years ago. Thats the beauty of the human race.

Best way to get that info is google it - there used to be a lot of restoration sites on the internet with several different techniques. Basically you are taping the skin before the glans over your glans and it grows with time as it stretches. The biggest pro that I have heard is that is greatly increases glans sentitivity
