Forgive my ignorance if this is a stupid question. I was wondering why a full lig cut is not possible? What are the negative consequences? Does anyone have a picture? I was wondering since many partial lig cuts have had less than stellar results. Thanks in advance.
The term full lig cut can be somewhat of a misnomer at times, When refering to a full lig cut it means to cut all of the \"suspensory\" ligaments, these ligament are what hold the penis in an upward position during an Erection, they are attatched to the pubic bone that runs along the under side of the body. There are also ligaments attatched to the pelvic floor muscles, Like hoddle said these ligaments would never be cut by any surgeon, it is the base attatchment point, without it, it would be like a broken bone floating under the skin, you would have no control of it, these muscles are also responsible for ejaculation, try kegaling and you will feel where they\'re at. You do still want to ejaculate don\'t you? I\'ve had my ligs cut and my Erection angle is about the same, your skin holds the penis up. As far as gains go you need to be very consistent with stretching, some people have lost length after a lig cut because the ligs no longer held the penis out of the body and retracted. If your thinking of having it done you need to ask yourself am I going to spend 2 hrs a day Hanging and then wearing an all day stretcher? if not then dont do it, you will be sorry.
Upon researching this a little further, I need to correct a few things I mentioned above, the pelvic floor muscles are directly attached to the penis, they are the ischiocavernosus and the bulbocavernosus, I did not find any ligaments attached to the penis other than the suspensory ligaments. The pelvic floor muscles are resposible for ejaculation and continence.
