Thanks, Dan.

You need to be careful with DMSO. Make sure your hands and penis and both clean before applying it.

I\'d start applying it once daily, then after a week or so twice daily. Ideally I think you should mix it with something like paba or iodine. I think the DMSO itself might have an effect but you might as well try adding some stuff to the mix as anythings worth a shot given your circumstances.

I think you need a 3 pronged attack though. DMSO, pumping/stretching and some meds such as Cialis and/or pentox. I just think you need to get as much blood flowing as possible to try and make things more pliable.

I am with you with about no more invasive surgeries and I was also only hoping for .5 inches to fill out the skin. I really need to reconsider what I am doing, I would be devastated if I fucked things up at this point as I am basically happy with it as it improves everyday.

I have an appoint booked for early May with Dr. C I may use it as a consultation so i can get out of NYC.

When you say that your skin is wrinkled or lose, is it in folds?, just really lax? or wrinkled like a sheet? My can go through any of those stages or look perfectly normal. When I have an erection it looks fine, just flaccid it looks bad. Thanks in advance.

Erect mine looks fine. Well the skin looks fine, I have some other issues that make it look not so good in general.

When flaccid mine can be both wrinkled and loose. If my penis isn\'t plump with a little blood, the skin can be a bit baggy. If I take a cialis it makes a big difference. So that tells me a little more volume to the actual shaft would go a long way to solving my issue\'s. But PMMA doesn\'t seem to work like that. It seems to stick to the skin as much as the shaft, hence it doesn\'t look good on guys with loose skin.

I\'ve always been against dermal matrix grafts as I\'ve seen so many problems with the over the years. But a lot of that has to do with blood supply. To get a decent gain the surgeon has to either layer graft material or wrap it right the way around the penis. Combined with a long incision at either end, it makes blood supply issues a strong possibility.

However, I think I only need a small gain, in order to plump out the skin and fix my adhesions issue. A half inch gain would be enough for me and would do the same as Cialis. The advantage of this is that it would allow the surgeon to use much less graft material, so there would be no need to wrap all the way around or layer it. Also the graft wouldn\'t have to be so thick and the incisions required would me much smaller. So it dramatically reduces the risk.

When I consulted with Dr Solomon he suggested 3mm graft material and two thin strips on either side of the penis. This would mean much less invasive surgery and the grafts would be able to get blood supply from all sides. The healing period is also shorter and less intense.

I don\'t think I have many options and doing nothing isn\'t one of them, as I\'m so embarrassed about the state of my penis and have been for over 20 years. In an ideal world I\'d probably go and have PMMA like most others, but given my skin issues, I just can\'t see it producing a good result. There is no way I\'m having fat injected again. So while I\'ve heard of lots of guys having issues with grafts and even Dr Solomon patients, I just think it\'s still the only real option for me.

We\'ve got a member who has had the surgery I\'m looking at. He had a thicker graft material, but other than that it\'s the same. You can see how much less invasive it is than other graft surgeries and that only small incisions are used to slide strips of graft material along the shaft. It\'s obviously not ideal for those looking for huge gains, but there is no way I\'d consider a full graft surgery, as they are just too risky in my opinion and my penis has been through enough. But this seems like a good compromise option.

I\'m in pretty much the same boat. I could just about live with the size I am now, but the issue I have it skin adhesions and loose skin. I\'d be very skeptical about PMMA for fixing this issue, as it doesn\'t seem to work well with mobile skin. I think if the skin is loose there is a good chance of having an issue like the member in this thread, who had Alloderm removed and then PMMA:

Hi thanks for the input - gaining size is not my biggest issue I realize, I\'d be sort of happy to have a natural penis at this point. I just don\'t want all that skin. I don\'t want anymore surgery or grafts, so maybe I will leave it / or fly down to Dr. C for an in person consult. BUT I really don\'t want to make anymore mistakes! Thanks again.

I\'m in a similar situation to you Hunkydory, as I have loose skin after fat Removal. My penis looks pretty terrible because of it. Personally I don\'t think PMMA is the best route, as I don\'t think it will work very well on extra loose skin. Last week I consulted with Dr Solomon about having some dermal matrix grafts inserted. For guys in our position, I think it\'s probably the best/only option. In your case, I\'d probably not do anything. You\'ve gained an Inch over your natural size anyway, so maybe it\'s best to quit while you ahead. I\'ve got some other issues that only a graft can really fix, so in my case, I don\'t see any other option, other than leave things as they are, which to me isn\'t an option.

I am so glad you are coming through this and getting better! It looks like it was quite and ordeal. Thanks for sharing with us.

And your last statement \"don\'t do any of this lightly\" is so true. I think that too often we look at the opportunity and see only the good sides and sort of block out the stuff we don\'t want to see or think about.

Update: It has been over 2 months since I had the dermal fat Removal - and hopefully this will help somebody out there who needs to have a graft removed in the future. The good is that I look surprisingly well 2 months out and I am sure I will look even better 2 months from now; I also gained 1\" in Girth - I am not sure if that is scar tissue or where it came from, but my penis is pliable and soft and bigger than before I had the graft insertion 20 years ago.

Currently I am at about 7.25\" (1.25 of that is from a year and a half of Hanging and stretching almost 20 years ago. I lost some length over the years, but it all came back after the graft was removed); and 6\" at the base (5.5 at the glans) - like I said I have no idea where the Girth came from and the swelling has been gone for a month now. I used to have a Girth of 4\"+ before the DFG surgery insertion, I don\'t remember exactly. I should add that I had the lig. cut as well when I had the grafts inserted. It instantly added Flaccid length and no Erect length. The fact that it took me a year and a half to get my extra Erect length makes me think that the surgery had nothing to do with it. It does make you stop Turtling however, not really worth a surgery however, IMO.The bad is that I my skin is wrinkled and I doubt it is ever going away, there is just to much skin to ever look smooth the way it did. Also I never told anyone about my DFG surgery and I don\'t know how to explain what happened to my penis; both to people I have slept with (lots) and even guys at the gym where I have been undressing everyday in a locker room for 20 years.Half of me is completely comfortable with what I have and just want to move on and never think about PE again, and the other half feels like I need to do something about this and get a round of PMMA to fill the skin so it is not so wrinkled, I look like I have the penis of a 100 year old man sometimes; and then also I will not have to explain to anyone why my penis went from super thick to what I have now. It seems like a small thing but it is awfully personal and I don't want to discuss it with sex partners or act like nothing happened and ignore it either. I have an appointment a month from now for PMMA which gives me a month to figure it out.

I am posting some pictures. All the irregularities are going away - most noticeably the darkened skin color, scarring is healing, shape is more normal than it has been in years, erections no problem etc. For 8 weeks out I am pretty satisfied. Mostly I hope this helps other people from freaking out who go through this as it gets really ugly before it gets better. This was me at my best 5 years after the DFG surgery and showing it off all the time.

If I can find a pic of it contracted and hardened 15 years later I will post - it was a mess.

These were taken 2 weeks after the surgery, so already much improvement since the surgery day:

These are taken 2 weeks later and 1 month after the surgery:

I also had a wound separation, which healed on its own. I was told to blast the nonviable white tissue that grows in it with the showerhead and let the white skin break up and wash away. I did this twice a day and it has healed well.

This was taken 2 months after the surgery and looks and feels much better. (The skin around the glans where it was sewn shut is a little tough). My Dick is usually 5 shades lighter and this happened after the DFG surgery too. It took about 8 months to go back to it\'s normal shade. I am not sure why that happens.) The scar around the glans is also exaggerated but was after my first surgery and healed perfectly.

That is a lot of Dick to look at, lol, sorry - but I really hope this helps somebody someday. I was so depressed when my grafts hardened, and I didn\'t have the money to take them out for 4 years. It was really traumatic, my Dick looked really odd and I was sexless and dateless for all that time. Then the healing is also traumatic and I often thought that I had ruined myself for life. It is sort of working out, Which is the moral of this story and don\'t do any of this lightly as there are frequently consequences. Best D.

I finally had my fibrotic grafts removed as it currently hurts like hell. I caught a short glimpse of my old/new Dick and it surprisingly got longer almost instantaneously once it was out - but also much thinner - there is some massively wrinkled skin that hopefully will retract some. I will either need a skin reduction or a Girth enhancement. I was told that dermal fat grafts are not done anymore as they usually die after 4-6 years. I am uploading a pic for anyones reference - it is pretty gross.
FYI I went to Dr Reed who was great. I\'ll take a Dick pic in a week or 2. It hurts too much to look at right now.

I am going down to Miami to see Dr. Reed next Thursday to have the dermal fat grafts removed - I have had them for almost 2 decades.
Either I\'ll have PMMA after I heal, or Belladerm at the same time he removes the graft possibly, or later. I am leaning towards PMMA but can\'t decide. The Belladerm seems like it has a similar arc to the dfg\'s in terms of going fibrotic.
I am getting really nervous about all the stories of shrinkage and nerve damage I have heard from people who have had the silicones implants removed - and the size of the pocket that will be left after the Removal. Dr. C said if it is too big PMMA does not work. This has happened rarely but has happened. I\'ll take before and after graft pics / and before and after reconstruction pics. Ugh.

So I have been putting 70% DMSO/ 30% aloe on it twice a day. I definitely have much harder erections which is not what I was expecting at all. It does seem to be having an effect on the graft and my penis hangs more (also not something I was expecting). I do feel like there is more blood flow to my penis, almost certainly.

I am going to Mexico on the 25th of February and will get the PMMA added to the graft to smooth out the contours. Mostly I am logging this so if there is someone else who comes to this with hardened dermal fat grafts like mine, they will have some info on the subject.

I don\'t have pics from before I had surgery done - 1993 or so.
I do have pics since the dfg / lengthening surgery when it was healthy and I\'ll post one of those (attached); plus a current shot - need to take - and hopefully I\'ll have a decent after PMMA shot as well.
