TOPIC: 12 month appraisal of PMMA

12 month appraisal of PMMA 10 years 6 months ago #1279786810

Coming up for 12 months since my first PMMA session. I had a top up since in April 2013. I am interested to hear from others who have had the procedure. I remember reading somewhere that after 3 months one loses some of the gains. I don\'t know but I find this is happening after 6 months. Anyone with knowledge of or has similar experience, please chime in.

Have you seen a measurable decrease in size after the 6 month marker (presumably in the Erect state)? I ask because it\'s been observed that some members tend to think they have lost size due to penis dysmorphia, when in actuality there was zero change in size when a measuring tape was pulled out.

That being said, most of the initial \"size loss\" is the complete dissipation of swelling, anything beyond that is hard to explain (could be the collagen becoming denser and thus giving the appearance of lost size, or any number of speculated guesses).

No, Skeptical One, there has definitely been a measurable loss in Girth also noticeable in the Flaccid state, this did not happen at 3 months but at 6.

Out of interest, did you find your measurements to be consistent since after first month when swelling went completely down? I hope to have another top up soon so will check with Dr C and Wade what their experience is.

I think Dr Sammy Passy asks patients to wait 6 months between sessions, as changes can still be occurring even then. With most surgical procedures patients are told swelling can persist for up to a year, though it\'s hard to tell it\'s there. This is why so often people who have rhinoplasty think their result is final after 3 months, only to see the nose shrink over the coming months. I know PMMA isn\'t surgery, but none the less, a canula is repeatedly pushed up and down the shaft. This must be very traumatic. So it wouldn\'t surprise me in the slightest if some patients noticed shrinkage a year or more later. I suspect the PMMA tissue itself a stable in a relatively short space of time. But swelling in unpredictable, can be totally undetectable and last for long periods of time.

Thanks, Hoddle, that makes sense. Would be nice to have some PMMA veterans input too.

As I understand it from some readings and from Dr C, the collagen tissue generated due to PMMA presence is dynamic. In a sense, it is always changing some small amount due tissue regeneration, age, health, EQ..etc! So I would theorize that the PMMA penis Girth is almost always changing some amount, how much I do not know. but I DO know that I have lost some Girth in the last 2 months after been stable since my last 4th round about 9 months ago. I know I have lost about 0.2\" of Erect Girth all over the shaft and I am actually quite happy with this change since I think that my Girth of over 7\" was a but too much for the small ladies I prefer to go with. I will be going for a correction session in the next few months, but only for aesthetics.
