TOPIC: PMMA & Glans Enlargement

I read on a different post that Dr. C is exploring glans enlargement via PMMA. I am sure it is a little ways down the road, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything? I don\'t feel that I need it, but it is extremely interesting and something I may consider if it comes with good aesthetics and low complications.

Wade talked about it during my first session. He said it causes \"flowering\" of the glans, so they don\'t use PMMA in the head of the penis. If I remember correctly.

Maybe what you read was someone saying Dr C was considering going to Korea to learn what they are doing over there?

Yes, there was word (there is a thread somewhere here on it) that the South Koreans had developed an effective technique for filler enhancement of the glans. I mentioned it to Wade by phone and even forwarded him some links posted (by Smartman I think). He mentioned a serious interest and that it was ultimately Dr. C\'s call whether or not to travel to the Korea peninsula to acquire training for this innovation technique. I have no knowledge indicating that this has or will happen. I do know that Dr. C still holds reservations on applying fillers in the glans area, and there is no telling how prone to complication this new method is until further analysis. We\'ll just have to see.

We have nearly 20 pages in the General Phalloplasty Discussion forum, which only perpetuates the laziness for newer members to search and/or browse. I\'ve done some inactive-thread cleaning but got plenty more to go, but in the meantime we really ought to be cognizant of how redundancy saturates the forum in a negative way. Thanks.

I spoke with Dr C and Wade very recently and it sounded certain that they are going to South Korea to learn about the procedure. Whether they come back willing to offer this procedure, or just more knowledgeable about it in general is yet to be determined.

IM very excited about the procedure. They\'d make even move of a killing if they can offer this.
