LONG TERM PMMA SIDE EFFECTS 10 years 10 months ago #1278258442

i\'ll start by introducing myself. i am a PMMA prospect so to speak. Ive been on this board for quite sometime now observing/gaining information regarding PMMA with consideration of possibly taking the plunge. I spoke briefly with a well known dr in mexico regarding PMMA for penile enhancement. This particular dr is not well versed in penile enhancement, however he is held in high regard by many and has performed many cosmetic procedures. lipo, tummy tuck, fat transfer, ect.... his work on women is pretty good. seen him transform a couple of women dancers that i know personally.

so when i asked him about PMMA for penile enhancement this is what he said verbatim.

\"The PMMA is not safe in any part of the body if more than 10cc are used, as it creates scar tissue and that scar tissue usually creates problems with the blood supply, the complications are not seeing for the first 4 or 5 years, then they star to show, like nodules, indurations, hard areas, discoloration, etc. Patients who just had it done recently will be happy, but in few more years then they will start with the complications. If you just want a filler for that particular area I recommend you the JUVEDERM VOLUMA, it last for about 18 months and it goes away. You need to be sure the PMMA you are getting is approved to be used for cosmetic purposes, in Mexico the only one approved is Artecoll and it comes in small syringes of 1cc each, not to be used in large amounts. Dr. Casavantes had used many fillers in the last 10 years, and it keeps changing once the patients start getting problems. You should consider Dr. Daniel Camacho in Tijuana, he is a Plastic Surgeon that perform those procedures.\"

thoughts anyone? i know there are a couple of veterans like mustang and gsxr on the boards that has had PMMA procedure done a while back. has anyone here on the boards had PMMA for at least 5 years? side effects? or is this response from this dr just hate?
