I\'ve just had my 1st round one week ago. I\'m very happy so far and now thinking towards my 2nd round. I\'ve searched the forums and cannot find much info regarding time to wait between rounds.
I asked Wade what was best and he simply said that 6 weeks was the minimum. I have found many members here who have had just 6 weeks between rounds and seem to have good results in terms of gains and aesthetics.
I\'d like to understand the pros and cons of going early against waiting a little longer. I\'d really like to know what is optimal in terms of gains, aesthetics, safety etc.
I know that some people are going to say its fine to go early and others will say that you must wait longer. But please, please can you explain the reason behind whatever you\'re suggesting.
I\'m taking a guess that the main reason to wait longer would be due to collagen continuing to grow from your previous round. Surely you want to know that the collagen has finished growing before you get the next lot put over the top? If you go in at 6 weeks for round 2 and they make you look perfect, but your round 1 collagen continues to grow in somewhat uneven fashion, it may be that you end with poor aesthetics. (I\'m not so worried about this given that I had only 10% on round 1)
I\'m wondering whether another reason to wait longer would be to let your penis rest and heal after the trauma of the previous round.
Besides these 2 points, I don\'t know any other reason to wait beyond 6 weeks.
I\'ll really appreciate your input on this one as I\'m keen to book my appointment and my flights asap.
Imperfections may still show up 2 months or more after the procedure. It would seem best to wait until as much of the \'side effects\' are revealed as possible so you can address them in the next round. That being said we are all impatient right? Personally, I\'m waiting 15 weeks between appointments which puts me at 5/29 for a trip to TJ!
I understand why the aesthetics will be better if you wait longer. That makes good sense to me.
I see from your previous posts that you have a fairly deep understanding of the science beind this procedure and others like it. Would you be able to explain why your overall gains will be increased if you wait longer. Is it the case that once you have a 2nd round, the 1st round can no longer grow so much?
Lets say for example I have gained half an Inch at 6 weeks but still had another quarter Inch to gain from collagen. I thought that after I get round 2, that quarter Inch from round 1 will still appear in ADDITION to the gains from round 2. Is this not correct?
The implant settles over time and some Girth will be lost. By waiting, you are allowing your penis to finalize shape and size. That way, during your subsequent round, the doctor will better be able to correct any anomalies and your skin will have stretched some to allow room for more product. It is hard to wait but one can open \"Pandora\'s Box\" by not allowing adequate recovery time and additional time for the settling process to complete. As messageman has stated, \"It\'s a marathon, not a sprint\".
