Welcome to the board. I\'ve noticed that, in the 3hrs that you\'ve been a member, your activities have been limited to finding Elist-related threads and posting dissenting warnings about Elist. While I, and I\'m sure most of us, would agree with your sentiments, I\'m curious about what has prompted these posts. Have you had any personal experience with Elist? Did he operate on you, or a partner?

I will try thank you. I will follow his direction until I have no other choice but to remove it (not that having it in is making it any better). How long was your recovery after the Removal? Did you need a drainage bag again? I\'ll have to fly back into LA to have it removed but I\'m just worried about timing.

When my implant suddenly became infected, I had to travel from Tokyo to LA literally the next day. Dr. Elist took the implant out for free, but he performed the surgery in his examination room with his nurse as an assistant (unprofessional to say the least). . To minimize the pain, I believe he gave me opiates in some tea..oh yes...his secretary/nurse acted as his assistant during the procedure. It (of course) hurt like hell.

He gave me a battery operated Penis Pump at the end of the procedure to use... But charged me $700.00 for it. It\'s retail price (I later found out) was $150.00. What an asshole.

As I mentioned in my previous post, after the Removal of the implant, my penis retracted 2 inches (I was incredibly distraught over this), but after 3 months of stretching, pumping, and Hanging I was able to gain back 3 inches...So in the end my length increased one Inch over my Pre implant length...What\'s more, the remaining \"capsule\" (scar tissue) left me with an extra 3/4 inches over my Pre implant Girth.

Though I went through hell, I ended up an Inch longer and 3/4 of an Inch thicker with the implant removed..
I know first-hand how distraught and depressed you must feel right now, but I really believe that this will eventually be taken care of successfully, and you will
be able to get on with your life. Try to remain positive....

Truth be told I will most likely be forced to live like this for another year before I can find the time, let alone money, to fix this unless something goes horribly wrong and my life is in jeapordy.

Trust me, it couldn\'t get much worse as it is now, I am the definition of a choad. Short and increadibly thick at nearly 8.5\" at the very base. It\'s gross to look at (has a hunchback near the \"tip\" to boot) and I wouldn\'t put that it near any woman.

I hear ya hoodie and I really appreciate yours and everyone\'s responses. I\'m sure it\'s happened before to many others I\'m just feeling very scared and alone here.I hate what I did to myself, I was good enough as is just going through some turbulent life changes and acted rashly. Now I feel as though I\'m reaping what I have sewn, just deserts, etc. and I have no time or means to rectify the problem.

I\'m not sure if you will get charged as I\'ve never had the implant.

It\'s very possible you will regain your original length. If you are sufficiently determined I\'d say it\'s most likely you will. You can stretch post op and this alone is enough in a lot of cases. If that doesn\'t work then you can have surgery to remove scar tissue and get their length back. Also keep in mind not everyone who has had the implant removed has lost length and some have gained Girth due to the scar tissue.

I can understand you are stressed and depressed, but you situation isn\'t anything new and many guys have made a fully recovery.

I\'m surprised less people have posted in this thread to offer you advise, as lots of our members have been in your situation. The trouble is most of the time our members move on with their lives and tend not to log on very often.

Keep checking the thread and send out some PMs.

I had the implant removed (due to infection) three years ago. I was able to regain my pre implant length (plus .75 inches) 3 months later. Some others who have had it removed haven\'t been so lucky.
Consulting another reputable doctor such as Dr. Alter (as suggested by Hoddle) is a good idea.

If you wish to PM me, please do. I know firsthand the suffering you are having to endure.
And lastly, hoddle\'s advice about not worrying (too much) is a good one. It will get better.

If There weren\'t children solely dependent on me I don\'t know what I would do. It has affected me mentally that badly in the past 6 months... I would greatly appreciate any advice. Dr. Elist told me there is a solution which I could I inject at the pubic area where the incision is to release the implant. Is this advisable? I\'m scared to do anything he asks at this point...

Don\'t rush into anything. If you\'ve had the implant in for 6 months already, I\'d imagine all the scar tissue that is going to form, will have done so. Therefore, seeing as you haven\'t reported any infection, then there is no need to rush into a course of treatment.

You are understandably anxious and concerned, but your penis is all still there, you just have a combination of silicone and scar tissue preventing it from reaching it\'s normal length.

It is probably worth consulting with a couple of other urologists before you consider what ever options Elist has proposed. The go to guy among PE surgery victims has been Gary Alter, but recently a guy called Dr Gelman has been mentioned and those who have consulted with him seem to be impressed.

Ultimately the message is try no to worry. Many have been in your position before and come through it. Check this thread regularly as we have plenty former Elist patients who are members and over the coming weeks I\'m sure more will chime in and offer advise based on their experience.

My advice is to have that dildo taken out of your penis as soon as possible. Do not let Dr. Elist perform any other surgical procedures on you; the man is a sociopath.'
I can\'t believe this guy still has a medical license. It\'s 'unfathomable 'and really shakes my trust in the medical profession .

But this is getting beyond ridiculous now. Something has to be done about Dr Elist. He must be stopped.

Unfortunately many of his victims that posted at the old PB\'s and MNS haven\'t joined here. Also many that have no longer post. So even though the numerous accounts of terrible experiences with the Elist and his implant that are here to act as a deterrent, alone they don\'t demonstrate the full scale of the devastation this man has caused. I think his victims should set up a blog \"The vicitms of Dr James Elist\" and make sure it gets to the top of Elist related internet searches.

Typing the doctor\'s name in Google puts PhalloBoards up at top, so the combined reporting & efforts of his botched patients have already begun to \"pay off.\" But I agree, given the neutrality of this forum, it would be most advisable for Elist patients to unite under a blog project which will certainly move its way up search engine rankings.
