Hi guys, I have been member of this forum since early 2011.At the begining o early last year, you could read about new forum member going through the PMMA injection almost every week. However, the last couple of months, I barely see new member seeing dr C for PMMA. What has happened?why has the rate of people going for PMMA declined dramatically? Cheers

We used to have more members online at any time than lurkers. Now we have up to 20 times as many lurkers viewing the forum at any one time, than members. I think in the old days, when there were fewer members and there was a greater sense of familiarity and it seemed like we were on a journey of discovery together, people almost felt obliged to share their experiences. But now the vast majority of people don\'t even register and of those that do, most never make a single post.

Basically I think these days, people look at old photos and find the answers to their questions by reading, so don\'t feel the need to share or even register. I actually find it really annoying, as we are still in the very early stages with the PMMA procedure. We need as much detail as possible, from as many people as possible. This forum offers so much good information and for free, so you\'d think the least people could do is to start a progress thread and drop by to update it every month or so.

The Mods have discussed way to encourage greater interaction and hopefully we\'ll put some of these into place.

What he said.

Given the kind of numbers tossed around regarding how many procedures Dr. C is doing a day / or has done over the past 1-2 years, suggest that there are AT LEAST FIVE TIMES as many Non-Reporting Lurkers as there are actual Progress Reporters! Keyword: At least.
