TOPIC: Dr. Reed/ Miami

there\'s been a thread started in the patient support thread... thought I\'d drop it in the \'general\' category: Anyone have experience with DR. Reed? I am considering the testicular enhancement, but others are curious about his lig cut procedures as well as allo/bella and possibly FFT? I would greatly appreciate any feedback on the testicular as he appears to be the only alternative to the greatly contested Elist implants- Oh... to the moderator(s)- I post this question here because it seems the testicular thread gets no new visitors or feedback. I hope you allow this line of inquiry to remain under the general discussion forum for better exposure. Thanks again.

Has the decrease in Erection angle impacted you in any way? I\'ve heard some guys complain of problems with certain positions like girl on top riding i.e. slipping out, etc.

Would you recommend the procedure?

Nope, I didn\'t hang before surgery. I tried pumping for a while but didn\'t see any gains from that.

There was a slight decrease in Erection angle. It is about 10 degrees lower than before.

Did you hang a good bit prior to the lig snip or make any gains prior to surgery?

I ask because I gained .5\" with the Bib and haven\'t been able to gain any more for the last year. I have a sneaking suspision that manual PE may exhaust gains making lig snip gains hard to achieve. I\'m hoping to hear that others have gained with manual PE, plateaud, and then gone on to make furthur gains after surgery as soma did. What\'s your take?

Also did you notice any change in Erection angle post snip?

I gained 3/8\" FL immediately from surgery, then another 3/8\" with 6 months of Hanging. EL gain was 1/4\" immediately, then another 1/4\" after six months. The Hanging gains were very gradual and not really measurable until about 2 months in. It was hard to stay committed!

I started about 2 weeks after surgery with really light weights - about 1/4 lb then gradually moved up slowly to 8 lbs by the end. I used the bib Hanger with the Therawrap. It really stays put. I would hang two hours in the morning before work and then two hours after I got home at night (andwas single at the time). I took occaisonal breaks for business trips, etc.

Its been about 4.5 years and the gains have remained. I now have PMMA and will post my results in a month or so once it all settles in....but so far, so good.

How much weight were you Hanging for 4 hrs a day. Was it not brutal on your glans? Kudos on keeping that up for 6 months. Would you mind sharing your routine/system or any tips that kept you Hanging that long without giving up?

Lastly, did all of the Erect gains come gradually or did you reach .5\" well before 6 months?

Florida- Have you had your testosterone or sperm levels checked before after the procedure? Has anyone alluded to this fact with the elist implant? Dr. Reed told me the same thing- he had installed several of the cup shaped implants and discovered complications with t levels and sperm count, as well as potential Atrophy. I wonder if Elist has had similiar findings. I\"m sure we will never know cuz he would never share... The desire to have testicular enhancement is identical to the compulsion to have PE- and likely safer if one thinks about potential complications. Dr. Reed\'s comments do concern me. Florida/anyone with testicular implants: what was the size of your testicles before the implants?

why would you guys even consider getting testicl enlargement? I don\'t get why you would put yourself through risk of complications just to have bigger testicles.

That is what Dr. Reed told me 5 years ago when he was using the cups that are similar to Elist\'s. He tested several patients 6 months after surgery and their sperm counts and testosterone levels went down. It makes sense because the testes are normally at a lower temperature than the rest of the body and the cups must retain heat.

After learning this he said he won\'t do them now on anyone with normal sized testes or anyone wishing to have children in the future. He only does them on guys whose testes are no longer functioning due to age, injury or testosterone use. I think instead of cups he is using solid silicone implants these days.

Why do you say that the testicle implants impair testosterone production and sex drive? Can you reference any reading material?

After 6 months of training, the gain was about .5\" Erect and .75 Flaccid. I hung weights 4 hours a day, then after 6 months stopped completely because of a new relationship.

Was your 0.5 Inch gain in Erect or Flaccid state? And did you have to do a Hanging routine after the surgery?

I had a lig cut with Dr. Reed years ago....he is a good urological surgeon and I am pleased with the result. He told me I would get about 0.5inches and that is just about what I got.
I considered alloderm with him but was weirded out when he couldn\'t provide photographic proof of long term results or give me a reference. As far as testicular enhancement with implants, I don\'t think this should be considered by anyone who counts on his nuts to produce children or testosterone or a sex drive. If you are already on HRT and your nuts have shrunk, then maybe it is OK, but otherwise you are playing with fire.
