TOPIC: Elanse vs Bellafil : besides how long it lasts

I know one is know to be more permanent, but why do I feel like 90% of the guys on here go for Bellafill. I almost never see results from someone having Ellanse, even less than HA. Anyone wants to share their opinion ?

Ellanse isn’t legal in the US, so it makes sense it wouldn’t be as well documented on the forums. The only place you can get Ellanse in North America is Avanti Derma in Mexico. Most people going there are getting Linneasafe PMMA, but we do get a few reports from people getting Ellanse there. If it was available in the US, I probably would have gone down that route. The US equivalent is Radiesse which seems to have a much shorter lifespan. I had it and mine was basically gone after 9 months.

Thanks for your reply, it makes sense. I also had Radiesse and it didnt last at all and all I heard about Ellanse its quite permanent. So I was wondering for the guys going to AD why choosing a route that has, from what I understand, more chances of granulomas or immune reaction.. Im still debating which one to choose and would really like to know other than the legal aspect, is there one better than the other.

I believe the Ellanse L which everyone loved because it lasted basically forever was removed from the market. No one knows yet if Ellanse M will last nearly as long.
