TOPIC: Disappointing P Long Provider Experience

I intended to complete p long protocol in 2025. I purchased the pump and traction device through Dr. Brandeis’ office. I was encouraged when I found a physician locally who was a so called approved provider for the P Long protocol.

My first appointment the local provider seemed completely clueless about the actual protocol, but I went ahead and booked my first prp shot and reached out to Dr Brandeis’ office for guidance but to no avail . The cost of the p shot was closer to $2,000 for one shot, well above the advertised rate. Second, the local doctor told me I was to avoid pumping and that pumping was dangerous for the penis. I made several attempts to reach Dr. Brandeis and emailed his office several times with no return call.

It’s very disappointing to know how little training Dr. Brandeis is actually providing these so called approved providers. I have a high pain tolerance and the p shot was a 10 out of 10 pain. I also saw very little in the way of results from the p shot itself.

Like most PE you are on your own if you want to follow the protocol and the cost will be well north of $10K if you want a prp shot once a month.

I can’t believe they endorse provides who are literally telling you to avoid the very exercises that are crucial to the p long protocol. This was a terrible experience. There’s no actual vetting of the providers in their network. @P-Long

I am sincerely sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. While we provide comprehensive training and protocols to all providers, we rely on them to execute the procedure according to our guidelines. When performed correctly with ultrasound guidance, a penile PRP injection should rank extremely low on the pain scale (typically a 1 out of 10), so I am very sorry that this was not the case for you.

Regarding the cost, P-Long cannot dictate what independent providers charge for their services; however, for reference, PRP injections at my own office are $950. We do provide all clinics with detailed brochures and video tutorials via QR codes to ensure they have access to the correct techniques.
