Hey guys,

So I'm considering getting HA filler but I just stumbled on a post that said you have a higher risk of developing granuloma's if you have an autoimmune disease.

I have SLE Lupus but my condition has always been considered mild or almost non-existent. It doesn't affect me physically like it normally affects Lupus patients with disease flares. I have had Shingles 2x, 1x in my 30's and 1x in my 40's, which is uncommon for those ages but I've gotten the vaccine for that now. That's about as much as it has affected me.

Would you guys say it's highly not recommended for somebody like to still get HA filler?

Not a Dr but I also have an autoinflammatory (autoimmune) condition that causes systemic inflammation. I had tons of HA and no issues. A granuloma with HA is easily dissolved. I wouldn’t sweat it
