TOPIC: PMMA Post-Procedure Questions/Worry

I got PMMA done (15 syringes) 4 days ago. After I returned back to my place (~1.5 hours) I noticed that my underwear was completely soaked with fluid. I didn’t notice this during my travel because the area was numbed. The fluid smelled medicinal to me and had some blood as well. I shrugged this off as normal for the procedure since there was so much fluid injected into the area.

Fast forward to now - 4 days after 15 syringes I am less than .25 inches larger in Girth, and to be honest, that’s a generous estimate as i last measured a few days ago when it was still swollen. It looks basically the exact same as pre procedure plus bruising. Based on all the research I’ve done, with 15 syringes I should already be at least 1 Inch larger.
I called the office back and they said it wasn’t too out of the ordinary and that it should get up to an Inch larger once the collegen starts to form. They said it was highly unlikely that it was PMMA leaking out and that it was most likely fluid from the traumatic injury that was inflicted on the sensitive area. I am skeptical since all the results I’ve seen posted here are basically immediate and the smell of the liquid was medicinal. I’m afraid I just spent thousands and almost all of it leaked out on my way back from the procedure.
Has anyone had similar results that got better with time? I’m pretty depressed about it. Thanks in advance for the insights.

It's unlikely you lost much product, most of what gets pushed out is lymphatic fluid. Fillers are very viscous and the entry points are very small.

It's true that some of the clinics that do Bellafill (which I assume is what you got) say that 15 syringes will give you an Inch and there have even been a couple people here who reported something like that. But that's always seemed optimistic to me. There's a lot more Avanti reports and half an Inch for 20cc is pretty common. A typical round there might be 13cc 30% and 7cc 10%. An equivalent amount of Bellafill, which is 20% and comes in 0.8cc syringes, would be 28.75 syringes. So IMO a quarter Inch seems reasonable.

That is what the place told me on the phone as well. You are correct though, I got Bellafill. This is really interesting to hear - from all the results I've seen, people got immediate results from this doctor and someone I was messaging gained 1.75 in. from 25 syringes. Not saying you're wrong though (as you really seem like you know what you're talking about), I'm just surprised with the .25 gain from 15 is all. I appreciate your response though man - I'm gonna try not to freak out about it anymore and just give it time and massage the product around. I paid 8k for this, so it's def a hit to the wallet and I just expected more results like others have gotten from the same doctor at this point.

99% chance he went to Rupeka i got massive gains from 15 syringes something about .25 gain dont make sense. The gains are immediate with Bellafill because your injected with this bovine matrix that gives immediate volume then as its breaking down it gets replaced with collagen. Hopefully you will get your Inch but soaked underwear its not something i heard of or experienced.
