TOPIC: Had HA filler (brief summary)

I recently finished HA girth enhancement with Front Door Med Spa in Rochester, Michigan. There aren’t many providers in SE Michigan. I researched the few that are here and a few others around the country. I wasn’t opposed to traveling for the procedure, but preferred a local provider. Upon my consultation with Front Door and Dr. Theresa LaBranche, I was convinced this is who I would use.

I had three rounds (initial round with 13 syringes, round two with 4 syringes, and last round with 3 syringes used for final touch ups). The first round used 10 Syringrs of Juvederm Voluma mixed with 3 syringes of another brand I can’t remember. Both the second and third rounds used all Voluma.

The doctor (Dr Theresa LaBranche) is fantastic. She is extremely detailed. I had very very little bruising on round one and virtually none on rounds 2 and 3. Total time for all rounds was spread over about 7 weeks. I just finished round 3 a couple weeks ago.

I did have a little migration of filler after round one. My fault due to my shitty wrapping technique and doing slightly strenuous physical work the couple days after the procedure. It resulted in a larger ring just behind the glans. My wife loved the feeling though, so I had doc dissolve a tiny bit of it simply for aesthetics, but mostly left it for wife’s pleasure. Round two was used to even things out, add girth at the base, and on one side had a slight deformity (again from my wrapping technique). The Dr prefers to eject filler when erect (as she seems to get better aesthetic results), but my round two had to be done flaccid. Even with the injection to cause an erection, I couldn’t maintain it. Probably due to exhaustion (I had been working a lot the previous week and was severely lacking in sleep). Round three was also done erect. She addressed a couple areas for aesthetics, attempted to add fill at circumcision scar but couldn’t really get any in there, and added a little more girth. The process for each visit is the same. Several pictures are taken before procedure. Then numbing cream is used in a couple areas for injection spots for a numbing shot and a shot to get and maintain an erection. Once numb, the erection shot is given. Once erect, the numbing shot is given. Then, finally, more numbing cream on entire penis. Once completely numb and erect (overall about 30-45 minutes after pics are taken), filler is injected. She uses an Ultraviolet light or something (can’t remember what she called it) that lets her see where all the veins are so she can avoid them during filler injections. She used a cannula for distribution. She is very methodical and deliberate with filler placement. After procedure, she wraps everything, and demonstrated to me how to wrap it and what my aftercare should be (which I didn’t really follow perfectly which resulted in a little migration).

The biggest and most difficult issue with aftercare is the waiting. I literally wanted to test drive my new tool the first night. I waited though, as torturous as it was. My wife also wanted to test drive it. Ultimately, my gains ended up being greater than planned. Dr LaBranche guaranteed 1” of gain based on the package I bought. Due to my migration though and the development of the ring behind my glans which was larger than the 1” gain, and the fact that I told her my wife loved that thickness, the doc decided that it was a good target, but we agreed that dissolving a tiny bit of it for aesthetics was necessary and that we could always add more back in a later round if needed. During rounds 2 and 3, we used the larger ring as the base measurement to match the rest of the shaft to.

As of now, after round 3, I have a couple areas that I might want to address in the future simply to strive toward an aesthetically near perfect appearance. As it looks now, I have a slight curve to the left, which I always had, but because I seem to have a little extra fill on my right side (not sure if it’s still swelling, or just filler that hasn’t fully set yet) the curve seems more pronounced when flaccid. Nothing I can’t live with. Just something I notice more as I have been staring at this thing for decades. On that note, I will say, looking down now is super exciting. It hangs much better (probably an inch longer flaccid). There is actually weight to it that I can feel when moving it, adjusting, washing, whatever. Interestingly, I have a nightlight in my master bathroom so I don’t have to turn the light on in the middle of the night. It happens to cast a perfect profile shadow while pissing. The shadow shape is so much better that before the procedure. I also find that I can’t stop touching it. I’m constantly reaching in my pants (when appropriate) just to feel it in my hand. It’s an amazing feeling. I can no longer touch my fingers when wrapped around it. I’ve even done a bunch of stupid girth “tests”. I can’t wrap a dollar bill all the way around it. I can’t get anywhere close to fitting in a toilet paper roll. Compared it to bananas (I’m bigger) and to a cucumber (I was the same for the narrow half of the cucumber and still smaller than the fat part of the cucumber). I am completely obsessed with my new girth.

A few other observations…my wife told my sister-in-law (her twin sister) about my procedure. I’ve caught her staring at my bulge several times over the past few weeks. Unfortunately there is zero chance of making anything happen with both of them. My wife, sometime during our 12 year relationship has completely forgotten how to give a good blowjob. It’s quite unfortunate. That said, during a sex session after my enhancement, she attempted one. The added girth kind of forced her to change her technique (or lack thereof) and it is much much better now. So, really looking forward to exploring that more in the future. The curve to the left doesn’t seem as pronounced when erect, but the feeling in my hand is significantly different than before (obviously), but isn’t only different due to girth…it’s somehow different in curvature that is especially noticeable when switching hands. Not a bad thing at all. Just different. I’ve also noticed that I am horny all the time. Feel like a teenager. I want to use this thing 100 times a day. The penetration factor is definitely different too (again obviously). But my wife has almost a gutteral reaction at first insertion every time. I’m sure that will wane over time, but damn is it nice right now. She also orgasms several times from penetration alone. She said that she feels like she doesn’t have to work as hard to get me to finish and that that alone is a turn on for her as it makes her feel sexier (an added benefit for sure). An interesting comment my wife made was that she didn’t know what to do with this new cock. It almost makes her feel like she’s cheating on me. In one way a huge turn on because it’s new, but psychologically hard at the same time. She can’t come anywhere close to wrapping her hand all the way around my new member, leaving about and inch between her fingers. Her first husband was “huge” in her words. I am now her biggest by at least a half inch. So that’s nice.

My length is 5-1/2 NBPEL, and 6-1/4” BPEL (I’m currently carrying about 30 extra pounds that creates a little more fat pad than I should have). I was originally 4-3/4” girth, and am now 6-3/8”. I am extremely happy with the girth (so is my wife).

It doesn’t feel squishy, overall. I can feel a tiny bit of squishiness on right side, but it seems like there is still a little swelling there (but I suppose it could be filler still). It’s only been 2 weeks since my last appointment. It gets a little better every day. Doc did put extra filler on right side during last visit to address an area that absorbed funny, or settled funny, or whatever it’s called. There was essentially a line/crease that looked like a kink. I’m pretty sure I caused it with my wrapping technique. I was using the 3/4” tape the doc office gave me and I think it got pinched where the tape wrap overlapped. Or it could have simply been the way my body absorbed some of the filler. I now have a small line/crease on left side that I’ll probably address on follow up visit next week. It’s very minor though, so not sure.

My wife cannot feel squishiness.

I didn’t really have to mold it. I did notice a difference after unwrapping though based on the tape I used. The doc gave me 3/4” tape, and for some reason, either I would make one loop around too tight or too loose, and when unwrapping my penis wouldn’t look smooth. I switched to 2” and 3” tape. I got the best results with 3” tape. I could wrap it slightly tighter so it would force penis to stay stretched under wrap. When I would unwrap the 3” tape, the appearance was much better and smoother.

To be clear…the tape is the medical tape that only sticks to itself.

It sounds like it went well, over an Inch in Girth gain is incredible! Do you find your Flaccid hang better or was it already fairly good?

It hangs much better. I used to have pretty strong retraction. Now, due to the weight of the filler I think, it retracts much less. I would say Flaccid length is at least an Inch more.

It still hangs to the left. Doc said she could probably aesthetically correct that but didn’t want to mess too much with nature. I assume aesthetically correcting it would only be done by adding more filler on left side. Not sure though as I didn’t ask.

When the tailor asks “ does the gentleman dress to the left or the right”. He ain’t talkin politics. Most of us hand to one side or the other when soft. And a lot of us have a little swing to the left or right when hard .

I would love to have better hang, so I'm glad it worked out for you well! I've been considering HA temporarily for size but might just save for PMMA since I'd want to go permanent anyways.

Are you going to go for a permanent size increase down the line?

Not sure if I’ll go for permanent later. I thought about enlargement in the mid-nineties. I was going to kiss excess student loan money (irresponsible I know). Ultimately didn’t do it. Options back then were pretty shitty.

Throughout the years, I would periodically research it. Really started learning the most about it though when I discovered the first version of this site back in 2010 or 2011. PMMA was the latest tech for this back then and HA was just being discussed with very little availability. Came super close to going to Tijuana for PMMA back then, but either my travel schedule or my pocketbook wouldn’t align.

Life got in the way (new marriage, new job, new child, built a new house). Started thinking about it again a few months ago. Had to have my PhalloBoards account reactivated, as it had been a while. Jumped back into the research.

I love the idea of PMMA, and it seems the techniques have gotten better and safer, and the complications have gotten significantly less frequent and more mild. I remember a few horror stories from early on that created a little hesitancy. For me, HA seemed like a great option to test the waters. Easy to correct, easy to remove if complications occur, etc. I also wasn’t sure how my body would react to this procedure. You just never know. I also wasn’t sure what kind of gains I could achieve, what the aesthetics would be, etc. My thought process was I could do a few rounds over time and build up a little at a time if that’s what my body needed to do based on its reaction. Also, my wife had surgery 3 years ago. It was botched. She had to go back (to a different doctor of course) for three corrective surgeries. I know that’s not the same, but simply something in the back of my mind as a “what if”. Again HA seemed by far the safest option.

I researched and found a doc I was comfortable with near me in Michigan and pulled the trigger. I am super pleased with the results. There are still a couple minor areas that I might get touched up. I have a follow up visit next week.

Now back to your question…if my HA lasts as long as people are experiencing (3-4 years), with a degradation of on 25%-ish, it makes more financial sense to simply top off everything each 3-4 years. Never know what pricing will do in the future, but my guess is that all these procedures will get cheaper by at least a little bit. So, if the price is right for PMMA vs HA in the future when I need a top off, I would do PMMA. The other thing I considered is that HA would act as a “conditioner” that should make PMMA results better if I do that in the future. Last consideration was that assuming there is some degradation of HA over a few years. When I get a top off, I will regain that same feeling of have a new and larger tool again, which is a very good feeling.

I was wondering what made you decide to go with the doctor you went with instead of Dr. Harb. I would like to know what helped you make that decision to go with one over the other. Also, I was wondering did you post any before and after pictures?

I did not post before and after pics. I’m currently on vacation and plan on posting pics next week when I return. Will most likely wait until after my follow up visit, just in case we decide to do any touch ups. I would prefer to show before and after that is the final outcome along with some of the pics between procedures.

For my research, I looked into Harb, Med Spa, and a couple others within a reasonable driving distance. I ruled Harb out because I got the feeling that they really only pushed the implant and didn’t have the same level of experience with HA as some others. Ruled out another in Southfield without even calling due to their website and testimonials having a lot of grammatical and spelling errors. This gave me the feeling that the testimonials were fake. Also, like a resume, the website is their chance to make a best first impression. If they can’t even get that right when they are in complete control of it, I didn’t want them anywhere near my only penis. After meeting Dr. LaBranche at MedSpa, I was super impressed with their entire practice. She has performed a couple hundred of these procedures and showed me dozens and dozens of before/after pics. Did not rush the consultation at all. Did not pressure at all either. I’ve always been a big believer in following your gut. Instincts are there for a reason. I instantly felt that MedSpa was the right option for me.

I would recommend setting up consultations with a couple/few places and go with your gut. I am pretty sure you will be impressed with MedSpa.
