So as most already know, Dr.shafer was doing free fillers of juva derm for clinical trial. His partner Dr.Hussain mentioned to me that they are currently looking for additional volunteers for fillers, hence the reason for me making this post.

1. Must be living in NYC
2. MUST attend ALL APPOINTMENTS
3. No prexisting fillers
4. Must be cut.

Interesting, definitely a great opportunity, especially if it's at no cost. i wonder if it's still strictly Hyaluronic Acid (HA) or are they going to offer Bellafill (PMMA) as well. I'll see if I can reach out and find out.

I'm not necessarily going to denounce permanent filler options for glans enhancement since the sample size is very low (most practitioners I know opt for HA) but the amount gained-vs-the-cost-vs-the-unknown-risks makes me rather uneasy about its use in an area anatomically not optimal for dermal fillers in general, much less something permanent.

Again, it has been done to varying degrees of success, but most of this info is based on HA.

I think revaluating the techniques and/or fillers employed in this type of procedure is something I will try to get Sponsors of the forum to chime in on. I myself personally have a pig-in-the-blanket effect, but that was of my own making because my goals were to achieve a 6-Inch Girth and I had to waive any complaint of aesthetics because I'd be forfeiting some naturalness (having already undersized glans). It's a trade off I don't mind in the grand scheme of things, but long-term or permanent glans enhancement that is both tangible (as in gains need to be better than negligible) and safe would be worth consideration, no doubt.

If any of you happen to get in touch with Dr. Hussain or Dr. Shafer before I do, get their opinion(s) on glans enhancement, their approach, and if they'd even consider something permanent like Bellafill (PMMA).

I started my HA journey in this trial with Shafer. He’s exceptional, and 10mL of Voluma free from a doc who now does 20 of these a week is a remarkable opportunity. He also threw in a few mL of Volux in the glans at the time (I was one of the first in the trial), but I’m not sure if he’s still doing that.

Dr. Hussain runs the trials and is a super nice guy.

In my most recent communication with Dr. Shafer's Office, it appears they have reached their volunteer count and will not likely be taking on any new patients for this specific Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Study.

However, it isn't unusual for men to back out, cancel, or not follow-up with subsequent appointments necessary to validate the study's scientific merit. For this reason, I say it still doesn't hurt to reach out and see if a spot opens up and you are very serious about the commitment required. Just remember you must meet the criteria member Oslo mentioned: (1) Live in NYC; (2) No prior girth work done; (3) circumcised; and (4) must make all scheduled appointments.
