TOPIC: Are there "ghost surgeons" in phalloplasty?

Recently I was reading a lot about how it is a common phenomenon in both South Korea and Thailand with so-called "ghost surgeons", where patients believe their surgery is performed by a renowned and well-known surgeon, but when the anesthesia kicks in the surgeon leaves the operating theater and a novice surgeon performs the surgery. Is this something that occurs in Phalloplasty too, I wonder?

There very well may be. This is why Sponsors here are carefully reviewed. Unfortunately due to the language barrier, I just don't have enough insight on the Asian quarters of Phalloplasty, as prevalent in the region it probably is.

I remember reading on the board that one forum member had an absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Kim Jin Hong, who is probably the most famous penis surgeon in Korea, however considering how common penis enlargement is in Korea and the huge number of clinics, I don't think it is justifiable to discourage Korea as a destination for penis enlargement.

Many people from all over the world go there, not just Koreans. You are right however that it is very important to research the right clinic and surgeon. They also use their own fillers and materials in Korea, which they claim are very good, but it seems board members did not have so good experience with for example MegaFill.
