TOPIC: PROUD UROLOGY 5s SURGERY KOREA

Hey guys, long time lurker and have done lots of research and I’m wanting some advice or information from anyone who has had the 5s penile enlargement surgery in Seoul.

The clinic is proud Urology and they perform ligament cut (which I’m apprehensive about), dermal graft around the shaft for Girth and mega fill to enhance the glands.

I looked into the penuma and from what I’ve researched it is not a good option and I’m starting to loose hope with what options I have to help make my penis aesthetically larger.

I was born with congenital curvature where my penis bent 50 degrees to the left.

I had 2x Nesbit procedures in Melbourne that was honestly the worst decision of my life. From there i traveled to Vienna 3 times to get the stage technique to straighten and rectify my curve plus issues with blood flow and nerve damage.

From what I’m realised the phallosan forte is the only safe way to gain some length.

I’m currently 5” and lost about 2 inches from surgery to correct the curve. Getting the ligament cut does not give you more Erect length plus if scar tissue forms it can retract the penis further.

I have been on this journey from the age of 21 I’m now 34 and mentally exhausted but I’m hoping someone here can give me some guidance to help me move on with my life

Uh huh. This totally doesn't read like an unpaid advertisement. Maybe it isn't I don't know. If it works for you, please share some photos if you don't mind.

If you are in AU or NZ, please consider Dr. Oates of Calibre Clinic and don't put your penis in the hands of a place that requires a flight, lodging, and luck. Megafill has mixed reviews from the old forum and I certainly can't imagine why it's being used in glans enhancement. Perhaps they've innovated the technique in Korea but the jury's out.

Is megafill not good for gland enhancement? What are the complications to getting it done?

I received an email with before and after images it does seem to look better but I would like to know what peoples thoughts are on what they offer.

I’m very interested to hear if anyone has experience with the S5 at Proud. I arrived in Korea 2 weeks ago, Proud is definitely the most marketed option here with 5 star reviews on Google, but I’m still very nervous. I did my consultation last week and just decided last night to move forward with the procedure plus the liposuction of the pelvic area. They said we can do the surgery Dec 7th and I should stay nearby the office for a min of a week after for aftercare. Experience, results, long term results, photos…

When I first looked into penis enlargement procedures in Asia, I came across Proud Urology, and their marketing is obviously very good. They responded quickly to my emails too.

What struck me as odd is how quickly they claim to be able to perform the procedure! And the huge number of procedures they claim to perform each single day. It was just too hard to believe.

The clinic has not been around long either, but they claim that they have performed thousands of penis enlargement procedures on people from all over the world?

And if you look at their reviews on Google, most of the reviews seem to be for STD testing.

Maybe in Korean you could find information about the clinic? However, I could not find much information in English, which is strange considering they claim to have performed thousands of penis enlargement procedures on men from all over the world! And in just a few years.

As for the 5S procedure itself, they claim it is done in 50 minutes: Ligamentolysis, MegaDerm, Megafill, selective dorsal neurotomy, glans penis enlargement, PRF (Platelet-Rich fibrin).

They claim most of their patients choose the 5S procedure.

If you are not Circumcised already, then Circumcision will be required.

There is just something that does not sit right with me with this clinic. I ended up having my procedure in Thailand.

I can send you a PM, but I don't really feel comfortable in public to promote a clinic that is not vetted by many board members.

If you live in Asia however, I think it makes sense for you to explore options in Asia, but because most board members live in the USA or Europe, it is not relevant for them.

Anyway, if admin encourages me to write more detailed in a separate thread about the clinic, then I might consider it, in case it is of public interest.

I think many of us will be very curious to hear how your consultation went. Like you say, the lack of reviews and information is suious, especially considering that they claim to have done thousands of procedures from people all over the world in just a few years, and each day they claim to do 20 procedures. However, MegaDerm that they use is supposedly very similar to AlloDerm. Megafill is also a product from Korea, and some things have been written about it on the board.

I do not know what questions you could ask, because their surgical technique is obviously very different from what most board members have experience with, and the whole combination of the surgery is very interesting but at the same time I wonder how they could possibly perform such a surgery in 50 minutes? There is one very famous penis surgeon in Korea, but a board member had a terrible bad experience with him, so I will not mention him.

It is good to know however that despite the very successful marketing of Proud Urology, there are actually penis surgeons in Korea who are much more famous, with much more experience. After having a consultation with Proud Urology, why not have a consultation elsewhere too? There is certainly no lack of penis surgeons in Korea.

I had my consultation with the Dr last night and I’m scheduled for the 5S on Dec 7. The Dr was running 30 minutes behind so I had a chance to sit there for 45 minutes observing the people in the office and other patients coming in and out. I addressed that I couldn’t find many reviews other than Google where most of those are not referencing 5S where he pointed out that it’s a delicate subject to many men especially in Korea but to take notice that there’s no bad reviews on there all positive. The translator had me signed up for 5S surgery, pubic fat pad Removal, ab/ love handles liposuction,& chest liposuction. The Dr said he only recommended the 5S and the pubic fat pad removed, that I will see the greatest results with that and that I have mostly visceral fat where I won’t see much results from the lipo just a waste of money. They could have easily made an extra $9,000 USD but said do only the 5S & pubic fat Removal which made me feel a lot better towards them. The facilities are very nice in a extremely expensive area of Korea. I feel as if they were a chop shop they would be trying to get every buck they can out of the patients. He said we’re like machines here this is what we do every single day. The Dr I saw Dr Hawn (probably spelled that wrong) specializes specifically in Lipo & 5S procedures that’s all he does everyday. He said he was comfortable assuring me min 3 cm length and 4 cm Girth. If I wanted to add additional fill I could go as big as I would like with Girth. I’m scared! I kept telling them that over & over. They told me to take my time and think about it. Also that they’re confident if I stick around for a couple weeks to allow them to help with the aftercare and then follow the aftercare precisely that there’s not going to be any issues. They said the only issues that Dr Hawn has seen is when guys drink, smoke, don’t follow aftercare properly and go to saunas too soon that there’s infections or the closure rips open and the graph will start to push out I think he said. I don’t drink or smoke, I’ve been in Korea almost a month now and I’m looking forward to getting home to be with my family for the holidays but I’m staying 2 extra weeks to let the Dr do the aftercare for me. They said after 2 weeks it’s pretty good, then still use caution the next 2-4 weeks. Keep up with aftercare, take it easy, and no sex or masturbation. I can’t see them being there for as many years as they have been if they’re a butcher shop. I’ll post before and after pictures when I do the procedure to hopefully help someone else.

Thank you for providing a report, and it does sound like your consultation went very well. The impression you convey seems good, and if you have a good result, definitely I think many board members would be interested in trying their procedure. After all, the 5S surgery is a very different procedure, compared to what is offered elsewhere.

They offer dermal graft, in addition to filler, perform selective dorsal neurectomy and Ligamentolysis, and glans penis enlargement and PRF (Platelet-Rich fibrin). I was close to choosing this clinic over the one I ended up going to in Thailand. My procedure was quite similar: dermal fat graft, selective dorsal neurectomy and Ligamentolysis. PRF is also offered elsewhere in Thailand, but the clinic I went to did not offer it. As for glans penis enlargement, it is not something that I have read about elsewhere being offered.

First off, it is important that you do not underestimate the magnitude of the surgery. Even after doing ligamentolysis alone, it is recommended by all surgeons not to have sex for 8 weeks, but you are doing many procedures at the same time. I do not know what Proud Urology told you about the recovery time?

And did they mention anything about use of a penile traction device after ligamentolysis? As many board members have written, it will be hard to use a penile traction device when combining ligamentolysis with other procedures.

I know that Proud Urology requires you to have circumcision, if you are not already circumcised, so you would not risk prepuce edema that might prolong your recovery time significantly. It seems about half of people who are not circumcised and get dermal graft will have prepuce edema, but in the studies I read everyone recovered after 1-4 months.

I would say it took me about 3 months for the phimosis to be significantly reduced, and now 4 months later my foreskin is what would be considered normal, although still the foreskin is tighter than before. Anyway, it is not relevant information for you because you will be circumcised, whether or not you are already circumcised

As for MegaDerm, I believe it is a bit different from dermal fat graft, because having dermal fat graft inserted requires the penis to be degloved. From what I read, it is different with MegaDerm and AlloDerm, however it might just be that they use different "wording". Somehow the MegaDerm has to be fixed to the tunica, after all.

When implanting dermal fat graft then the penis is degloved and doing this also makes it possible for the suspensory ligament to be incised without ugly scars. The graft then has to be implanted on the dorsal surface of the tunica. In some procedures of AlloDerm I read the dermal graft is somehow "injected" into the penis using a procedure similar to circumcision. Again, I believe this might just be "wordplay", and actually the penis will be degloved to insert the MegaDerm.

Another important thing to ask might be how they prevent penile retraction after the ligamentolysis? Do they use silicone buffer or an adipose tissue flap? Personally, I would also feel a bit uncomfortable with MegaFill, as it seems that it can easily move. What did they say about this post-op care in regard to MegaFill?

I just wonder if it is easy to remove the MegaFill if necessary? Because complications do not seem uncommon at all. Anyway, this is definitely an interesting procedure, but I cannot help but wonder if someone needs all that: glans enlargement? MegaDerm/MegaFill? Ligamentolysis? Selective dorsal neurotomy? Circumcision?

For one thing, do you have premature ejaculation? Do you want flaccid length gains? Do you want circumcision? In retrospect, I think I would just have gotten some filler, and if I was in your situation and in Korea right now, I might have considered only getting MegaFill or HA. MegaFill does seem to require constant massaging for it not to move.

Like I said before, why not have another consultation elsewhere? You could meet with Dr. Kim Jin Hong. Even though some bad things have been written about him, I believe he is by far the most experienced penis surgeon in Korea. However, it does not necessarily mean that he is the best, of course.

Thank you for sharing Pepperoni - I've heard of this Clinic a few times before but so sparsely that I can't really say much about them +PLUS the language barrier certainly makes the research endeavor a bit more tricky for options that aren't English-native.

@screen2584 So with your grafting you were degloved from the Foreskin ? Having a huge scar by the pubic area has made me second guess the procedure.
