So I have been looking through old posts, mostly Texas's posts but I digress. What can I expect going to TJ? My appointment is on a Wednesday... I plan to leave night Friday or Saturday morning? Is that enough time?

For post op care is the stretcher that Dr. C gives you enough? Do I need to get me own? How do you guys sleep? Texas said get airplane doughnuts in a post before.. should I get the autoexternder sleeve to sleep in? Lastly should I purchase a Hanger before I go?

How do I roll and massage? Are there any tips or tools to get the best shape? I'm ordering hand warmer today since there Is no microwave in the room.

Lastly, how is the wifi? And should I buy a switch? Or should I not take work off an work while I'm there?

Just asking opinions.

I imagine that's enough time. Two to three days is sufficient.

I got my work done before stretchers were provided (many years ago), and quite frankly, due to my glans-to-shaft proportion, I've never been a great candidate for those devices unfortunately. That said, it's only a plus if you have anything that can elongate your shaft to better massage it. I'm not sure about sleeping with a sleeve, you'll have to ask Dr. C about that but I slept like normal. It's hard to tell yourself "which way to sleep" when we often move in bed while passed out. Again, just like with the sleeve, the Hanger is something you can ask Dr. C about, but if it were that vital they would have told you to either acquire one, or that they would supply you one. I think you'll be fine if you show up as is.

They will actually demonstrate the proper massaging technique and if they are still providing the antibiotic gel, I found that to be incredibly useful. Not only was it safe to apply topically since you'll have open entry points (which can take a day or two to fully heal), but they provide a warm lube-like coat which makes the massaging easy as well. If I recall correctly (and assuming they haven't changed the protocol since), you place your thumbs next to each other on the top of your shaft, starting at the base squeeze squeeze outward, with the same kind of pressure you might use to knead dough. Then you place your thumbs next to each other more mid-shaft and repeat, and so on. Some "wet jelq" action doesn't hurt either. You're biggest goal is to find problem areas where it appears there is an uneven distribution of product (i.e. clumps), and work to massage those out.

I'm pretty sure WiFi and all of that works just fine. I'd take the time to treat it more like vacation. I mean bring your laptop anyways, you never know if there is an urgent work matter, but most people try out local eateries and watch movies while recovering. Good luck!

Skeptical answered pretty much everything. Your length of stay is plenty. If you have the procedure Wednesday Ian will show you how to massage properly you'll walk over a couple times the next day and he'll inspect everything. If you stay until Friday you'll go back one last time before you leave Friday morning. The Hanger they issue you if it's the same one I received is simply a noose Hanger. Basically just a light weight with an elastic band through it. It's simply to keep things elongated. As far as sleeping. If you can sleep like texas said then that's ideal so that you're able to stay in an extended state. I'm bringing the sleeve this time for my 2nd appointment. I definitely think it'll be useful. I'd advise you to get the thinnest one though. The wifi worked great. Just go enjoy yourself chill out in the hotel the food is cheap. If you're like me I enjoyed eating then going to chill at.the bar and have a drink or 2 and enjoy the atmosphere. There's also a casino if I remember correctly in the hotel.
