TOPIC: Sensitive skin

Sensitive skin 2 years 5 months ago #1308696848

Anyone have ultra sensitive skin where the pmma was placed? My has been in for 1.5 yrs and now I have noticed a few white very small specks of material that seem to be showing Up in my skin. Seems like it is pmma that is slowly working itself thru the epidermis layer.

Hi. It would help if you send a picture of the area that concerns you.

Have you attempted contacted Dr. N about what she may have to say about it? I'm curious to know if she follows up with any of her patients. Smh.

I know you aren't going to like this answer, but you really need to consider speaking to a Dr about being prescribed some anti anxiety medication.

I think you should speak to someone close to you, who preferably knows your surgical history, and ask them if they think you mental state is preventing you from having sound judgement.

Since you first started posting on the forum, I've always thought you sound as if you become anxious and then obsessional over potential issues and then suffer from psychosomatic symptoms.

I honestly think you obsessed about your nodules to the point that you wanted to believe they were something more sinister, so you could justify to yourself, that Removal was needed. You then started worrying about lymphatic drainage and began thinking about a skin graft. This latest issue seems like you are trying to convince yourself that it's only a matter of time until the skin is compromised, so you might as well get a graft.

I think you've seriously got to start considering that your state of mind is such that perhaps you might benefit from talking to a therapist.

I thankyou very much for your concern. I was hoping as a group we could compare and contrast outcomes. As we know, this is the most informative and most understanding place to broach these topics. Anyone outside this circle, doesn’t quite understand motivations when it comes to augmentation. I was simply asking if anyone has had some pmma over time work it’s way through the skin.
I do not think anxiety is an abnormal feeling if one has issues after a procedure. I work out, I see patients all day, I eat healthy and take care of my family. This is how I deal with my stresses. I am just looking for support from a group of guys that have had similar motivations and possible similar issues.
This is the proper place to discuss this stuff right?
