Age 41 with a athletic build
I researched Penuma vs filler for the last 8 months and decided on PMMA - Bellafill
At first I wanted Penuma I was on Dr.Taj's schedule had my plane tickets bought and hotel booked but I cancelled (lost deposit) I canceled because of how physical my job is combined with tossing and turning at night and shutting down my business for 6 weeks It was a bad fit. Dr.Taj dose say to treat you Penis like a rolex and I don't even think I could have treated it like a Casio - I kind of talked myself into trying to make it work. but realized I would mess up my penis
I went to Dr.Rupeka in Warren OH - I did 11 syringes of Bellafill
So far im really happy with the results
It is supposed to fill in over time as collagen forms . Also you can always add more later.

(Q5.) If I had other treatments for penile enlargement (fat injections, Penuma, Surgimend, etc.) and am not happy with it, can I have still get filler injections?
Generally, filler injection after a person had surgical insertion of Penuma or Surgimend for penis augmentation is safe and do-able. However, it is not advisable to do surgical insertion after the person had filler injection because of the adhesions resulting from the surgery making it very difficult and even unsafe to perform. One of the problem with Penuma is that it is firm and sometimes it is palpable on the skin surface and does not look natural. One way to treat this would be with filler injection.
Some patients had fat injection for girth enlargement and complain that the penis feels too soft and look uneven. This is a common problem with fat injection because some of the fat may be absorbed unevenly and of-course fat feels soft. This can be improved by injecting filler intradermally (inside the skin) to give a "shell" and also inject sub-dermally (underneath the skin) to even out.
It is best to see and be examined by the treating surgeon before a final decision on what is best for you.

(Q6.) I had penile implant done and my penis seems to be generally shrunken especially the head of the penis, can that be corrected?
When a penile implant is put in perfectly, it looks, feels and functions very well and most patients are very happy with the results. However, for one reason or another, sometimes they do not fit well and there will be irregularities to the touch, unwanted prominences or other problems. Even when they were put in with a perfect fit, problems do arise with the passing of time. The reason for this is because whereas the implants generally do not change, the penis itself does. The head of the penis may regress and become smaller which may result in the tip of the implant becoming prominent . When having sex the partner may complain of a poking sensation and occasionally even pain. The implant may be palpable along the shaft of the penis. All these could be improved by filler injections. At the same time, the penis shaft and the head can be enlarged as well.

I have been reading the forums and for YEARS now people keep saying they are terrible implants because they are so firm. A) who wants mushy balls anyway? B) I don't know about you but when I wake my balls are considerably larger and FAR firmer than they are the rest of the day and I can barely keep my hands off them when they are like that C) are you really planning to allow just anyone to fondle your nuts?

I have an IPP that was placed last year and one of the cylinders is a little longer than the other. It causes the whole penis to roll a bit off to the left and there is a kink (dogeared; take a soda straw and bend it over, you will find that any tube like a hose will get pointy spots right at the bend) that is always there unless it is fully inflated, then the implant is straight and tubular. That lump though when not fully pumped up is unsightly and worse, it rubs on clothing and sheets and such and makes a sore spot. You can EASILY see the lump where the kink inside is. And notice how the penis twists off to the left? Right side of photo of course.

I do not want to have a revision (this is the second one, the original failed after about 10 years; the Veteran's Hospital did the work both times) as it is pretty invasive and more than a little risky. I thought Dr. Elist's Penuma would act as a shield between that kink and the penis skin, and even hold the tubing in better shape while pretty much burying it.

Then I go to looking at the results of the testicle implants as well. If the new larger penis is done then the balls will look really a lot smaller by comparison. Also, there is the matter of the squeeze pump, as it is the thing looks like I have three balls. If the doctor puts in the implants the squeeze pump will be crowded to the back of the scrotum rather than just hanging there like it can't wait to make babies.

When you have both procedures done at the same time the cost is about 24-25 thousand US. Provided you are circumcised and do not need fat removal. I actually do not need any lengthening even though I lost a couple inches when they installed the IPP back in 2011. But, my penis was 9 inches full raging hard as a younger man before the ED made erections a thing of the past. Now just a smidge over 7. I am good with that. But I also lost girth and can get that back, so I am going to do this, and if anyone predicts I am going through hell for that decision then I apologize in advance but trying to discourage others is a really asshat move. Your tastes and prejudices are NOT mine or that of others here, it is strictly your opinion.

In the words of my sainted mother; If you have nothing good to say then say nothing at all! As my dead Dad would say; STFU.

As far as the fillers, I am trying to gain a bit more girth with it. However, I am a bit skeptical about fillers because of any complications that may come up. How can it be removed if it is permanent should there be complications? Also, what types of fillers are safe if any?

No procedure is without risk, including filler injections. However, due to the non-surgical, outpatient, & local anesthetic nature of the procedure, it minimizes many risks that come with traditional surgery.

In my opinion, finding an experienced and credible practitioner is paramount to a successful result. There are many places that will offer enlargement "because they can," but not are necessarily very good. Think of barbers and tattoo artists... sure your town may have many, but only so few are considered the best... and when it comes to your penis, why "shortchange" your own dick?

Good luck with your research.

The implant isn't terribly popular around here because of its unacceptable number of reports of complications, as well as the severity of said-complications. That said, I don't mean to alarm you and you very well may be just fine with the implant, it's case-by-case anyways.

You aren't really going to get any additional erect length through the use of fillers I'm afraid, at least not the 0.5" lost. You're probably more likely to regain that through a traction protocol (stretching, hanging, etc.) but without proper medical supervision or advice, that too can be risky.

Dr. Liu is certainly familiar with the implant, as he told me in our first conversation that it was "flawed in design," which told me he knew what was up. He's a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and provides a host of male aesthetic services, making him a good candidate to see regarding additional work and/or revision.

I am not familiar with the MegaMAXL. I'll look into it though. I have been doing some research about fillers and I came across with Dr. Liu. I am on the fence of trying the fillers or not. I don't know if any of you have tried it and what you all think of it.

I had it implanted and removed in 2010. Corrective surgery by Dr Carney last May. Much better for me without it. Have a look at my progress thread for MegaMAXL. It has more info.

Hello guys,
I had my penuma implant done about 2 years ago. For the most part I am satisfied with it. The only thing I don't like is that my penis got shorter by 0.5 inch. Not sure if over time I will get that length back. I am curious if any of you got the same implant with Dr. Elist and how things are going with it?

Why ask me to look online? Why not provide your sources? I mean besides, I've read a plethora of articles, journal publications, and medical opinions, and I can tell you that the field of male augmentation is one of the most poorly researched & developed. We live in a world where Dr. Elist claims his Penuma device will give you length because of the weight of the implant. Lengthening information is either skewed or outdated. This is why this forum has its role, and which is why I publish this Q&A's to bring more standardization to these questions & concepts.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO CALL THE ATTORNEYS AT CADDELL CHAPMAN. They are in charge of the class action suit against Elist, Penuma.

This is a necessity. Instead of waiting for you to be fixed, or worrying about things, you have to WORK, and MAKE A MOVE and contact them. Let them know your story. If you know of others that have been duped, bamboozled, lied to, bought into the claims of Elist, Taj, and others re: Penuma, then do them and yourself a favor and contact these attorneys. They're not asking me to put this info here--I'm doing this for our collective benefit.

There won't be any mention because they redirect all of that $$ from duping people into a juggernaut of a marketing campaign. Just wait until some news articles hit

Hello Everyone

I am also a patient of Dr Elist and the penuma procdeure. Really wish I had found these forums before. As I also suffer from many of the issues you all are stating. I can't believe there is almost no mention of dissatisfied patient reviews on sites like Google, Yelp and some of the other larger websites.

Anyhow, I wanted to let you know that I just spoke to Amy at CADDELL & CHAPMAN. Unfortunately it looks like the lawsuit that is being referred to on this post has been pulled. The individual has decided not to move forward. However, they are continuing to build a case to go after Dr Elist. I gave them the short version of my story and contact information. Hopefully a new case can be brought up soon! I do encourage anyone who hasn't, to please contact their office. The only way we can win this is by working together and by numbers. We can not win this individually.
