Hello everyone,

About five years ago, I underwent a PMMA injection. Aside from some minor nodules and granulomas, I’m generally satisfied with the results. However, I keep experiencing an issue where I develop a type of edema or fluid accumulation beneath the skin of my penis after sexual activity. I am circumcised, and I'm curious if anyone has some experience or ideas how to handled it.

Also, can the fluid accumulation be treated with corticosteroid tablets or a compression bandage? Is there a way to expedite the resolution of this issue?

I was thinking of trying to get my pmma removed, but unfortunately I‘m think the outcome would be disastrous.

Thank you!

There is a widely known pharma coupon provider in the US who also does a telemedicine option. You can get them to prescribe you generic tadalafil super cheap. Easily as cheap as the farmacias. I just took some with me.
And yeah, put a travel notice on your card with the bank, i do that even if I'm just driving elsewhere in Texas!
Oxxo is the convenience store and I got way more of my calories from Sabrositas than I should have.

They have gallon jugs of bottled water in Oxxo, too. If you're worried about an infection from the shower, I'd go that route. I think the guys that are getting infections are probably not paying attention to where their dick goes when they drop a deuce, or, TJ can have some water issues from time to time. I didn't let my dick go anywhere near the inside of the bowl, and if I go for a 2nd round I'll probably wash my dick in bottled water. Or just enjoy 6 5'8" f***ing girth and not get greedy. Girlfriend has already asked me to "stop jelqing" because it's too much at times (she has no idea).

I didn't do a churrascaria, and IF i were to do things over again I wouldn't have walked as much as I did, especially in jeans. A week of boredom for better results is totally worth it.

If it's not interfering with your ability to get hard or have sex, it's unlikely severe enough to prevent you from getting filler
every dude I've seen on here who was worried about it had less webbing than I do - for me i guess the underside of my shaft was butchered when i was circumcised enough to cause my down curve - it's not extreme, but if i hand straighten my dick i can definitely feel the stretch. Filler made no difference for me.

We wanted to share a new 5-minute video we just released that breaks down the most effective, medically-backed options for increasing penis girth — straight from our team of board-certified urologists.

We know many men here are exploring or have already undergone enhancement procedures, so this video is designed to be a clear, no-hype overview of what actually works — and what to avoid.

The video covers:

? Why girth often matters more than length in terms of confidence and partner satisfaction
? The pros and cons of HA and PMMA dermal fillers
? An overview of surgical fat transfer and when it’s the right fit
? A strong warning about silicone injections (still an issue we’re correcting regularly)
? Why pills, pumps, and jelqing don’t deliver lasting girth — and may cause damage
? Combination pathways and our approach to revision procedures

? Watch it here:

As always, we’re happy to answer questions here or privately. Our goal with this content is to help men make informed, safe decisions — whether it’s your first time exploring enhancement or you’re looking to revise or improve previous work.

Thanks to the PhalloBoards community for continuing to provide a space where these conversations can happen openly and honestly.

My girth is a bit above 5, it varies, maybe 5.25 at mid and more at the base. I’d be happy with a uniform 5.5 for most of it (tapered at the top since my glans isn’t big), 6 would be nuts and I wouldn’t want anything above that as I really prioritize a natural look and feel. I’d much rather have a natural and healthy and normal looking 5.5 than go above that and have a frankendick. I know people here like the fillers but I want something permanent and firm (so no HA) and I’d have to fly to Mexico for PMMA which — I really don’t want to board a plane after getting shit injected into my dick. So that leaves me to a dermal graft, which apparently have a decent record in medical literature.

The thing is I have a bit of an odd shape to my dick and it curves to the left. Can the graft be shaped to accommodate this? Further, do you lose length when getting the graft? I’ve heard of this but can’t find any confirmations. I really wouldn’t want to lose any length.

Further, what is the recovery like? I don’t mind skipping sex for 45 days but I’m an active weightlifter so I’d hate to be out for longer than like two weeks. But I’d still do it.. just wondering.

Be sure to express your goals to the folks at Proud Urology -- they have a Team of 3 Urologists, each with their own areas of urological expertise, who will collectively tailor your procedure for optimal results.

With your goals (and your already well-above average length), acquiring a 0.25" - 0.5" will require the minimal layers/sheets (or however they may choose to call it) of dermal grafts, which is actually optimal -- you see, in the past many dermal graft procedures were performed on men seeking significant gains, but the graft implant must survive for it to retain its aesthetics & permanence -- by having fewer grafts implanted, the easier it will be for your shaft to vascularize & integrate the new tissue with your penis. This is why I believe dermal grafts are a viable option when performed by Surgeons who take a conservative approach, and ideal for guys who have very reasonable, yet disciplined goals (a max of 0.75" gains with a "One & Done" procedure).

Naturally there are Pros & Cons for every procedure type, or else I'd imagine a Holy Grail of Phalloplasty would be standard industry-wide. Rejuvall has modernized the fat distribution route by evolving "FFT into FTT (as mentioned prior), while other Clinics & Doctors like Proud Urology in Korea or Dr. Liu in the Bay Area specialize in the implantation of dermal grafts (that only Surgeons are qualified to perform), and you have some places like Avanti Derma renowned for their long history of PMMA application, while others like PhalloFILL boast the strong safety profile of Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Know that your decision is a sound one when in the hands of any one of the leading innovators in this field, with a few new vetted options coming to the PhalloBoards in 2025 (mainly in the U.S.).

I should note*** however, to avoid silicone options, be-it filler, or rigid implant, for the purposes of penis enlargement. Just bad news.

What's crucial is that once you decide on the procedure-type that fits your goals, finding a quality Provider is paramount. Fortunately, @Proud_Urology , especially for those abroad and those who travel to Asia often, is a quality International Brand with English-speaking patient liaisons, and I've found them to be both professional and generally well-received.

@NewMember how long you did not drink coffee?

@Avanti_Derma is it okay to drink caffeine 2 weeks after a pmma session? (normal, two cups /day)
Or is caffeine harmful in any way before / after a pmma session?

Pmma + Caffeine

I'm really confused about the topic of caffeine and PMMA. Many people here say that it would harm the results shortly before and shortly after pmma session because of the vasoconstrictor. That makes a bit of sense.

Others swear by caffeine because it supposedly boosts metabolism and stimulates collagen. Therefore, they make even a special collagen coffee (with collagen powder). Also true. Coffee its a well know beauty advice in general when it comes to collagen in general. (Women do it regards anti aging)

My own opinion:

- the week before the session I drink normal coffee. Two cups a day.

- I stop drinking coffee for 10-14 days after surgery—but only to be absolutely sure and to especially avoid the turtle effect. I actually think that's even a bit overthinking. I do it just to be sure. Also two days before session ..

- After 2 weeks I drink coffee normal! I do not think the vasoconstriction effect is that crazy. (Effect on the blood-vessels.) And with regard to the (maybe) turtle effect: Anyway: I'll be wearing the stretcher consistently for 8 weeks anyway. (?)

Here we seem to have one opinion from a doctor about that topic:
phalloboards.info/forum/general-phallopl...list-plz-advise.html

Long story short:
- Trurtle Effect Coffee: Yes maybe its true. First 2 weeks I dont drink while the product is settling. ! After that time its fine. +Especially when you wear the stretcher absolutely consequent for so many weeks.

- Vasoconstriction (effect on blood-vessels): Also true. I mean you should also not smoke. But I do not think it can be compared to smoking… After 2 Weeks coffee is absolutely fine ??

- Collagen/Coffee: Its seems that Coffee has a good effect on collagen in general beauty scene.

What is your advice @Skeptical_One ?
I m really confused. Also when you just tip in google „caffeine and pmma“ you find hundreds of studies !?

You are there to heal your dick, not party. You aren't going to have any issue whatsoever walking around the hotel area at a decent hour. Before everything got silly, I would say you're probably not going to have an issue in that part of town regardless of the time of night, unless you just look like a mark.

I worry more about going around in downtown Houston at night, and when I go out around here I'm normally armed to the teeth with kevlar under the seat.

TJ isn't Juarez.

But really, you don't want to be walking more than is necessary while you're healing, and there is more than adequate food within walking distance.

You eat breakfast at the hotel which is extremely good, grab a couple of slices of pizza next to the Oxxo, get some snacks at Oxxo on your way back, do your aftercare, and as for dinner, you can easily find enough places to get you through a week. Just looking from the steps of the hotel.

If I were worried about anything it would be the water, not personal safety. You would have to go full Leroy Jenkins mode and blindly set out to areas unknown to have an issue. But it's so easy to make it through a week without having to leave a 400-yard radius it's really dealer's choice

Thanks Tsmartin304 and itgoesthud.

I got my second procedure- I'll probably update my thread in a few days. Just wanted to say stellar advice. I gotta look back at which steak house you guys recommended. I went to Moreira Argentino across the street. I didn't realize the sparkling water was $14. I spent about $50 total but I spend about that stateside for those unlimited Brazilian steak houses like Fogo De Chao. I didn't even need to bring as much cash as I did. Credit works everywhere although I get OCD about if the tip is in US dollars or Pesos.

The breakfast buffet at the hotel is definitely the best deal. I just eat a brunch there for about $20 and dinner at the hotel is about the same thing.

The gym in the hotel is pretty good. If you guys have any recommendations for a restaurant or steakhouse for me to try let me know.

Update* They do have one of those steak buffets- I probably would have went here instead and eaten a lot more for the same price, 15 minute walk: maps.app.goo.gl/TrLuM4ZK3D7V6QeeA

I walked to Farmacias Roma no problem to pick up a few generic tadalafil. No prescription needed and for me it was about half as expensive as I remember it being Stateside. No issues walking around during the day, definitely get the bottled water from the 24 hour convenience store in the tower next to the hotel. It's pretty cheap there, I almost tried the complementary water from the gym, since I could just refill there for free but another gym guy said he wouldn't drink it- only bottled.

I worked out the first day because I missed the appointment due to PayPal flagging my account. Definitely make your payment in full before your trip. Same with the hotel- Ian was saying another person could not get the Grand Hotel because he didn't book in advance.

Anyway thanks for sharing all the advice~

Had the scrotal webbing procedure and I’m happy that I did it. I’m sure results might change, but they told me I gained about an inch and half in usable length.

The healing process is going well and I’m about a week from having the sutures removed (two week mark). I’m hoping the third week allows me to get back to normal activity but sexual intercourse is probably a few weeks after that.

Also, the filler procedure is showing less swelling, but time will tell. My main concerns still exist: possibly too much filler and the girth is larger than expected and there’s some gaps (expected).

I’ll keep the post updated, roughly once a week.

Degloving is the best way to getting as much of the foreign matter out as possible. However!! You will run the risk of getting skin necrosis again especially if the blood supply was compromised in your first episode.

Actually, just a month ago I went for a degloving to remove a whole bunch of pmma (probably like 100cc) and the doc (Dr Ivan Aguilera in MX) warned me that necrosis can happen when removing pmma. He also recommended FFT to reduce the chances of that happening and I did go for it. Overall the op was very successful in the removal, but I do have a small are about the size of a pinkie nail that ulcerated and is taking a while to heal, but I've started using collogen gel/patches over it and it seems to be healing slowly.

Sure I used the honestpeshop email. He replied in a few hours for me. The PE community recommends that extender because of the quality/price. I had an issue and he resolved it for me, basically if you plan on using vibration get the hog vibe and don't try upgrading the regular extender with replacement parts.

Mconklin1964,
I apologize if I made it seem like I recommended you to get the scrotal webbing excised. In my response I did indicate that your condition will not cause any issues with getting your PMMA injected. Based on your post and photos you indicated your condition was mild. This is a personal decision and depends on how much the "turkey neck" bothers you. If you and/or your partner do not seem bothered by the appearance then you shouldnt feel the need to get it corrected.

Hope this helps clarify things.

We have tried dermal grafts in the past and found that the results were unreliable and not that great. If you're wanting to avoid dermal fillers and would prefer a surgical solution, I would recommend FTT (fat tissue transfer) rather than a dermal graft to increase girth surgically.

Have you always had a curve? What do you mean by "odd shape?" You would first want to rule out Peyronie's before having any kind of enhancement done. Yes, lost length is a possibility after surgical enhancement due to the scarring that occurs during the healing process, but a lot of that depends on your surgeon's experience and expertise and what sort of aftercare regimen they put you on post-op.

You would certainly not be able to do any exercise or heavy lifting for several weeks after any sort of surgical procedure, unfortunately, and would be at an even higher risk of experiencing complications if you do not wait to heal before resuming regular physical activity. What most men don't realize is that penis enlargement surgery is REAL surgery that requires just as much downtime and aftercare as any other type of serious operation anywhere else in the body.

No Peyrione’s. Re: lifting, I’d fully listen to the doctor’s orders. Was just wondering what the time frame would be like.

That said, I’m seeing conflicting information from the studies. I wish it was easier to reach out to the authors of the meta analysis linked as they might have a better idea of what the field looks like with this.

I know that Proud Urology is a partner of this website and I’m considering their services

No. All of my photos are with hybrid filler. The only times I used HA + PRP/PDGF are with those patients who had PMMA or an unknown filler that may not be compatible with Radiesse.
