I got 1 round of
PMMA about 2 years ago at AD and overall have been decently satisfied. However one the L side there is a little bit of a cord
Nodule , that is most obvious towards the top of the circ scar. Beyond that there is a void area, almost like the
PMMA that was put there sort of rolled up into the cord instead of staying where it should have been.
I was planning on going to
Rupeka to have
PMMA put in the void area. However now I am wondering if that could possibly be a bad idea if the
PMMA got pushed out of the area and ended up rolling back into the same area where the cord is and making it even more obvious. Considering maybe doing an
HA injection first to see if it could keep that space open? Or maybe just trying
Kenalog to make that cord/bump less apparent in the first place.
Making this post mostly to see if others have been able to deal successfully with these cord nodules, whether it was breaking them up,
Kenalog, or just camouflaging them with more material. Hopefully will be able to see
Rupeka soon and ask what he thinks is best. I'll add pictures tomorrow when I can take some good pictures.
