TOPIC: PhalloFill Progress 2.5 Weeks - Issues near Glans

Hi, all! I took the plunge 2.5 weeks ago for my first PhalloFILL treatment. I purchased 10 units but ended up only doing 4 units for my first session as I have a very natural aesthetic goal and Wanted to start slow. My goal was to add more filler to the base and taper down. At first it looked like it was very full at the base but it’s subsided a lot after swelling went down. What did not subside however is the filler above my Circumcision line, especially on the left side. But also on the right to a lesser degree. I thought/hoped it was simply swelling but it’s never done away and it’s nearly 3 weeks later. The doctor stated something I can’t quite remember but I could tell he didn’t like how it was reacting in that area and that we’d see how it looks at the next visit in 3 weeks. I had to postpone for 4 weeks which is next Thursday. I’m not sure if I should dissolve the areas I’m concerned with then wait a few weeks and add the rest where I want it (more at the base), or should I add the filler at the next visit and wait to dissolve until later? My worry if I do that is that the dissolver could dissolve even more than what I want to get rid of. Can anyone offer any advice based on the photos I attached, a couple soft and a couple Erect. It is more prominent than the pictures show. It sometimes looks like a hammerhead. But any advice is appreciated as I’d like to know exactly what to ask the doctor to do at my next visit.

Personally I don't think it looks bad at all man. We tend to be our own worst critics but from the pictures I don't see anything to be worried about at this point.

I concur with @dm1900 , we can be our own harshest critics because frankly, what you have is an aesthetic result and I was expecting worse based on your comments alone (before having clicked on the photos). You even attempted taking different angles and quite honestly, I doubt anyone would suspect a thing -- whomever your Provider was I think did a good job in terms of distributing filler, and I don't see anything that would warrant "dissolving" what you have really, at least from a former patient's perspective.

It is easy to be hyper-critical, and for good reason, but I feel this is an instance where the photos are kind of what you not only expect, but hope for in the end (as in: gains + naturalness).

Thank you guys for the replies! I appreciate it and am overall happy. I will admit it’s quite hard to see the obvious area on the top left on photos. My partner is an aesthetic injector and thinks it’s very superficial in that particular area. But I will bring my issues up in person with the doctor, your comments are all very reassuring though I must say. Thank you!

I was literally trying to find the problem. It looks completely fine. How does it feel ?

It looks really strange sometimes at rest Flaccid the left area above Circumcision scar juts out significantly. I took a picture just now and circled the area it looks like a balloon and feels squishy and like it’s more superficial there. In terms of how it feels, though, it’s pretty much healed aside from the areas above the circ scar are still tender sometimes to the touch or if I cross my legs and smoosh it accidentally. In 2 days it’ll be 3 full weeks. I think most of the swelling is gone which is good but also disappointing. If I can get enough product where it heals as thick as it was at first, I’ll be super pleased. But to be fair I’m only 4 units in out 10, and I’m already happy with the progress.

Your results look fantastic. But I think I know how you are feeling in regards to the issue you're seeing. I had swelling in this same area for a considerable time after my initial treatment with Ellanse. It appears you're experiencing a similar accumulation of lymphatic fluid as I did. It had me quite concerned that it wasn't ever going to resolve but after some time it did and now the spot in question is just fine and I couldn't be happier with the results. I'd give it more time, try wrapping the area to help prevent the fluid buildup and, of course, keep in touch with your doctor if you have further concerns.
