Hello, I'm fresh off an HA injection earlier today. I received 15 ml of Restylane Contour and a PRP shot.

The doctor was very nice and the procedure itself went fine, but they were very curt about any aftercare and basically just said no sex/masturbation for 10 days, no rigorous physical activity for a day or two, keep gauze on for 24 hours, and dont shower until the morning. They said to set a follow-up in 2-3 weeks. I asked about manual manipulation/massaging of the HA after the procedure and didnt really get a response.

Right before the doctor started the injections they asked if I had any preferences on placement. I just told them an even distribution. The doctor said he was happy with the immediate results.

I'm now about 4 hours post injection. I know I'm completely fresh and there is swelling, but it seems like the filler is in two blobs on the anterior part of my shaft. It doesn't look or feel like any of the filler went to the sides or posterior part of my penis, there is a circumferential gap at the base of my penis with no filler, and the left aspect of my distal shaft just proximal to the glans has no filler.

So my questions are is this normal immediately after the procedure and it will just redistribute on it's own? Or is it too early to tell? Should I be manually massaging the filler into spots that I feel don't have it (with heat?)? Or is this likely something that will have to be addressed with touch ups/evening out?

Again, I know I'm completely fresh post procedure and I wasn't expecting perfection the first round, but I was expecting a way more even distribution than this and not something so focally globular. Just spent a lot of money on this (as I know we all have), and just trying to get the most out of it :)

Attached picture are 2-4 hours post procedure so I'm sorry for the bloody ugliness. I'm showing the stretched picture because it highlights the gap at the base. Happy to post later follow up pictures too.

Thanks in advance for your time and helping a newbie out!

Oooof. Yeah, that's how I've been feeling and I was hoping I was overreacting. I'll still wait it out a bit (probably only until the two week follow up) and maybe seek a second opinion to see if it's salvageable before I go back and ask for the hyaluronidase. I'm kicking myself too because we talked about the safety profile of the filler and use of hyaluronidase if needed, but I didn't discuss pricing of that with the provider. I hope they take a look at their work and just give it for free.

This is just me speculating, but I don't think the doctor took into account my personal anatomy (which I told them about). I'm a grower and not a shower. I'm often shriveled up in the flaccid state. I also have a congenital curve up and some "English" where I lean/twist a bit to the right in the erect state, with the "English" persisting in the flaccid state. I'm actually happy with my natural shape when erect and it's like a banana (and was hoping I'd maintain the natural curve after injection). Just wanted more girth overall and more volume to keep my flaccid "showing" better.

Anyway, I think the doctor put the cannulas just straight in on my flaccid/shriveled up penis, which would actually be an oblique course of the cannula relative to my penis. That's exactly the distribution of filler I'm feeling and seeing in my penis, and the entry hole seems on par with theory :(

And so I had a few erections over night and boy oh boy it ain't pretty haha. I love how the extra girth feels, but it is so aesthetically off and globular. Oh well, I will stop the self-pity party. I knew the risks and thats why I chose the safer option (the doctor offered Bellafill too, which I was surprised by as it's not advertised on their website). Still just kicking myself.

Thanks for the honest reply Bskidoo!

I want to emphasize that pictures taken shortly after a procedure (especially within/under 72 hours) is not a reliable means to judge the end-result, and I would strongly recommend patience while following the prescribed protocol provided by your Practitioner.

Your penis is bruised, swollen, and healing in this time -- and while yes, problem areas can be detected during this time, it isn't a reason for panic. In fact, being that it is Hyaluronic Acid (HA), these issues may resolve on their own through healing, or could ultimately require some touch-up work down the road.

Respectfully to member Bskidoo, the worst possible time to judge a result is 4 hours post-injection.

Good luck Celtic44 and keep us posted.

Thanks Skeptical-One!

I know I'm swollen and healing, and it's a very harsh time to judge. And I hope my initial impression is proven wrong! However, it just felt off immediately. Like, before I left the room I was injected in it just felt off. I will give it it's short term healing time though... the only issue I'm having with that is the lack of a protocol by the provider. Just normal post-procedural care instructions aside for the no sex/masturbation particular to this. I'm a medical provider myself in a different field who does some procedures, and those are basic post-procedural guidelines. I'm just going to seek out a second opinion in a couple weeks and try some stuff I've read on here but nothing drastic.

Thanks again Skeptical.

Looks like from the bandage the injection site was just from one place unlike most providers that start from the base and work up with each syringe.

@Celtic44 You might get a lifetime membership for posting your results which would allow you to see the photos here:

phalloboards.info/forum/galleryleonardo/...ry-15-cc-s-ml-s.html

phalloboards.info/general-forum/galleryl...ry-20-cc-s-ml-s.html

You should be able to see those photos without the lifetime membership but many users have posted their results here which would allow you to compare.

Luckily HA is not permanent. This user posted their results and how they've lost size overtime as the body absorbs the HA.
@7indream

I would say try Avanti or look at another provider based on what users have posted here. Who was the Dr. that did the procedure out of curiosity?
